(S4) - Weekend PT #4 - No Script - CDub2 - 11-12-2017

On this week's episode of No Script Marshawn Lynch takes a trip to Portland to meet up with DSFL rookie Cameron Taylor.

After spending the day riding bikes, drinking artistically crafted coffee, and picking up a couple more plaid shirts for his wardrobe, Marshawn and Cameron begin to actually film the meat of the episode.

Producers: "Alright Marshawn, we are heading to the Portland Winterhawks arena"
Lynch: "Aight cool, what **** is at the arena?"
Producers: "Cameron is going to take you onto the ice and you'll be playing hockey this week."

The producers did their research and knew Cameron Taylor grew up playing hockey in the Great White North. It would be a great idea to watch a superb athlete like Marshawn Lynch struggle to find his footing on the ice.

Lynch: "Hell nah, ain't no ******-******* way this ***** gon eat **** on ice with all these ******** watching and ****. I'm going to ride my bike again. Go buy a typewriter off a blogger or somethin."
Cameron: "That's about what I expected"
Producers: "Us too. That'll make a great soundbite for the show. Thanks for showing us around town. Good luck this season."

And with that, the TV crew was off to follow Lynch around town and watch him eat candy and ride bikes and do whatever other hipster thing his heart desires.

This week on No Script with Marshawn Lynch Orange County Otters Linebacker Angus Winchester and Marshawn are going to both do something outside of their normal comfort zone. Both being incredible athletes and standout personalities in their respective leagues they have developed great reputations for their work both on and off the field. But it is not football or community outreach on the agenda for today. Nor is it a specialty like Winchester’s farm work. Or weight lifting. Instead the boys find themselves surrounded by 5 foot tall, 80lb Russian teenagers as they fumble their way through a ballet class.

Nothing but hilarity ensues for the remaining time of the show as two fast, hard hitting, strong, and violent men suddenly find themselves in 100% spandex trying to balance on one foot and perform graceful movements with French names. Their instructor who weighs about three-quarters of a Dermot is continually brought down giggling as Lynch and Winchester progress onwards through the movements. Leading with quips such as “Oh yeah, see that right there? I’m a natural, baby.” And “O I’m feeling this, I think I missed my natural calling.” While obviously they are just two hairy men in tights way out of their comfort zone. The episode concludes with a routine, that is failed miserably, and the two men gladly part ways with the art form and return to a field.

Marshawn Lynch, one of the most iconic personalities in recent NFL history, now has his own show called No Script where he does some pretty crazy things. In this episode, Marshawn is joined by Philadelphia Liberty linebacker Micah Hendrix. Marshawn likes to go big or go home and one thing that he wants to try out in this episode is skydiving. Of course, Marshawn is also a man of exquisite taste so he also would like to practice his painting skills during this little outing. That's right, it's a skydiving paint off between Micah and Marshawn. Their goal is to try their hand at painting a copy of the famous Picasso painting, "Three Musicians".

Having never been skydiving before, Hendrix struggles quite a bit to even hold a paintbrush and pad of paper while skydiving, let alone get any paint on his makeshift canvas. Marshawn on the other hand, seems very comfortable even in this insane situation and goes to work on his masterpiece. A short time later, the two manage to arrive safely at the landing site, Marshawn landing quite gracefully and with something that actually resembles a work of art, albeit not anywhere close to a Picasso, and Micah looking rather nervous and covered in more paint himself than he managed to put on the paper. Seriously, where do they come up with the ideas for this show?

The episode concludes with Hendrix and Marshawn running some drills at an Oakland area high school that Marshawn helps coach at.

On this week's episode of No Script, NFL Superstar Marshawn Lynch paid a visit to new up and comer Joseph Askins, a promising tight end in the young NSFL. Lynch is an incredibly famous star from the NFL, and it was an honor for Joseph Askins to meet one of his childhood stars in Marshawn.

On this episode of the show, Marshawn was visiting Canada for the very first time. Being born and raised in California, Lynch was not acclimated to the cold at all, and it was hilarious watching Lynch react to the coldness of Yellowknife.

"This place is so damn cold man. I don't know who you all are able to play football in weather like this. Props to you guys!" Lynch was heard telling Askins.

Lynch decided to go ice skating with Askins and try out playing hockey versus each other. Joseph had never played hockey when he was younger, but after spending two seasons now in Canada, he had played on the ice a few times now. This was brand new for Marshawn, and they decided to have a 1v1. Askins absolutely destroyed Marshawn Lynch in the competition, scoring 25 points on Lynch compared to the 2 points scored by Marshawn.

This was another great episode of No Script, and I am sure next week's episode will be even better!

On the next episode of No Script with Marshawn Lynch, Marshawn meets DSFL player Carlito Crush to meet up with Carlito’s dad, Brutus, at a wrestling school. Marshawn and Carlito both get trained in the school, and work on a whole bunch of basics: how to fall without getting hurt, how to read each other in the ring, and they even dabble into some ring psychology, learning how to work a match. After a few hours of training, Brutus Crush wants to see how Carlito and Marshawn do on the microphone, so he makes them a pretend tag team and they have to “promo battle” the guys he has backstage. Marshawn is ready to take on whoever is behind the curtain and tells them to come on out. All of a sudden you hear “IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL” and Marshawn (and Carlito) freak out as The Rock comes out to talk smack. He doesn’t have a partner because “The Rock needs nobody. AND THE ROCK MEANS NO BODY, to help him in a promo battle”. Marshawn and Carlito give their best try, and while there were some funny burns, it was what you’d expect. The next 5 minutes of their lives was getting a verbal beat down by the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. The Rock won the battle, as he should, but it wasn’t even close. (227)

(S4) - Weekend PT #4 - No Script - Bayley - 11-12-2017

When you are with Marshawn Lynch, you need to live a day in the life, and that is exactly what Benson Bayley did when he was on an episode of No Script with Marshawn Lynch. Benson Bayley and Marshawn went to his favorite spots in downtown Oakland. We hit up some of his favorite restaurants including a burger bar that was named after Lynch. The burger, to no one's surprise had a healthy dose of Skittles on the top of the burger. I have never seen some gobble down a burger so fast. After, we went to his favorite ice cream joint and any guesses at what Marshawn Lynch put on his ice cream? If you guessed Skittles, you would be absolutely correct. Finally, Benson Bayley went to a strip club where he saw what goes on in Marshawn's life. That was a day in the life of Lynch, and the first episode was really fun. There was a lot of outtakes in which could not shown on television, but it was so fun. Now, it is back to business for Benson Bayley. He leads the league in interceptions, it is time to get back to work. Tune in when Benson comes back on another episode.

The night before the show, I was flown in and put up in the Four Seasons hotel. The next morning, I head downstairs to meet up in the lobby with my assistant. There we wait to be picked up by the studio’s car and rushed off to the shooting location. I took the small amount of extra time I had prior to this reminisced on the season I had just completed.

We’re met in the lobby by the executive producer for No Script. He will be our tour guide for the majority of the day, and beyond that, arguably the most knowledgeable person on the planet when it comes to anything you could want to know about Marshawn Lynch. What you soon realize is that there are two very different interesting forces at work on a TV show. We’re warned against taking any pictures, as it frightens the talent, and then walked into the set as to where the filming will take place.

By afternoon, I am informed that the filming is about to begin. I hear Marshawn is on set and I should prepare myself as well. As I head out, I see him sitting across the stage from me. All of a sudden, I hear some music begin and Marshawn stands up, faces away from me, and says, “That’s all the time we have this week.” I am quickly escorted off stage, placed in a car, and chauffeured back to my hotel. My entire time on the show lasted just 6 seconds.
