It had no impact on the previous investigation we did on Er with all of the accusations against him. However, we wanted to address that nothing of this nature will be ignored and will be punished accordingly.
This just seems silly. Why have the rule in the first place then? Not punishing someone just because they have alot of money shouldn't be a reason not to. Sure it won't 'hurt' his bank, but we should keep up the punishments atleast. Let people know it's not cool to do this.

Ok, everyone's concerns have been heard, and Er has now been fined $2M! Yes! Consider this a victory!
Except that he can't tell the difference. You can't tell the difference. The league is not impacted in any way. And this entire argumentl has occurred for literally nothing.
I swear, some people's lives would be empty if not for the Head Office to antagonize. You know what I enjoy? Watching my little dot chasing other dots.

As far as this entire shitfest is concerned, I have no fucking clue what the officials on this league are doing. It's getting ridiculous. It's a fake league for christs sake.

The fine isn't the problem, it's the precedent this sets. Basically this says that since ER did a lot of work ofr the league, he's above league punishment.
The Hawks GM deleted a comment to avoid the escalation of a situation and he was banned from mod powers for 2 seasons and fined $2mil. ER's offense looks far more sinister, yet the rules the FO set weren't followed. Refer to this post to see the rule that was put in place for any abuse of mod powers. It should be a clear cut case.

Just had another thought.
How can we even compare this punishment to other punishments that have occurred or will occur? What does it mean to delay ownership? How does that stack up against removing moderator permissions? Does one month delay equate to three months of mod suspension? Six months? Half a month? And does any or all of this mean that Ballerstorm has to stay on longer than he wants to?
Shouldn't we focus on a punishment that matters to the perpetrator in this unique, once-in-a-lifetime case, rather than demanding that this follow the letter of the law exactly, in a way that will either not matter to Er (a fine) or could be absolutely catastrophic to the league (mod permissions, though I don't actually know what effect this would have)?
Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh.
All I'm saying is, minor infractions by the HO don't detract from the fun of this league nearly as much as the constant need to be correct and pedantic and obsessively contrarian do. I'm seriously hating this right now.

Hard to ignore when it's all that's going on in this league right now.
I'm saying this shit is ruining my fun. I'm sure I'm not the only one. So why not pick our battles, just a little bit? I'm not saying this league isn't important to me. I'm saying it's actively being hurt by some of the actions taking place here. That's the opposite of not caring.
