I get GM's will have BPA draft boards, but 90 seconds is short. Why are you trying to hustle the most important draft in the leagues history anyways? Shouldn't it be an event? I wouldnt call it hustling. NSFL Draft Preview - Kendrick - 06-01-2017 (06-01-2017, 12:34 PM)Ballerstorm Wrote:Problem is we have 22 rounds to get through. Maybe we can do 2 min per pick, that seems more fair, but I hope everyone doesnt take the full two minutes because that would take a long ass time. It's your first draft though, you do it right or its considered half-assing it. You set it there for a time limit but more often than not you have guys selecting at the minute mark or even 30 seconds. If you hustle them, you'll have GM's thinking they rushed and fucked up. I never got why people would take too long and we wish be sitting there waiting for them. If our GMs thing they're being rushed by have a two minute limit then they are simply unprepared. NSFL Draft Preview - Esa77 - 06-01-2017 Awesome write up! Thanks for the kind words @ NSFL Draft Preview - Shaka - 06-01-2017 I don't know. I tend to think the time limit should be more like a guideline. Once names start coming off the board, your roster starts coming together and maybe a few guys pick real quick you can get caught in a spot having to make a tough decision and 90 seconds is gone in an instant. It's happened to me numerous times. So while I agree you don't want it to take tons of hours, you def want to let the first 10 rounds at least get the guy they want. That's my op. But idc cause I'm not a GM so yolo. Lego draft! NSFL Draft Preview - timeconsumer - 06-01-2017 Or maybe keep it 90 seconds, but give each team 5 extensions they can use to double their pick time if they feel it is needed that round. Might be overly complicating things though. Well, I guess we know Colorado is never going to use a 00 personnel package. |
