(S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - Toasty - 07-10-2018 I love how everyone is said all of these other players but there is one player that stands out above the rest. He is a three time ultimus champion, waa the leagues first Most Outstanding Player, he was an offensive linemen from hell, meet Angus Winchester. Angus is probably one of the biggest human, non multi linemen. He gave just 2 sacks in his career as an offsensive linemen, before the bots were added to the league and he was forced to move from Offensive Linr to Linebavjer where he continues to thrive. It seems lije this guys is immune to regression. He took a pretty good hit with regression last year but he got up and he got up and still put up great numbers. You might say i am bias because Angus took me under his wing and made me the linebacker i am and i say to those people go look at his offsensive line stats 2 sacks allowed and 210 pancakes in 3 seasons. That is 70 pancakes a season and 0.67 sacks allowed per season. Then you go and look at his defensive stats, he has 79 career sacks, 482 career tackles. So, he averaged 16 sacks (I rounded was 15.8) and 96 tackles (was 96.4) per season. I dont know when this beast from hell is going to retire, but when he does he is going to have ALL 16 VOTES! Code: 240 words (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - evryday - 07-10-2018 I believe, at the end of his career, Avon Blocksdale will be worthy of a spot in the Hall of Fame. He’s currently sitting in third in passing TDs behind King Bronko and Mike Boss but what differentiates him from these two is his discipline with the ball. Boss has the most interceptions at 116, Bronko is tied for second most with 92 and Blocksdale is all the way down at seventh with just 60 interceptions. Blocksdale has the best touchdown to interception ratio of the top three. (Boss’s 256 TDs to 116 INTs (2.207), Bronko’s 205 TDs to 92 INTs (2.228), and Blocksdale’s 168 TDs to 60 INTs (2.8)) These are impressive numbers for a guy who still has a few (maybe?) seasons left in the tank. Do I think he’s worthy of a spot if these three ended their careers right now? No, but he’d be in the conversation. I do, however, strongly believe by the time he hangs it up, Blocksdale will be a HOF quarterback. @iamslm22 Honorable Mentions: Dan Miller – DT – Colorado Yeti Dan Miller has been the epitome of consistency in the league with a career total of 113 sacks. He was able to weather the storm of the Tuck era to maintain and surpass his sack totals. If that doesn’t scream Hall of Fame then I don’t know what does. @7hawk77 (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - Blastmeaway - 07-10-2018 Chad Pennington for Hall of Fame Class S9 I strongly believe that my brother Chad Pennington should be inducted with the S9 Hall of Fame Class. In his NSFL Rookie season, Chad has already secured the most precious title in all of the NSFL. Chad is an Ultimus Champion. One season in, vying for the Rookie of the Year award Chad is the Real Deal. Shit the whole Yellowknife Wraiths team is the Real Deal. In just 14 games Chad tackled 72 bad guys and had 4 sacks on the bad guys offensive leader. along with that Chad is not even at full form yet. Just think about it a guy like him should be inducted into the Hall of Fame now, then his career is only going to the top of the mountain. To top off his extraordinary rookie regular season Chad picked up 16 tackles and 2 sacks during the playoffs in which he clearly led and won the Wraiths another Ultimus. Kid is the real fucking deal. But do not feel the need to take my word for it. Here are some inspirational quotes from Mad and Dad, "My bb CHAD is just such a big lover, but once he's out on the field he turns into a complete animal!" and "I raised each of my boys different and over the years they've each fallin' in love with a different aspect of the game. Chad is a destroyer in the mid field and loves to blitz!" (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - Roly - 07-10-2018 The Arizona Outlaws were a dynasty for a long time before entering the current reset period, but through it all Reg Mackworthy (@Esa77) has dominated in the red and black. Mack has been a mainstay with the Outlaws through the highs and lows that the team has experienced, weathered the storms that this franchise has had to endure, and yet kept a professional and highly successful career on track throughout it all. Even now, as regression rears its head, Mack has once again dominated in the Outlaw backfield. Notching the most yards (1451) despite being in the midst of regression and playing on a rebuilding team, Mack demonstrated the skillset that has made him one of the finer candidates for the HOF. His career stats are legendary, leading or near the top in all major rushing categories. I think that his demeanour though, even beyond those glorious statistics that are clearly dominant, sets him into another level. It’s rare to find a NSFL player who has gone through as much as Esa, as much as Mack, and still brought a calm presence to the LR and helped management. For seasons in the warroom, Esa/Mack has been a staple and somebody countless GMs have relied on. Get this guy into the Hall. 211 words (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - timeconsumer - 07-10-2018 I'm going to opt for a less obvious choice (and non-selfish choice) here and talk about some of the lesser known people on defense. Defense is always a really tough thing to gauge because of how players don't play an equal number of snaps, and have so many different stats it can be difficult to weight them all. Finally you have to consider how each position comes with a different type of production, a middle linebacker in a low blitz nickel gets way different stats than a 3-4 LOLB in a high blitz scheme. Then you have to consider single-season bias, if one linebacker is great for 2 seasons and mediocre for 5 they are still likely to stick in your mind more than the linebacker who is very good for 7 seasons but never the best. And let's not even get started on how position changes complicate things. So with that I would like to bring you the story of Marc Spector. Marc Spector has been starting at cornerback for several seasons now with the Otters. Here's a fun fact: He has the highest career rate of passes defensed per defensive snap of all defenders in the league with over 3000 snaps (3000 snaps is about 3 seasons of play). On average he defensed a pass 1.46% of the plays he was involved in, the next closest at 1.40% was Phillipe Carter. Perennial stud Delacour was down at #5 with 1.31%. Marc Spector may not have gotten a ton of interceptions during his career, but he was a monster in sticky coverage and was excellent at getting his hand in there to break up the pass. So my vote for hall of fame will definitely go to @RedCydranth when his name eventually hits the ballot for being an outstanding corner that does not get the credit he deserves for his efficiency on defense. (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - nunccoepi - 07-10-2018 (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - White Cornerback - 07-10-2018 Is Ardie Savea HOF quality? He's currently a TE right now but during his time as a RB, he's currently 4th all time in rushing yards with 6097 yards. That's just 70 yards away from 2nd all time which would leave him behind Mackworthy who is on par for 9k/10k yards by the time his career ends. Savea is 5th all time in rushing touchdowns with 39 , an average of only 3.3 yards but this is pretty much solely down to his time on the tanking Las Vegas Legion and the new look New Orleans Second Line. Savea is also 2nd all time in attempts and he has been an absolute workhorse when called upon for duty. It's a shame that Savea is currently a TE but does that not show his character? His willingness to set aside individual goals and dreams for a collective team effort and fill in where he is needed. Let's not forget his TE efforts either, he's currently 37th all time in receiving yards and likely will be in the top 25 next year, Savea also is 38th in receiving TD's with 9 so far at an early point in his TE career. Regardless of team accolades I'd like to think Savea is already one foot into the HOF at present time. (S9) - PT 1 - Hall of Fame - AW13 - 07-10-2018 Let's do it! Love it!
