Lo Rax has always had the dream of playing football professionally. He knew he had the requisite talent physically, he knew his acumen of the game, and affinity for expanding that knowledge base would carry him schematically, and her knew he had the determination to make it a reality. But, even with this things said, he was never naive enough to believe that anything was guaranteed. As such, he prepared for a life without football at any turn. Despite leaving college without a diploma for the NSFL, Lo that since earned his degree in engineering technology, and is a certified welder, in both the traditional sense, and I'm underwater welding. If the NSFL folded tomorrow, Rax could find gainful employment quickly, as there's a need in industry for people of such skill. Luckily, since the NSFL hasn't folded... Rax can reserve that skill for handy work around his home, and the homes of his friends.

If the NSFL disbanded, Balthazar Crindy would probably head back home to Baton Rouge, see if he can reconnect any memories, painful or otherwise. He knows he has to do it, he knows its an eventuality that he'll have to go home. Everyone has to go home eventually. Perhaps Crindy would teach the next generation of kids at his old high school, or take an internship at the law firm that helped him sue the scientists who froze him in 1990.

Perhaps this is why Crindy is clinging and fighting and clawing so hard for a long career in the NSFL. To avoid ever, ever going back to face the pain, and instead living in this new world, separated in both time and place from memories, of all his passed relatives and friends, separated from the massive change and sprawling suburban reach that Baton Rouge has become, past the painful revolution in conservative politics and the accompanying financial crises it has endured, past the city's own scars from hurricanes near and far, past all those he feels guilty for having left behind to die, even if it wasn't his own choice.

If the NSFL disbanded, Kolby Deringer would have an opportunity to put his accounting degree to use. Having earned it from the University of Texas at Austin prior to his graduation, he would have roots in Austin, Marshall and Slidell to find someone who could use those sorts of skills. His most promising prospects would likely be for several businesses across Austin, the biggest city of the three and who are almost always hiring Longhorn graduates.

With his mug on many TV sets in the city, they would both understand the delay and likely bring him on to spin his image a bit. The biggest eye-catcher in the city that would be likely to hire him on would be the Frost Bank Tower, the third-tallest structure in Austin. With a variety of skills, from accounting to tracking fraud and suspect activity, Deringer would likely miss football if the NSFL had to disband, though he has a contingency plan in place to work for any number of businesses, most likely a bank.

Most people don't know much about Cameron Taylor's background but growing up, Cameron was a pretty good hockey player. He was even offered a scholarship to the University of Michigan to play on the hockey team there. He instead chose to play football at Michigan, but he still continued to play hockey in his free time and even includes hockey in his off season training program. So if the NSFL shut down tomorrow and Taylor was out of a job, he would probably have to enter the SHL draft and continue his sporting career. There's a good chance that a Canadian born University of Michigan hockey payer with the physicality of a football player would go pretty high in the rookie draft. Based on age rules in the SHL, Taylor might even have to go directly to the SHL as an undrafted free agent. Who knows. One thing for certain is that Taylor still has a lot of sport left in him, no matter if it's on the field or on the rink. Settling down into a desk job isn't where Taylor is in his life right now. 189

Felix Hasselhoff would be following in his Uncle David's footsteps. Early in his life he was exposed to music and acting. He took to music like a fish to water and maintains a band at current - even while playing football. But he would definitely be branching out into the acting world if he couldn't be playing in the DSFL/NSFL. Felix played the drums and sang for his band, Die Illusion, which played a very hard edged version of doom and progressive metal.

Hasselhoff also spent time as a youngster playing the supporting role of Hans the genius child, on the short lived tv series Detective Kimbül und das Kind, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the easily angered by supportive Detective Jan Kimbül.

Felix has many family connections and surely he would find much to fill his time with given that the NSFL did not exist. But at the moment the young German is having one hell of a time and is glad that the league does exist.

As I awoke from my nightly slumber, I heard the sounds of birds calling for their mates and the smell of fresh cut grass. Kif, what are you doing in my quarters private!?.... mmhmm I see. Please leave me to be and tell the media to be here in 2 hours. Zappy needs his alone time to look good. Ladies and Gentleman, I know why you have all come here… Kif I did not ask you to speak up… you FREELY decided to come and discuss the events that occurred this past evening. Now we all know it is sad every single person involved in the NSFL was consumed by a black hole, but you know what that means? Captain Zapp Brannigan is back to serve you muskrats. First thing, I will need a new ship, and second get me the most malleable men and, of course, women you can find. Brannigan is back in service baby, time to get this baby rolling.

If the NSFL disbanded Applehort would join the NFL. Already a mediocre MLB player, he wouldn’t go to the MLB. Applehort’s services would be coveted by various teams to say the least. The Chicago Bears, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New York Giants, the Washington Redskins, the Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Baltimore Ravens, the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills, the New York Jets, and the Miami Dolphins could all use the youngster’s service. I believe Applehort would be a middle of the pack quarterback, throwing a good amount of touchdowns but also plenty of picks as well. Not quite a franchise quarterback. However, his services would provide sturdy reliability, as Applehort has managed not to get injured a single time in two full seasons of having an awful offensive line. Anyways, Applehort probably wouldn’t touch the playoffs. He doesn’t know what playoffs even are.

Brad Pennington would probably go into broadcasting or public media if the NSFL ceased operations. His degree should open a few doors for him to enter marketing as a stable career field. Maybe he could even go into statistics and become an analyst. Football is a lot similar to certain careers that require an extensive usage of teamwork and social skills. It's not a flashy way to make a living, but without the NSFL that's simply what pro talent like Pennington has to manage. The work isn't as steady as most careers, although it can be as lucrative as the NSFL to an extent. However, with the money saved up from the NSFL it should be easy to grow those funds by investing in bonds. This should allow for a comfortable standard of living without particularly going overboard with an expensive lifestyle. The NSFL pension system probably will continue to pay out funds after retirement to add another supplemental form of income.

Should the National Simulation Football League suddenly be disbanded forever and players like Borkus Maximus III find themselves in the unfortunate situation where now they must find actual “real” jobs, Borkus Maximus III would become a personal trainer probably because he doesn’t have many transferable skills in any kind of notable industry except he knows how to work out and he’s fit and that’s pretty much all you need to be a physical trainer he’d just help old people with their work outs and motivate them with encouraging works such as “you can do it” and “I believe in you” you know classics such as those which really fire up the gonads and get the adrenaline pumping that is what Borkus Maximus III would do because it’s easy and he probably wouldn’t even have to go to school or anything and he has the star power to make it work and attract clients.
