(S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - TeyonSchavari - 03-20-2019 This preseason has been a grueling one. After being selected by the Pythons in round 8, AJ Lattimer has been putting in a lot of effort into improving his strength & speed so he can show he was worth the pick. He's put in a lot of work during training to prove he is worthy of his roster spot and intends to make it clear he belongs on this team. However, even with his busy workout schedule, Lattimer still finds time for prayer. He's been seen at a Catholic church in Portland, trying to familiarize himself with a new place of worship. We'll see if all of his hard work and strong faith lead to success for him this year. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - PSanchez55 - 03-20-2019 Lejune is pushing himself to be great. One year that got him Rookie of the Year consideration (It is not Lejune's fault Trout had a historic rookie year), and another year that earned him a Pro Bowl appearance is not enough. He hasn't forgotten his goal to be the greatest LB of all time. That silly trade sequence that lead to Colorado selecting him will turn out well for Colorado. Lejune is working to become a better tackler, and improving his agility to better stick with opposing receivers. Yeti have to win an Ultimus. Making one, is never enough. (Lejune has been spending a good amount of time mentoring the future of linebacking in Portlands training camp.) (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - NylarthePhoenix - 03-20-2019 After being selected #71 overall by Norfolk, Apollo Reed quickly got to work on rising through the ranks of the league. He continued his tradition of being the first to practice and the last finished. He wanted to prove the rest of the league wrong for passing on him, especially Kansas City for trading his pick away. During training, Apollo Reed was most commonly found on either the treadmill, or running laps around the field still looking to increase his overall speed. However, Apollo also spent time on the field, studing plays, and hanging out with his teammates and fellow running back to help build relationships with them. The Liberty has hired a psychiatrist who's been helping her overcome the traumatic experience. She has stated that Dr. Bell has been of great help to her and that she wakes up from nightmares where she just throws interceptions all the time a lot less than just a couple of weeks ago. Now everyone in the Liberty, from management to fans and players themselves, hope she can get her shit together because pass heavy strategy here we come. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - Rouchicus - 03-20-2019 I think Hardshaft is spending his pre-season getting to know the playbook and developing relationships with his fellow defensive studs. Rock likes to know the playbook inside and out. If one person is out of position, then we are all out of position. Making sure he can have an awareness of what job each player has on the field will only make the defense stronger, and he expects the same from his teammates. He also thinks that developing that brotherhood with the other guys on defense will make them all better. "A rising tide lifts all ships." This team spent a lot of picks on the defense and he'll be damned if it doesn't lead to having one of the best defenses in the league. 127 Words (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - Qux - 03-20-2019 Tobias Chase is spending this preseason getting to know his new Norfolk teammates and working out with fellow rookie CB Lucas Knight. Playing for one of the expansion teams is pretty exciting for him, there's always a big chance to shine. Tobias is learning the playbook as fast as he can and making sure to hit the treadmill. He knows he's not the fastest around so he's looking to avoid getting burned. This is Norfolk's first year under new ownership and Tobias wants to show that drafting him was a great decision. He had never visited Norfolk before so he's also taking in the city and sights. 107 Words (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - flyeaglesfly29 - 03-20-2019 What am I doing this offseason? I'm making sure to make every other gm in the DSFL regret not picking me before the Portland Pythons. Am I happy that I became a Python? Of course I am, but the fact that I fell all the way to the 6th round is absurd, but it will be used! There is a chip on my shoulder the size of Portland at this point and that will fuel me to become the best LB in the DSFL before I make my way to the NSFL and continue my destruction. Hard work beats talent, when talent does work hard enough! (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - karl - 03-20-2019 after a mass exodus in Arizona the Outlaws are prepping for the upcoming season with a very different squad. One of the few returnee's is Raymond Vans. Outside of his regular off-season training regime he has spent a significant amount of time getting to know his new teammates and has become good friends with several of them. Most of their time together has been spent on the practice field or in the gym crushing out sets and setting new PR's. This season will be one of growth for the Outlaws and getting to know your teammates is a fantastic way to get the ball rolling. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - nunccoepi - 03-20-2019 Verso L'Alto, for the season season in a row, is moving. Now, it'll be a little bit easier this time around since he didn't completely move everything over from Baltimore since he had an idea he would be going back and because he has Blackford Oakes to keep him company on the road trips again, but its still more of a distraction than he has had other off seasons. He'll spend the rest of the time getting to know his new teammates. Despite the fact that he's already familiar with his QB and receiving corps, there are other new faces that he's looking forward to getting to know like future HOFer, Marquise Brown, Andre Bly Jr., and Arbin Asipi. Finally, he plans to camp out outside of @Ben's house to convince him to sign with the Hawks. (S14) Bonus Mini Pre-Season PT - TomHanks - 03-20-2019 This preseason, I’ll be running. I’m always trying to get faster and be able to run longer. There’s nothing in the world I love more than running as quick as I can in open space. I want to be as quick as anyone in the DSFL and the NSFL, and I want to be able to keep that speed up from the start of the game all the way through to the end, no matter how many times coach gives me the football. I’m thrilled to be a Luchadore, and I’ve heard some good things about going out in Tijuana, so I may have to try that some time this preseason as well. |
