(S14) PT 4 - Cameo - StamkosFan - 04-18-2019 Tommy Helanen is going to make an appearance in the fourth Avengers installment, Endgame, as he is a diehard Marvel fan and would love to be involved in the MCU. Helanen will appear in some form of a tough guy role, but as human to tie in to his actual strength and speed in real life. He doesn't care if he appears as a good guy or a bad guy as long as it is a flattering portrayal of his physique and conditioning. He is going to fight a character with super powers and while he is going to lose the fight, he will put up more of a fight than expected, which should gain respect. He is playing a football player who turned mercenary a few years back at the prospect of money, which should die directly into his athletic role in real life. Being in the cast of such a blockbuster film will garner lots of attention for Tommy, the Wraiths, and the NSFL, so it's a great way to attract new people to the league's viewership since the movie will have millions of viewers all over the world. It is definitely something that Tommy and league plan to promote heavily on social media to capitalize on the opportunity, and Tommy was thrilled to get to meet the stars of the MCU while on set. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - Bwestfield - 04-18-2019 James Bishop has found himself starring in a large numbers of commercials. But what has really gotten the attention of fans lately is his reprising role on Jeopardy. Sometimes he is a contestant playing for charity (we hope) and sometimes he has filled in for incumbent host Alex Trebek. James is very outspoken on various topics such as Cystic Fibrosis and more recently Pancreatic Cancer which caught the eyes and ears of the Jeopardy producers. Now dealing with Pancreatic Cancer Alex Trebek has up and down days while doing various experimental drug treatments. James does his part with the show to help bring more awareness to this deadly disease. Alex has been deteriorating at a rapid rate and it is unknown how much longer he will be able to do the show but he is adamant to finish out his contract. James has not given any clues if he would rather spend his time on Jeopardy or the field but it is rumored on Trebek’s death or inability to do the show that he could take over as the host. This could either be a very short career for Bishop on the field or weekdays on the set and weekends on the field, only time will tell. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - WALDO - 04-19-2019 https://sba.today/forums/index.php?/topic/3...-draft-already/ (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - karl - 04-19-2019 Raymond Vans is building off a strong rookie season as he continues to post big numbers in the sophomore season. His recent success has drawn the attention of the league and beyond as several TV shows have requested he make the odd cameo appearance to help boost their ratings. The most recent of which is the latest season of Suits. Raymond appears as himself, albeit with a different name to protect the league. He's one of several athletes protected by Harvey Spectre and Mike Ross who is amidst contract disputes with his team, the San Francisco Outlaws. Eager to earn what he's worth, Harvey is out to earn a big win for Raymond and the Outlaws as they continue their recent rebuild and push for a championship. He's also done some voice acting for several shows including Dragon Ball Z Super Duper and a low budget animation movie by Bixar. In the former he played a earthling by the name of Vansaru who practices at Satan's gym and in the latter he voices a macho bag of potato chips that's lost in the grocery store and must return to his aisle. Along the way he encounters many challenges and gains many new friends. A real coming of age tale for the lowly bag of chips. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - ErMurazor - 04-19-2019 While many players in the league are going to want to be on the big main stream shows Jayce Tuck would rather go a different route and do a cameo on something a bit outside of the box. In this particular instance Jayce Tuck thinks that the television show Myth Busters could be a good fit. Jayce Tuck is a personal fan of the show back in its glory days and Jayce Tuck thoroughly enjoyed the various ridiculous shenanigans the show took on. Jayce Tuck thinks that he would have the opportunity to either show off his physical traits and do some sort of feat of athleticism like race a cheetah or arm wrestle a gorilla on television, two challenges he would obvious win. However, even if the Myth Busters crew decided not to do an athletic challenge or myth to be busted, Jayce Tuck would have the opponent to partake in something else awesome that would almost certainly involve destroying something by going fast or something. If that were not the case it would probably involve blowing stuff up which is something that Jayce Tuck could obviously get behind. Regardless, the show would give Jayce Tuck a way to get his brand into the home of some non-typical football fans while also giving him a bit of street cred as a guy of math and science. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - Mavfatha - 04-19-2019 Freezer Riposte would be a guest star on an episode of NCIS. It's a classic series with a devout following but it could also use the star power of someone like Freezer to really bring in that demographic of people that follow the NSFL. Specifically his role would be as the victim of that particular episode. He would go missing on his Navy vessel - the S.S. Sabercat - only to be found a week later stuffed in a big ole freezer. Fans of the show and of Riposte alike would have to appreciate the irony of that. Anyways he would really steal the show by being perfectly still on an autopsy table for the vast majority of the episode in one of the most dramatic and heart wrenching examinations ever seen on the series. This performance would go on to allow freezer his choice of a variety of similar shows and roles, and he would go on to act as a dead person on episodes of NCIS New Orleans, CSI, The Rookie, Blue Bloods, and 60 Minutes. People would even begin to recognize him on the street, not for his mediocre football skills but instead for appearing in one episode of many different shows without ever doing much of anything. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - smaxx77 - 04-19-2019 Timmy Hoss was very nervous when he first heard a television show was interested in having him on. He wanted to be known as a football player and believed that acting could only be a distraction from that. However, he was over the moon when he learned that the show was American Ninja Warrior. He had long been a fan of the show, so an opportunity to run the course was one he couldn’t refuse. He had no intentions of winning or even doing that well. He just wanted the opportunity to try. “I spent a couple weeks practicing in my back yard.” Timmy said. “I grabbed a bunch a spare parts and built little obstacles to practice on. I didn’t spend much time on it. I just didn’t want to look like an idiot when I was out there.” Timmy’s run went well for the first few obstacles at least. “I won’t tell you where I failed.” He said with a coy smile. “You’re going to have to tune in and see for yourself.” For fans of both the NSFL and American Ninja Warrior this is a can’t miss opportunity. Tune in to see Timmy Hoss attempt one of the world’s hardest obstacle courses. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - MaxGnarland - 04-19-2019 Quentin Sinclair would make a cameo in one of the DC movies because their characters are far better than the Marvel ones. Although superhero movies are extremely popular DC films have fallen mostly flat so far. They have a more niche audience than their Marvel counterparts so including a professional athlete would help the movie reach a larger potential audience. He would play a relatively small part in the movie as to not decrease the quality of the movie with his terrible acting but large enough to get interest from the sports fans who may not see the movie otherwise. In the new Green Lantern movie he would be Hal Jordan's (the Green Lantern) flight partner. He would go through the Air Force academy with Hal and would perish in a plane crash early on in the movie. This crash would be one of the main reasons that Hal has for retiring from the Air Force. The retirement would eventually lead him to receiving a Green Lantern ring from the dying Abin Sur. The role wouldn't be major enough to rely on great acting but would still be a major part in the narrative of the movie which Sinclair is a fan of. (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - MrStennett - 04-19-2019 Because of his build and ethnic heritage, it makes perfect sense for Thorian Skarsgard to make an appearance on the History Channel hit show, Vikings. About the famed viking king, Ragnar Lothbrok, the show follows his attempts to discover glory in battle in new lands against unknown civilizations. Skarsgard's Norwegian heritage and imposing demeanor make him perfect for a cameo appearance on the show. Preferably, he would be a viking warrior in an army of men, all preparing for battle. It would be fun for Otters fans to pause their TVs and have a double take when they realize their team's star defensive lineman is in the group wearing leather armor and covered in fake tattoos. As he is not at all an actor, Skarsgard wouldn't really want a part with any lines involved, but the thought of being featured quickly on screen appeals to him quite a bit. Especially if they let him carry around some kind of big battleaxe or maybe a replica greatsword. Being from Scandinavia, Skarsgard has always been fascinated with vikings and the their culture, and this show would be a perfect opportunity to live out one of his interests. There's no time like the present for this to happen, especially with the show ending after next season. Code: 213 words (S14) PT 4 - Cameo - BrewCrew - 04-19-2019 Deon Taylor would grow up watching various game shows with his favorites being Family Feud and Jeopardy. It was his dream to one day compete on one of these shows. With his star power growing each and every day, he hopes to one day make celebrity appearances on various game shows. Maybe he could even host this own show given the opportunity. But Deon would love the opportunity to show off his smarts to the world. Apart from game shows, Deon is just an overall lover of tv shows and movies. It has also been a dream for him to transition into acting after his football career is over. Whether it be in a comedy setting or a serious drama flick, Deon strives to appear on the big screen. Deon Taylor also wants to host an episode of Saturday Night Live. He isn’t afraid to show off his sense of humor and would love to perform next to all those talented individuals. Lastly, Deon would excel at football related entertainment. Coming in as an analyst or a commentator, he would be able to use his football intelligence and inform many people. He could relate to when he played in the league and give viewers a unique perspective. |
