For me, I think I'd like a complete re-do of every single draft I did as the Chicago Blues. It was only two drafts, but I don't think I got any truly active players. In fact the only player that was drafted by the Blues who is still active to this day is me. Only me. We drafted a freaking Er Multi 6th overall in the first draft.
Before the first one, I had created the team along with Muford; but before the draft even happened, he got an offer to become the GM of the San Jose Sabrecats. I had not done enough research into the first draft and it showed. The only player that went to the Blues that ever did anything with their life and wasn't named "Tegan Atwell" was Haruki Ishigawa, who was a waiver pickup.
The moral of the story about my entire time as a GM in the DSFL was that enthusiasm and passion didn't really necessarily translate into work and success. I really wanted o have my own team in Chicago and then suddenly I was alone on that team. I was unable to find any real actives to continue to improve the side and by the time I was being forced out it made sense that it would all be closed down.

The decision I would overturn would be easy. This was completely based on the sim doing something that made no sense, as usual. Vander Jones was running free down the sideline, and he was inexplicably caught by some AZ player from about 20 yards back with similar speed near the goal line. Now, this would have been the go ahead TD since there was about 45 seconds left on the clock at the start of the play in the 4th quarter. Anyway, getting tackled from behind was not great, because you'd think you'd have time to run a few plays right? WRONG. The game ended right there. Say the play took 10 seconds to run, that would leave 35 seconds on the clock. Which would easily be enough time for the offense to run up and spike the ball and get a couple shots at the endzone. But no, the sim said that after the play our entire team just sort of sauntered up to the ball as time expired. Obviously if I could go back I would change this, as it would give me my first Ultimus. That said, there's no use dwelling on the past, and I am hopeful for the future here in Philly. I think we can turn this thing around pretty quickly.

I would go back and overturn Palm Beach's decision to take Blocksdale Jr. instead of me to be their QB for the last part of the season. The guy has no future as a QB and if he does, it will be filled with disappointment and a lot of interceptions, I don't know why they would take a chance on him. Obviously, they are tanking so that makes sense and maybe they just need to show future NSFL GMs that this guy does not have what it takes to play in the big leagues, I don't know. I know they probably should have taken Deondre Thomas-Fox who ended up going to the Portland Pythons to be the backup for Cue and not get any playing time. It is fine for DTF to not get playing time as Portland has a chance to be an Ultimini champion and has home field now I believe. Portland is also the place where Thomas-Fox's idol Joliet L. Christ played his DSFL football as well for a few years before ultimately becoming the starting quarterback for the San Jose Sabrecats and having what should be a hall of fame career. Palm Beach made a big mistake and one that shows they are a bottom of the barrel team. Maybe they will get smart come draft time and take Thomas-Fox but who knows what will happen. Teams need to scheme for DTF's talents and if they are not smart enough to pass on taking a bad QB like Blocksdale Jr. then they might not be able to use DTF to his full potential. DTF will be the greatest DSFL QB to ever play, so this was a mistake by PB that should be overturned.

Back in the day when the league first formed there were 6 teams. Stating that you would see how easy it was to make the playoffs. Just don’t suck. There would always be two teams that sucked every year until expansion. That was the very next year, Season 2. But back to season 1. There were 4 teams in the playoffs. The Outlaws (who won it all), the Otters, The Yeti (runner ups) and Wraiths. The Hawks and Sabercats were the suck. It was a new league and there was a learning curve. Someone had to be last. But during this time (not this exact moment, but at some point around or in season 1) Noble and ErMurazor made the decision to make multiple players. This is the decision I would ultimately want to reverse. Er is still a member of our community. Noble however is not. At some point when they were allowed to return from their temporary ban, Nobel again broke the rules and create multiple players. He has since been banned from the league permanently. I guess I would just not want them to do that to such a young league. It caused a lot of problems when we first started. Arizona now has several championships that I personally dismiss simply because of that advantage. When everyone has a low TPE count, every person counts and can make a team so much better. Especially with offensive linemen. Can’t go back in time, we can only move forward.

PSA: Don’t make a multi. You will get caught.

If I could change one thing in the entire league it would be the dumb decision making that the sim does on a daily basis. While the sim is fun to watch and I enjoy watching as many games as I can it can be frustrating to watch the team make bone headed play calls or decisions in crucial points of the game. Either punting while down and very little time left, calling nonsensical time outs and random points in the game, calling run plays on 3rd and long late in games. Whatever it is the sim definitely has some issues with its AI and play calling abilities especially when it matters most. Overall the league still is great though and since it's the best we have I am not going to complain too much because the alternatives could be worse. But seeing your team blow something big on something so dumb can be entirely too frustrating. The other thing I would maybe change would be the offseason length. I know things don't have to move near as fast as other leagues do but I feel like having what feels like a month of offseason is just way too long for anyone especially newer players to the league who could lose interest and leave. When your main selling point of the league is having people interested in sims it shouldn't be that long off without them or you begin to have retention issues.

This is a good question. If I were to go back and reverse any decision, it’d be the decision to let scorp be gm of the Norfolk Seawolves. I would then become gm, and the talented team would have been been able to compete for a championship. My first move would obviously be to set strats for every game, since this was a big issue for us. My second move would be to trade Jay Longshaw as far from the team as physically possible. Everything that Longshaw touches is ruined. He deserved to serve the qb water, not to play. For qb, we’d either sell the farm to trade, claim one, or have someone position change, but it’d still be better than watch Longshaw throw the season away.

The third thing I’d do is completely mortgage the future. It would hurt nothing as the DSFL was contracted the next season anyway so if I unloaded picks it wouldn’t have made any difference.

I know this might not seem like a crazy big thing but I have a big soft spot for the Seawolves, for my former teammates, and for slm for drafting me. Being their gm for a season would be an honor and is a goal for me if the dsfl ever expands again like with the s15 and s18 draft classes.

I can reverse something? OOOHHH BOY, I know exactly what I would change. This season has been an absolute rollercoaster with all the upsets which ruined my predictions. That is why I wish that I could redo all the terrible predictions that I made. Teams that I that I thought would perform pretty well on like the Liberty and Second Line absolutely tanked my predictions. I wish that I could go back in time and tell myself “THEY ARE GONNA SUCK”. It would’ve earned me like uh… 5 tpe, which to me matters a lot. That’s about +1 into endurance. Also, my season predictions would be so different. As stated above, I had put the Second Line and the Liberty to high. I almost forgot the team that kept getting upset. The one that ruined everyone’s predictions. The team that drafted me, the Arizona Outlaws. Freaking Swag lost games to WAY WAY worse teams such as the Second Line, the Yeti, and the Austin Giant Salamanders. I have lost so much tpe(like 5) because of the Outlaws. So yeah, I wish I could redo my predictions but that doesnt say I did terrible. Lets just say, the Outlaws won’t be losing those games in the coming seasons.

If I can reverse one thing, that would be joining so late and having to be approved post TD. I don't know if the next draft class is gonna be as good, but I see a lot in the S18 group. They are the ones that will run the show. You know, if they don't destroy the "Fascist" show first. In all honesty, I am not sure how I would do if I joined in the beginning of the season, before the DSFL draft. I just know that I like the guys in the class, even if they asked my the dreaded hotdog sandwich question. They adopted me into their class, like literally. I have a whole role and everything. Very accommodating, and they like my graphics. I know this doesn't really relates to the sim itself. However, I have only been in two games so far, and not enough happened for me to be too upset. Maybe I could change an incomplete past to let the Pythons QB beat the season record for passing TDs. That would be good too. Maybe change the unnecessary roughness call on my player. Like come on, it wasn't that rough you dumb sim. I guess that one would be more in theme. If you chose not to count this because it isn't really the answer you wanted, I understand.
