You can absolutely write it if you have the consent of the people you're writing about. Otherwise you can't hide behind the line of "I'm writing in-character" or "I'm just writing about the player."
And as I said before, this is for the target of the attack to decide if they want something done or not. The article about run? He was okay with it in the end, so that wouldn't have triggered anything. The article about Bex? She was not okay with it and that's the time where you'd refer to the rules.
We also don't have a code of conduct, so that's a problem.

For me, The Bex one was way more aggressive than the others, plain and simple. When you compare it to the others, Boom usually calls out the teams in some fashion, but for some reason doesn't even consider SJS to be in the wrong at all. It makes me think he has some connection there, considering he did "research" on the matter.
