With only two Wide Receivers currently in the Hall of Fame, I thought that it may be about time another one is added, despite being one of the more recently retired players. I believe that Xavier Flash should be considered for the Hall of Fame. Flash has 74 touchdowns in his combined DSFL and NSFL career while also adding 692 catches for 10,157 yards. This makes him one of the few elite wide receivers to be part of the 10,000 receiving yards club. However, I believe that his most impressive stat is that according to the statistics I am able to see, he did not record a single dropped pass in the last seven years of his career. Flash finished his career with one Ultimus Championship in Season 14 with the SaberCats and 2 Pro Bowl appearances. Although this might not seem super impressive, I also think it is important to list his accolades from the DSFL with 2 DSFL Ultimini Championships, 2 awards for DSFL WR of the Year, 1 DSFL MVP award, and was also the 1st overall pick in the DSFL draft. In conclusion, his accolades might not be the most impressive, but if you are selecting Hall of Fame inductees based upon their statistical output as well as their contributions to the game, there is no doubt that Xavier Flash should be included.

If there is one player who is not currently in the National Simulation Football League’s hall of fame that deserves it currently, It’s Marquise Brown, the leagues all time leading rusher. During his time with 3 teams, the Philadelphia Liberty, the Baltimore Hawks, and his lone season with the Chicago Butchers. He currently holds the seasonal rushing yards record at 1,901 rushing yards, and the most rushing yards all time at 12,587 rushing yards, beating the next closest by 379 yards. Strangely, the Liberty has not retired his jersey number despite leading the team in all time rushing yards, attempts, and even rushing TD’s, it’s a shame that the Liberty have not done it. He’s also won a lot of awards, including an Ultimus with the hawks in S15, league MVP in S13, and a offensive player of the year in 2028. He has also received the running back of the year award in 4 straight years. There’s a reason he deserves to be in the hall of fame, he’s the leagues all time leading rusher, the man who pioneered the running back position in the leagues, even was the the final piece needed for the Ultimus run the hawks had in S15. Get the G.O.A.T. RB in the hall, vote Marquise Brown aka @YoungTB in the hall.

As of writing this PT, there is only one full-time Defensive End enshrined in the Hall of Fame; Fuego Wozy, the 8-time Pro Bowler who revolutionised the position and was very important for each of the four teams he played for. Obviously, he ended his career with the New Orleans Second Line. And the person I have chosen to discuss in this post that was specifically drafted to replace the retired Wozy as a long-term option at defensive end. That player... is Lo Rax. After playing a season with the best team in the DSFL, the Kansas City Coyotes, Lo Rax was drafted 8th overall (1st round) by NOLA - who of course had won the Ultimini the season before. In his rookie season - even whilst sharing time with veterans like Jayce Tuck and Juan Andres who have been on the Hall of Fame ballot before - managed the most tackles by a DE with 77 and 5 sacks, the 4th most for a rookie that year. Over the next 3 seasons, Lo Rax would achieve 3 Pro Bowl selections, whilst also helping NOLA to their second and last Ultimini title in Season 11. After retiring recently, Lo Rax would end up with the 4th most tackles for loss in NSFL history - behind Wozy, Tuck and Drew Davidson - and would amass 4 Pro Bowl appearances which stands at the 4th most amassed at the DE position - behind Wozy, Tuck and 2 position Hall of Famer Kurt Hendrix. In the 10 seasons Lo Rax played, he earned a reputation as a solid run-stopping DE that you would hate to face when he was at his best. And while getting in the Hall may be a tough task for a DE-only legend - as can be seen by only Wozy having achieved it to this point - Lo Rax has a least earned a chance at being in the conversation.

Wow could this prompt have been any more perfect for me? The player I’m going to be talking about is my previous player, Cordell Joshua. A former second overall pick all the way back in S6, Cordell was a truly dominant player in his era and was cruelly denied entry into the Hall of Fame for reasons I truly cannot fathom. If we were to ignore the fact that he was perhaps the most important cog on the championship winning Baltimore Hawks team that won the Ultimus in S10, and also ignored the fact that he was one of the players who had the greatest ratio of tpe earned to success achieved ever, Joshua should still get in on the fact that he is top ten in all time Tackles for Loss. How many players are top ten in one of the most important stats available for a defensive player and aren’t in the Hall of Fame? It’s straight up insulting that he isn’t getting the kind of recognition that he deserves from the Hall of Fame. Cordell only went to one Pro Bowl in his career, which is again a snub but perhaps it’s that snub that’s left him on the outside looking in when it comes to a spot in the Hall of Fame.

In the glittering room surrounded by the mighty and the elite of NSFL, we toast the incoming Hall of Fame class and congratulate them on their splendor. And while we truly applaud the S19 Class, it would behoove us to look at the future of the NSFL and the recently retired stars that also fill the room.

Perhaps one of the most interesting is Tegan Atwell, the Otter’s (and, for one year, a Wraith) wide receiver who recently retired after bringing her team to the Ultimus Trophy in 4 separate occasions. Her number of receiving yards alone is impressive at over 6400, and, although her final few years at the Otters would see a slow down in her numbers, Atwell is known for racking up 50 touchdowns and 4 seasons of 1000+ yards.

However, Atwell’s influence does not merely exist on the field. One of the few female players in the NSFL, Atwell made headlines in 2022 by coming out as gay, becoming only the second NSFL player to do so. What makes this even more amazing is that Atwell’s announcement did not detract from her skills or cause her to lose focus on the game. Instead, by announcing her sexual preference and then ignoring the gossip to play a 1200+ yard season, Atwell proved to the world that homophobia or misogyny had no place on the field, and helped helm NSFL to the inclusive organization that is has come to be.

I am going to be talking about Verso L'Alto for this and why he should be in the hall of fame. First off, the biggest reason is he played for the Luchadores, which makes him way more qualified than most. But if you really need starts how about him winning Tight End of the Year 4 times. An Offensive rookie of the year when he moved up to major leagues. He won 2 Ultimus championships when he moved from Luchadores.

Still need more? Okay, let us double down shall we? He went 113-60 all time record meaning he nearly doubled he total wins showing how dominant the Hawks were with him. Over 8,800+ yards in his career with over 57 touchdowns and 400+ pancakes. He was selected for the pro bowl a good amount of times and overall just a really fucking strong Tight End. It is pretty clear that with him having easily 1000+ TPE he is for sure going to make the hall of fame. Not to mention the guy out of his character is nothing short of a really supportive dude and it would be hard to say that he does not deserve to be missed out on cause he has earned it with a great attitude. But mainly he played for the Luchadores once. Big factor for sure.

Trey Willie is easily the best Wide Receiver in NSFL History, just by observing the starts below. He is the Jerry Rice of the NSFL and if he is not brought in at the first possible opportunity, there will be a revolt and numerous player retirements in outrage at the decision.
14,421 – Career receiving yards, the most in NSFL history. Nearly 1000 more yards than second
6,287 – Career kickoff return yards, 10th all-time. 5th at the time of his retirement
880 – Career catches, 3rd all-time. 2nd at retirement
716 – Career playoffs return yards, 5th all-time. 1st at retirement
118 – Career receiving touchdowns, the most in history. Only one of two players to top 100
64 – Career playoff catches, 7th all-time. 3rd at retirement
9 – Career playoff receiving TDs, 2nd all-time
3 – Career kickoff return TDs, 7th all-time. 4th at retirement
2 – Career playoff kickoff return TDs, 1st all-time
2 – Years leading the league in receiving TDs (2020, 2021)
2 – Wide Receiver of the Year awards (2023, 2025)
1 – Years leading the league in kickoff return yards (2021)
1 – Years leading the league in kickoff return TDs (2021)
1 – Rookie of the Year award (2018)
1 – Offensive Rookie of the Year award (2018)

This stats are easily HOF worthy. The real question is are they GOAT worthy.
