The goal for graders is to not have articles sit with no replies for more than 7 days. The last ungraded article's last reply is 7/13. So yes the graders are currently on the goal that was set for them. If you have a problem with the system, why don't propose a solution instead of just lazily bitching about the problem? I did post a solution. In this very thread. It was only an hour ago, though, so maybe your goal was to not bother considering it until it's been ignored for over a week. Here it is again: "I get that you've gotten some players overestimating the value of their pending work, but instead of cutting this off cold turkey, couldn't we instead say that you simply can't go below ZERO for gear, but still allow pending work? This would ensure that no one came close to the -2 million cut off." Bank "Credit" Announcement - Grapehead - 07-20-2017 (07-20-2017, 11:28 PM)kckolbe Wrote:I did post a solution. It will never be graded instantly but that seems excessive. Bank "Credit" Announcement - kckolbe - 07-20-2017 (07-20-2017, 07:35 PM)Grapehead Wrote:That just overcomplicates thing in my opinion. Maybe the one week rule should only be applied to press conferences? With those, at least, replies may affect the finished product. Plenty of solutions were offered and it seems you are fine with how things are going while several arent. I have 4.3 million worth of articles posted so i should be able to claim them for equipment purposes. Otherwise they will sit for a minimum of 7 days or more if someone wants to comment on it 3 days later, making me wait a total of 10 days before i can claim my earned cash to apply tpe. Sorry but it doesn't make sense and that is why no other sim league works like that. Bank "Credit" Announcement - ErMurazor - 07-20-2017 Could we not just mark and article as graded but keep them all in one section? A grader could come along, edit the bottom of the article and put "PROCESSED" or whatever. And they can all be in the same spot, regardless of how many comments they have or if they've been graded. If somebody doesn't want something graded, they could note that. Im not asking for instantaneous especially with the amount of players and articles but i dont think asking for a 3 to 5 day period all that much. And if so hire more graders. Plenty of people will be happy to claim job pay. A couple posts back I said I was working on the specifics for Grapehead's proposed solution. And I am trying to think it through and see other suggestions, before we jump to a new system just for the sake of jumping to a new system as quickly as possible. To be fair it was rushed changing the rule as far as not being able to claim equipment with pending media. A decision that is extremely unfavorable especially with a shit load of brand new members. Many of which can be fickle. Bank "Credit" Announcement - adam2552 - 07-20-2017 (07-20-2017, 10:41 PM)ErMurazor Wrote:Could we not just mark and article as graded but keep them all in one section? This would be challenging for the graders to know where to start grading. Articles would get lost in the shuffle. I think the best option was Grapeheads suggestion of having a thread for players to post when their article is ready for grading. Puts the onus on the author to request the grading. Graders can go post by post, grading the articles. |
