Since I am mentioned, I will only say this:
I reached out to HO ans informed them I would be happy to take the team if a suitable candidate or candidates were not found. I applied by myself and was going to do a hiring post if I got the job. HO informed me they were confident in another group about 30 minutes prior to the announcement that Frick and Hall had been hired. I am confident that they can rebuild the team well.
