After my old high school coach had to step down due to allegations of him saying that mild buffalo was the best BWW sauce, I was contacted by my old school to take over the reigns as head coach of the football team. Considering the only thing I was doing at the time was competing for a playoff spot with the Copperheads, I graciously accepted the offer. First things first: out with the old, in with the new. Instead of running the triple option or the west coast or something boring like that, I decided to instate the greatest offensive playstyle in football: air raid. Quick relievers, a guy who can sling it, running backs and OLine don't matter. I wanted to tell my players about the success I had in the ISFL. But at that point, I had been 5 year vet with no playoff appearances or awards. So I instead told them what it was like to almost make it and they seemed to be fine with that. Game day. Things were going great. We were scoring touchdown after touchdown after flurries of bombs. When all of the sudden, I realized I forgot to do anything to our defense. With less than a minute left, the score was 75-73 with our opponents in the lead. We had no defense and we needed a stop. We were able to force third down, somehow, when a miracle happened. The opposing QB took the snap when all of the sudden, his pants fell down. He immediately dropped the ball in order to cover his crotch. One of the defensive guys recovered it and brought it in for 6. I taught them the old "stealing the QB's belt" trick well.

My first act as head coach would be to bring the whole team to McDonald's and buy them happy meals. However, before any of them ate, they would all have to tell me their favorite color. Then each player had to go around correctly say everyone's favorite color. This is to help build team chemistry as well as understanding between the players. However, if they got any color wrong, they didn't get the toy in their happy meal. I would then give out the first happy meal to the star quarterback. This guy was a big hotshot jock, you know the deal. He'd grab a fry and put it in his mouth. I would then smack him on the back of the head with a hamburger and say "Is this the trash you're all feeding yourselves?" I would do this to keep the team on their toes and ready for any situation. They would not be fed. I'd them take them out to the practice field. I would implement my classic system: the 2 QB shotgun. It's like a normal 4 wide shotgun formation with a running back, except the running back is the backup quarterback. I would teach the team my signature play, called “The Ship of Theseus.” The ball would be snapped to the quarterback, who would then lateral it backwards to the other quarterback, and they would do this back and forth, moving backwards down the field, distracting the defense, while the rest of the offense forms a wide circle around the best wide receiver. Once the circle is formed, the quarterback with the ball which pitch a high pass to the middle of the circle for the wide receiver, and the rest of the offense would guide the "ship" down the field. If a player had to disengage from the circle to block, then the players around him would come together and shrink the circle. This would be repeated for infinite touchdowns for an easy win. It would be beautiful win, perhaps even record setting at the high school level.

I would then be promptly kicked off the team for my horrible treatment of the players. I would fashion a statue of myself and send it to the school, who would promptly dispose of it.

Blago Kokot is a man of mystery. All he knows is kicking the ball. Fine details around this beautiful game do not interest him as much, so in that sense, Kokot would be a better fit in some kind of assistant coach or specialist role. Having said that, Kokot is still a solid option to coach the team since Kokot is strong mentally. The road to where Kokot is now was full of obstacles that many thought would prevent Kokot from ever playing in ISFL, but still, he made it. That fact alone is enough to bring certain weight to whatever Kokot is saying.

Inspiring the players will be easy. Kokot looks like the Hitman. Even if some refuse to take his words to their hearts at first, simply looking at Kokot for a while will bring feelings of fear into the minds of even the toughest of players.

The players will be so afraid to let Kokot down that they will do their best on the field. That is all Kokot can ask. He knows that if everybody will do their best and gives 100% in the effort, it's only a matter of time before everything clicks.

Kokot would consider taking the job only after his playing career is over.

The call came out of the blue, a new number but L'Gazzy recognised the area code.  Wayne County High School needed an emergency coach and there was only one man for the job; ex pupil and current ISFL star L'Gazzy Burfict.  It would be a busy week.

The first thing L'Gazzy looked to do was some cardio training.  Sure, the War Eagles were a pretty lousy football team this year but if they could out run the opposition they would have a chance of ending the season respectably.

Next he looked to inspire the players and give them some fire to want to win, even if they were struggling.  For this he got his old QB Jay Cue on the line to give a motivational speech and the group really responded well.  Cue took them theogh his career, his highs and lows, and had even given L'Gazzy a pack of signed photos to hand out.

Following this, L'Gazzy did a little one on one work with each of the players, the only way he knew how... by inviting them all for the Oklahoma drill.  He took it easy of course, relatively anyway. But he wanted to make sure the team were tough enough to face anyone.

Come game day, the mood in camp was positive and the team was fired up.  Energy levels were high, although some players were a little bruised from the weeks drills.  L'Gazzy looked to be more fired up than most, worryingly.

Unfortunately things didnt go to plan on the field.  L'Gazzy may be a great player, but he was a terrible coach.  The plays were all over the place and the War Eagles suffered humiliation in front of their home fans against their closest rivals.  He wasn't invited back to coach there again.
