A lot of it is older people from up north coming down in the winter. The "locals" referred to them as "snow birds." I only lived there through 3 winters, but you didn't want to drive during that time.

This happens here in the south east as well. The second anything starts coming form the sky, even if it's not sticking, people freak out and completely forget how to drive lol

Are exhibition games not allowed in the demo version? I didn't use it as much when I was just on demo, but i got the full version.
At least in full version you can run unlimited exhibition games, so the 2 season cutoff would effectively not matter a lick...
