(S6) - Weekend PT 3 - Storm Prep - iamslm22 - 03-05-2018 Snow is something that Avon Blocksdale is used to. Growing up in Brooklyn New York Avon was used to having snow every winter. But then Avon went to college and had to deal with the weather in State College Pennsylvania when he went to PSU for college football. Avon has dealt with snow storms the same way since he was young. He would stock up on food. He gets tons of canned food and snacks. We talking Campbell's soup, we talking pizza rolls, we talking pizza bagels. Avon is a huge eater and not much of a chef so if he's not gonna venture out in the middle of a snow storm, Avon's gotta be stacked up on tons of snacks too. He gets chex mix, M and Ms, various candy bars. Although Avon is a QB he used to be an offensive line man and he still eats like one. Avon is ready for the snow. 157 (S6) - Weekend PT 3 - Storm Prep - JBLAZE_THE_BOSS - 03-05-2018 ![]() (S6) - Weekend PT 3 - Storm Prep - Bzerkap - 03-05-2018 Honestly I make sure I’m well stocked and ready to go for all emergencies. I keep tons of canned food and dried meals. I’m a big camper so I have a pack ready to go and can survive for a decent portion of time if I need to. I’ll probably learn to hunt soon so I can shoot anyone trying to take my stuff and kill some animals for meat. I mean, the zombie apocalypse is no joke. I’ll probably be a lone wolf, going out there and just straight killing fools. Leaving their bodies behind so the zombies get distracted. Stupid zombies kill a lot of the animals too, which sucks cuz ya know they’re already dead. Save some of that meat for me ya assholes. Anyway, I’ve got my pack pretty well set up and once I get this rifle I’ll be good to go. Nobody is gonna come between me and survival. Not even a well intentioned citizen just trying to survive, I’ll kill them too. (S6) - Weekend PT 3 - Storm Prep - Oles - 03-05-2018 Written: Must Include 150 Words. You can't expect sunshine and clear weather all the time, sometimes you'll run into a nor'easter or a blizzard or anything of the sort. As such you should be prepared for events like this, write about the preparations you make, whether it's hoarding food for yourself or helping the community in some way. Oles has grown up in hurricanes, blizzards, nor’easters, even an earthquake at one point. All this variety of weather has helped him figure out a good way to prepare for storms of the sort, whether it’s a blizzard that brings 2 feet of snow, or a nor’easter knocking down trees around him. Now what is this plan, well, and it might be a bit anti-climactic, but the plan is nothing really out of the ordinary. Yes you want to have flashlights ready, extra batteries, ways to charge electronic devices such as phones, but other than that, unless you want a generator, there’s really nothing different. Most storms won’t last a long period of time, and typically, at least in the Oles household, there was always enough food to make it until the storm was over, and since there was always a truck, or a vehicle that can traverse the snow in the household, whenever they needed supplies after they could go get them. The Oles family always has bottles of water for various events, so there was always something to drink available if needed. There was always enough non-perishable food available that we’d have the ability to make it through any storm as long as nothing happened to the house itself. (211 words) |
