I think Skarsgard could really be one hell of a all-purpose fullback. You know, like one of those guys that was like the fifth tight end on the depth chart and so they made him the fullback? Run the ball in short yardage and goal line situations. Catch swing passes out of the backfield for short yardage conversions through the air. Throw some really killer blocks to spring the halfback for a big play downfield. Thorian is built like a tight end, big and broad. He's got decent hands for a linebacker, and has enough strength that he could probably put a defensive end on his ass really quick.
Now, if I had to create a player all over again, I think I'd go with a running back. I would want to try the offensive side of the ball after having a defensive player. It seems to me that running back is the way to go in this league, with many teams really relying on a strong running game to move the ball. I think my choice of archetype would be all-purpose back. That way, I could really rack up some serious yardage and grab a handful of touchdowns to boot. No one remember this when I go to recreate in the distant future.
