(S13) - PT 3 - NSFL Appreciation Week - Saliva^ - 02-24-2019 I have nothing much say about this league so GOMHL PT (S13) - PT 3 - NSFL Appreciation Week - Renrut - 02-24-2019 I am currently in four leagues, and each clearly has its level of dedication that I am committing my time towards. The NSFL is in the top half of that list, and currently lands in the second spot. Football has always been a passion of mine, and football leagues will always hold a special part in my heart. I was not sure what to expect when I headed over here, but I have found it be pleasant. There are always going to be negatives and positives in each of these leagues, so at first I didn't really care for the forum layout, and the vibe some members gave off. With time, you will eventually come to get over this stuff and grow to love it. Playing for the Hawks has been an awesome time and everyone involved with that organization has been great to talk with, and play with. I am beyond ecstatic that we won a championship during my time here, and we should have won multiple, but sometimes things do not go your way, and that is okay because we have all had fun doing it. Playing QB for them has been another fun experience and while we are having an extreme down year this season, I still look forward to helping them be a vital part in a rebuild. I would not trade it for the world. It was awesome being the best team in the league for so long, and it made me feel like I had really done something impressive. In the end, all my sense of accomplishment was taken away by like half my team being Er multis, but it was fun while it lasted. Another one of my favorite things was our HO group back in the day. Me, slm, Dermot, Bayley, and AP were the total bros. It helped that we really got to take over in a simple time for the league, and most things were just upkeep and we could do silly stuff and still get work done. Of course now all of the friendships have really gone by the wayside and HO has changed, but it was fun while it lasted. My last favorite thing was the Fourth and Long podcast I did with AsylumParty for a while. I had done podcasts before, but this was definitely one of my favorite ones. me and AP made a pretty good team I think, and it was cool. Now we dont do it and AP is basically inactive boyo, but it was fun while it lasted. Moral of the story, this league will ruin literally everything you love eventually (S13) - PT 3 - NSFL Appreciation Week - pazuzu - 02-24-2019 The NSFL has been a great experience and I have loved every minute in both the DSFL and my tenure for San Jose. I have also made many great friends with this experience that I may not have gotten a chance to talk to in other sim leagues. I really appreciate CKroyal for drafting me on San Jose and helping me along the way along and a special thanks for Muford as well for all the tags in the locker room to help keep me active. Also keeping up with some other friends like Andrew since he was originally on my team in New York, for the PBE. Now I still get to bother him and complain that he left us to coach stinky Utah in two different chats! However, one of my favorite things about the people a part of San Jose, is how they still play shitty games like Heroes of the Storm all the time, like there is better games like Fortnite or Barbie’s Princess palace. For real though, I like that I can easily find something in common with anyone here in the league or in the locker room, whether it be Keygan using me for Pokémon trades or just some cheeky soccer banter, I am always having a good time.
