(S13) - Ultimus Week - sapp2013 - 03-09-2019 ![]() With being the center piece to the liberty offense for the past 3 seasons, why did you choose to test free agency? - Well, I want to preface this by saying I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Philly and I had so much fun playing there. I'll always remember my days in Philly fondly, and appreciate how the front office took a chance on the kid from Pahokee. That being said, I want to win. I didn't see myself winning in Liberty colors in the near future, which is why I decided to opt out and test free agency. I'm getting older, and I want to be able to get a ring before I end up croaking, and Baltimore is the place where I'm going to get one. Do you think players that test free agency help or hurt their career reputation? - I think players should have plenty of freedom as to where they want to play. It's a business, and if I want to work somewhere else, I should be able to. This shouldn't hurt anybody's career reputation. With joining the Baltimore Hawks, a team known for their historically great Runningbacks, do you think you are hiding under someone's shadow, or are you trying to outshine those that came before you? - Neither. I'm trying to continue a legacy here in Baltimore. I'm my own person, I don't care who came before me, during me, or after me. I'm gonna keep doing my thing. Look, Taylor was a legendary runningback. Me and him had our beef on the field but he's nothing but class. I want my number next to his in that wing of honor though, and continue the legacy of greatness here in Baltimore. What is one difference that you have seen in joining the Hawks that either wasn't present or you did not see enough of with the liberty? - Well I think the overall team is much different. We have a legit squad, and I've never been more confident in saying that. Everywhere you look, you see talent on the field. From the offensive side to the defensive side. What is more important for you to see in the upcoming season: an ultimus win, or a career high in stats? - Ultimus win, easily. It's all about the big game at the end. My stats don't matter if I'm not winning. (S13) - Ultimus Week - SwagSloth - 03-09-2019 1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime Time to shill for the Home Team. The Arizona Outlaws should have been the Ultimus champions this season. What’s that? You’re not buying? Okay, sure, that’s fair. But next season… probably not buying that, either, huh? Yeah, I don’t blame you. But the season after the next, teams better watch out. Despite trying to trade away literally every non-kicker player with over 600 TPE and somehow still only having enough cap space left to afford rubber garbage cans in the place of offensive linemen, Arizona will arise from the rumble that is its own management decisions and somehow stumble into mediocrity. And then, from there, stumble again into a successful season. Of course, you can point out things like the team’s use of Linebackers as second-rate defensive linemen or how the team doesn’t even have a QB. But we all know QBs are overrated. And besides this is S16 we’re talking about. Football is an ever-evolving game. In 2 seasons, teams might not even need QBs anymore. It’s all hypothetical at this point. Anything can happen. And, of all the things that could possibly happen, this is one of them. (207) 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - Can be completed anytime Alright, I managed to simultaneously shill for the home team and also roast my own GMing decisions. In comparison to that, paying credit to a young, deserving player should be pretty easy. Now, everyone’s going to obviously go with the winning team. I prefer to go the other way and highlight a young player from the losing team, but everyone knows the Yeti don’t actually have any young players, so someone from OCO it is. Personally, I’d like to highlight Thorian Skarsgard. Because, in addition to having a badass name that sounds like he drinks vodka out of his enemies’ skulls, the man is a complete team player. He started out as a Linebacker and position changed to Defensive Lineman. That literally is only supposed to work the other way. DEs and DTs only exist to make LBs look good. Look at Arizona in S11. We had 3 awesome D-linemen. All of our stats sucked and Alex Selich looked like a damn god. Meanwhile, the guy who’s named after a god decides, hey, I want to make other people look good. That’s pretty damn cool. Obviously, as any GM knows from testing, D-Line can make or break a team. Their impact is huge. But it’s also kind of invisible. So, props to Thor for doing good by his guys and being a team player. This is a move that probably not only helped OCO win the big game, but also helped them reach the game. Afterall, we were all blown away when they overcame the odds and defeated the 12-2 Sabercats en route to the championship. Moves like this are a big reason for that. (288) 3)PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME - Can be completed before or after based on choice Well, post, of course. It’s always better to give your opinion on things after they happen. If you try to talk about things before they happen, you might slip up and make people realize you don’t know what’s going on. Hindsight is 20/20. And, in hindsight, we’re all geniuses. FYI I totally called the Otters winning this year. Don’t go back and check my predictions. You can just take my word on it. As for the Ultimus, it was really, close competitive game! I’m not even joking. It was actually fun to watch. It got lop-sided at points, but never stayed out of reach for long. Colorado even scored first blood, kicking a field goal to pick up the only points in the 1st Quarter. OCO then responded with a field goal of their own in the 2nd quarter and a TD to follow it. With 2 minutes left, Colorado rallied itself with the heart of a champion. But not like an active champion in their prime. More like a champion that won the big one 30 years ago and now eats 5 donots every day for breakfast. So, not exactly the best heart. But a heart nonetheless. They don’t score a TD, but they do get the FG. Solid C+ effort. OCO is up 10-6 at half. Now, you might think Colorado would be hyped up for a TD to start the 3rd quarter and possibly swing this thing in their favor. And they did their best to ensure that a TD happened. Unfortunately, they forgot they were on defense, which pushed the Otters’ lead from 4 to 11. Ouch. But then Colorado remembered how to football and picked a big drive that resulted in Howard Miller scoring a huge TD. And not normal huge. Like huge with air quotations and in a way that sounds like it starts with a Y instead of an H. Big time huge. Of course, OCO has also superhumans for RBs, so Seer Zephyrous literally just picked up the ball and pushed it in the end zone to take back that 11 point lead, which is unfortunate, but I guess that’s what we get from a guy named after the wind. Now, with only 8 minutes left, Colorado taps into that old, retired champion heart and once again send Howard Miller to the end zone. Now, with 1 minute left and with them only being down 3 points, the Yeti kick an onside kick. It’s risky, but what other choice do they have? Against all odds, they recover the ball. The crowd goes crazy. They have a chance to score a FG and tie it up. But Howard Miller is a man possessed. He doesn’t even know what a FG is. So, with five defenders at his flank, he catches the ball and takes it down the field to win the game for the Yeti. They did it! The all in strategy worked! The Yeti are finally champions! Wait a minute. Sorry. I’m checking my notes and it says the sim punted the ball. Sorry, Yeti. Grats, Otters? (538) 5) ENEMIES HAPPEN - Can be completed anytime. You might notice I was going in order. Next up was something stupid like QB match-ups or some other irrelevant topic. And we already established in the first question that QB isn’t an important position, anyway. You might as well compare to FBs. Or kick returners. Or pineapples. No one’s going to bother reading it, anyway. So, instead… enemies happen. Wait, no. Let me use my tough voice… ENEMIES HAPPEN!!! This time, on March 6th inside a STEEL CAGE!!! $20 gets you a whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge. And, for some reason, it seems like everyone hates the Sabercats. I’m not fully why, but I already gave the Yeti a hard time and they made it to the championship, so they’re obviously better than the Sabercats. These guys did go 12-2, so maybe everyone else is just jealous. Then again, looking at that record, no one is probably more jealous of the regular season Sabercats than the play-off Sabercats are. That said, since no one seems to know exactly why we hate them, I decided to do some digging. And I learned a few things that changed my mind. You’d think that the Sabercats have brought this upon themselves, but in actuality, it’s far from their fault. It’s just their nature. For example, OCO and SJS are clear rivals, but Sabercats and Otters are natural enemies. Like Hawks and Sabercats! Or Yeti and Sabercats! Or Wraiths and Sabercats! Or Sabercats and Sabercats! Damn Sabercats! They ruined the Sabercats! I hope they don’t read this. I may have just made an enemy for life. (286) (S13) - Ultimus Week - Jonstradamus - 03-09-2019 PBE PT (S13) - Ultimus Week - Bwestfield - 03-09-2019 PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME - Can be completed before or after based on choice. Written: Write a 200-word preview or review on one of the Conference Championship Games or Ultimus Games. Let’s take a moment and talk about this years Ultimus game. This years matchup is the Orange County Otters vs the Colorado Yeti. The Yeti have been held out of the Ultimus game since the inaugural season. Meanwhile the Otters have been dominant and have already won 5! The Otters key to winning is maintaining the talent by keeping them around long term and signing new additions who also stick around for a long time. It is their ability to keep players going and active for so long that keeps them in the playoffs and Ultimus championship games from year to year. The Yeti have taken another approach. Colorado has been hit so hard from poor management in the past and controversies that put a stain on their reputation that a lot of players won't play there. The new management has gone the way of the old and went all in selling their future for today. This time like many others, it has not paid dividends. Now the Yeti must cope with the loss and look for a way to rebuild without losing most of the talent they have acquired in free agency with little to no draft picks. Congratulations Orange County on your fifth win and perhaps some other teams will see what you are doing right and take a page from your book. QUARTERBACK MATCHUP - Can be completed anytime Written: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What are you most excited to see (Or excited to have seen), who will play better (Or who played better), etc. This year the Colorado Yeti played the Philadelphia Liberty in the division playoffs. The result of the game was largely attributed the play of the two Quarterbacks, Micycle McCormick and Adriana Falconi respectively. Micycle played a very respectable game throwing 4 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and 230 yards. Both the yards and interceptions left something to be desired, however getting 4 touchdowns is quite an accomplishment. What put him aside was his ability to run, racking up 114 yards. He wasn’t able to score but he did set them up nicely for scores and first downs. Adriana was basically the opposite quarterback. She threw for 2 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, and 248 yards. Her legs didn’t do anything either only getting 7 yards. That is to be expected though as she is not mobile like McCormick. They were certainly the deciding factors in this game as the runners also seemed to be stifled for Philadelphia. It will be interesting to see what changes the Liberty make in order to counteract this poor performance. Perhaps adding some depth at wide receiver or getting Adriana some more training with her legs so she doesn’t stand in the pocket for too long and make poor decisions. Next season will tell if they have learned from their mistakes or maintain status quo. Sit-down with a star:Interview a player from a team that is not your own that is in the playoffs. You must ask them four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way. YOU MUST POST THE QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS FOR CREDIT. (Can be completed at any point) 1.) You seem to have a bit of a gunslinger in Gus out there. You have one of the most potent passing offenses in the league. He posted the most passing touchdowns in the league, but also the most interceptions. Do you plan on making any changes this year to adjust what you do or are you taking the “don’t mess with success” approach? Don’t mess with success, baby. Yes we had a lot of turnovers and Gus didn’t have his best season, but Orange County has been an air raid offense for a long time and when something works this well you sure as hell don’t try to fix it. As always we’ll try to improve our players at every level, but for all the risks Gus takes we seem to come out ahead more times than not so he has the green light to keep doing his thing out there. 2.) Ricky Adams has been amazing for you in the passing game but has come up a little short in the run game. Has he expressed any interest that you know of for more touches? Ricky has been amazing, without a doubt. He’s always been a gifted pass catcher but he really excelled in his limited rushes this past season. We’ve got a lot of offensive talent in the pipes so it’s definitely possible that we start to let Ricky carry the rock a bit more going forward. But he’ll remain an integral part of the passing attack because he’s just too good there. 3.) With Carlito starting to signs of aging and Tegan retiring last year, do you think Gus and Sunnycursed will be able to maintain this “slaughterhouse” pass attack? No doubt in my mind that we can keep this up. Yeah Carlito is approaching his twilight years, but we’ve got Django Anoa’i coming up from Kansas City and Johnny Blaze coming from Portland. Both guys are big bodied targets who should fit in nicely next to our field stretchers in Crush and Sunnycursed. And that totally neglects the roles of guys like Ricky Adams, Zeph, and Glenn McPoyal. So we still feel good going forward. 4.) Now that you have a recipe for success is there anyone you don’t want to face in the Ultimus? I think we feel confident in our chances against any team, anywhere, any time. I think San Jose still represents a pretty serious threat, but we obviously share a conference with them. Otherwise, the Hawks have made some pretty nice moves but we aren’t going to start doubting ourselves now. ENEMIES HAPPEN - Can be completed anytime. Written: Not everyone loves each other, write 200 words on an opposing player or player in this year's Ultimus playoffs about how they will struggle, why do you want them to lose? (Don't be too mean). I had this wonderful story written up about Yulic Nagasawa and Errol Maddox but I have since erased it as they were not in the playoffs. So now I will regale you with a story about Ricky Adams. The running back who couldn't run. I watched a lot of football this year and a lot of players have been disappointing. None like Ricky Adams. When I draft a player in fantasy I want someone who can do it all, I want the runner and the catcher. The late Antonio Summer comes to mind. RIP. Ricky is a wide receiver who sometimes lines up in the backfield. I need to know when he has a bad day receiving or his quarterback has a bad day through the air I can rely on the ground game getting me some points. I understand that the Orange County Otters are a heavy pass team and that they won the Ultimus Championship this year but I am talking purely fantasy football here. I always want to be on the top of the fantasy rankings with my team especially when I am going against someone that I need to catch up in TPE. If I do well and he doesn’t it allows me to make a small effort towards beating him. So fix it! (S13) - Ultimus Week - Mavfatha - 03-09-2019 Last week's PBE PT This week's SHL PT 1) It is our time next year Well we already lost somehow this year despite having a dominant 12-2 regular season where we both scored the most points and gave up the fewest... so that's basically why I think we'll finally manage to bring the trophy to San Jose next season. Our offense has been growing together with Christ behind center, Canton and Orosz splitting RB duties, and the likes of Flash, Oles, and Brannigan catching passes. It's a strong young core that doesn't really even need much if anything to complement it. We also have a formidable CB tandem in Poopsie and Troyski to kick off the defensive side of things, along with legendary names such as Deringer, Pennington, Horne, Pennington, Tuck, and Staley. Plus some scrub DT named Freezer Riposte who doesn't do much of anything out there during games. Anyways throw all of these guys together plus our ace kicker Neo Donaldson and you have a team that everyone should be scared of. I really expect it to all come together this upcoming season as we continue our domination of the regular season and finally put it together in the playoffs. Oh yeah, we also brought in one of the more coveted FA's this offseason in my good friend Footballer Sackerman, who should really show up Riposte this season. 3) Post game of the ASFC conference championship Ladies and gentlemen, we once again find ourselves with the Otters and the Sabercats going toe to toe in the conference championship matchup. Both teams really struggled to find room to run the ball against some stout defensive fronts, as the Otters were held to just 46 yards on the ground against 92 for the Cats. This game was going to come down to who could perform better through the air, and though Christ did the best he could, giving away a costly interception gave the Otters the chance to push ahead, and they did just that in coming away with a 31-21 victory. Ricky Adams was really impressive for the team's offense, combining for 140 total yards from scrimmage and scoring 2 touchdowns. Freezer Riposte was useless as always for the Sabercats, only managing one tackle and not affecting the game in any meaningful way. Meanwhile some of his Otters friends like Danny Grithead and Thorian Skarsgard managed five tackles each while both sacking Christ as well, really making Riposte feel like an idiot. Also a shoutout to T. Tim on the Otters offensive line; the dude managed to pancake the Sabercats (probably mostly Riposte) 11 freaking times. This was a tough one overall for Sabercats fans out there, especially after the team had a lead early on but blew it as the game went along. (S13) - Ultimus Week - terriblehippo - 03-09-2019 3) POST-GAME: Write a 200-word review on one of the Conference Championship Games or Ultimus Games.--224 words The NSFL championship game was an incredibly fun game to watch, especially for someone new to the league. It was a back and forth affair for most of the game, and it wasn’t until the third quarter that Orange County managed to pull away. Even then, Colorado kept nipping at their heels and made it an exciting game. With just over a minute left to play, Colorado scored a touchdown and succeeded on a two-point conversion to get within a field goal of Orange County. But an interesting decision by the sim to have Colorado kick the ball away, instead of attempting the onside kick, sealed the game for the Otters. All in all, it was an exciting game of football, and exactly what one would hope to see in a championship game. I know not every game is nearly as fun to watch, but as someone who had never seen an NSFL game live before, it was a good introduction to the league. It was disappointing to see the sim effectively hand the game to Orange County in the final seconds, however, and I can only imagine what that felt like for the Colorado players and fans. But, as the saying goes, there’s always next year--and, if this upcoming DSFL draft class has anything to say about it, the future is bright indeed. 4) QUARTERBACK MATCHUP: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What you are most excited to see (or excited to have seen), who will play better (or who played better), etc.--216 words The quarterback play in the NSFL championship game was quite thrilling to watch. Both quarterbacks--Colorado’s Micycle McCormick and Orange County’s Gus Showbiz--put on a show for the fans. McCormick threw for almost three hundred yards, but needed fifty attempts to do it. Showbiz was much more efficient, throwing for two hundred and fifty yards on thirty-six attempts. Part of Orange County’s success was Showbiz’s ability to find a man downfield--he hit six different receivers, and his completions were pretty evenly spread among them. McCormick, on the other hand, had two or three clear favorites. Those receivers racked up great yardage, but with Colorado’s difficulty running the ball, it wasn’t enough to put the Yeti on top. At the end of the day, this game was an example of just how important it is to have a good quarterback leading the offense. Colorado ended up losing the game, yes, but McCormick’s ability to keep cool under pressure allowed them to keep the game close--his second touchdown throw came on fourth and five, with just over a minute left to play. If not for an interesting decision by the sim late in the fourth quarter, this game could have had an entirely different outcome. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on both of these quarterbacks in Season 14. That Magic Moment: Pick one moment from a playoff game and describe what made it so amazing to watch.--213 words If I had to pick one moment, I would have to say Alfredo “Thighmaster” Crisco’s 42-yard field goal with 27 seconds left to play in the DSFL championship game, which tied the game and forced overtime. As someone watching his first DSFL game live, it was thrilling to be in the chat as the game went on, and even more thrilling when regulation time expired and the game went to overtime. Having the stakes be so high and the margin of error so slim made for a great game to watch. It was exactly what you want out of a championship match, and it just reaffirmed my decision to be a part of this community. Of course, all of this is coming from someone who was unbiased and had no stake in the game. I can only imagine what it felt like for someone playing in the game to watch their entire season come down to overtime. However, if I can be a little cheesy, the whole championship night was amazing to watch. It was great to experience the games with the rest of the community, and to know that soon I’ll get to be a part of the community and (hopefully) cheer on my player and my team in the big game. Unsung Hero: Who was the unsung hero of the playoffs, convince us.--230 words My unsung hero of the DSFL playoffs is Luchadores kicker Stephen Harris, Jr. The projected top eight pick was a key factor in Tijuana’s march to the DSFL title. In the conference championship game against San Antonio, he was perfect on extra points and kicked three field goals, the longest of which was a fifty-six yarder at the end of the first half. That kick put the Luchadores up by ten, and took the momentum out of the Marshals’ 10-0 run in the second quarter (the Marshals wouldn’t score another point for the rest of the game). In the title game he was cool as a cucumber, going a perfect three for three on extra points, and hitting another three field goals. One of those field goals came in overtime, as Harris nailed a thirty-five yard attempt to win the big game for Tijuana. And as a punter, he was the definition of reliable: he kicked four punts for one hundred and eighty-seven yards in the conference championship game, and four punts for one hundred and eighty-eight yards in the title game. That kind of consistency in these high-pressure scenarios is exactly what you want from your kicker, if not from all of your players. He is a great talent, and these DSFL playoffs perfectly encapsulate why Stephen Harris, Jr. will be a top pick in next season’s NSFL draft. (S13) - Ultimus Week - Symmetrik - 03-09-2019 PBE PT (S13) - Ultimus Week - Pizza-faith - 03-09-2019 QUARTERBACK MATCHUP - Ultimus Bowl Match up ![]() (S13) - Ultimus Week - Beaver - 03-09-2019 5) ENEMIES HAPPEN Yeah so obviously I wanted Philadelphia to lose and wow what a major shock that they did. That was the 11th consecutive time I've beaten Philadelphia, the last time I lost to them was Week 6 of Season 8. Only 5 players currently on their roster existed at the time of that game and only 2 of their current players were playing in the NSFL the last time I lost to Philly - Carter Bush, who was on that Liberty team, and Jack Dwyer, who was on Arizona. Week 6 of Season 8 was streamed on the 8th of June so the last time I lost to Philadelphia Anthony Bourdain's death was the biggest headline, Fyre Festival's catastrophe was only a month old, Kevin Durant was named MVP of the Finals after the Warriors finished their sweep of the Cavs, Solo: A Star Wars Story was the Number One film in the United States (and it was the day Ocean's 8 was released), "This Is America" was the most streamed song and "Nice For What" was the Number One single. On the 8th of June we lived in a world in which The Incredibles 2 and BlacKkKlansman didn't yet exist, nor did "Kamikaze," but we did live in a world in which me losing to Philadelphia wasn't a huge surprise which honestly might be the craziest fact of all. Sit-down with a star:Interview a player from a team that is not your own that is in the playoffs. You must ask them four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way. YOU MUST POST THE QUESTIONS AND THEIR ANSWERS FOR CREDIT. (Can be completed at any point) I interviewed Versa L'Alto who played for the Yeti in the playoffs Quote:1. DiMirio currently leads tight ends in Catches (1110), Receiving Yards (11522), and Receiving Touchdowns (72) - how many of these do you think you can break and which record(s) would you most like to set? Sit-down with a fan:Answer questions for an interview from a player that is not your own. You must answer at least four questions and at least three must relate to the league in some way. Link to the interviewers PT to receive credit. NOTE: THEY MUST POST THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR YOU TO GET CREDIT. (Can be completed at any point) 1. What are the goals for your new player? Personally and professionally. My ideal career (somewhat realistic) would be something like: be a part of the best rushing offenses in league history, be a part of multiple sackless seasons (or at least allow the fewest sacks in a season in league history), win a lot of games, and win some championships. Personally of course I don't really have any goals since I chose to play Offensive Line, it's about helping the unit rise to new heights. 2. Why did you choose to play OL? I've never really been a person who rushes to check the index after an update to see my player's stats so the biggest obstacle most people have doesn't exist for me and then a few seasons ago me and Payton were talking in the NOLA discord about recreating as both offensive linemen and being the Bash Bros, just mauling people. It's a fun idea and also most people are like "dOn'T pLaY oFfEnSiVe LiNe" so my natural stubbornness kicked in because of that. Also I think that having a user OL could put a team at a competitive advantage so I'm happy to be that guinea pig. 3. Do you think that there is a true resurgence of OL in the league? Are we seeing a new era in the NSFL and how would it affect the league? I don't think so, not yet at least. We have, what, 5ish in a class of 100 plus 2 from previous drafts? Odds are that 2 seasons from now only 3-4 offensive linemen will still active so I don't think it'll be landscape changing. It'll be up to those of us who survive long enough to max out to show a discernible and significant benefit to having a user OL and if we do that then we might have a resurgence. But not yet. 4. What teams do you see yourself desiring to play for the most? How would your presence impact the team? New Orleans is definitely top of my list, that's where Blackford Oakes played almost his entire career and was by far the best sim league I've been a part of. After that it's muddled. I'd be happy returning to the Hawks or Yeti, I've enjoyed my time on both, and I'd be okay going to the Wraiths or Liberty (though they may not want me considering the immense amount of shit I've talked about them over the seasons). I have no interest in playing for Orange County, Arizona, or San Jose. I can't be competing against my dooters like that season in and season out. I'm not going to hold out or demand a trade or anything no matter where I get drafted but after that first contract those are kind of the tiers of likelihood for whether I'll go to free agency. What I'd bring is a large amount of fucking around. I like chatting in discord because I don't like to work, in fact I'm typing this up right now instead of doing work, so I'll be an active and unserious presence there. Shitposting is my specialty and whenever a conversation starts getting too real I either rein it back in or avoid it. That Magic Moment: Definitely one of the most brutal plays in Ultimus history came with 9:59 left in the 4th quarter because you see at that time the score was Orange County 17 and Colorado 13 so the Yeti were so close to winning their first ever Ultimus in fact this was their first Ultimus appearance since Season 1 and well of course the Otters have been winning a shitload of championships and have a shitload of appearances like they’re what 5 wins and 7 appearances now or something stupid smh my head anyway the Otters had the ball 2nd and 6 at the Yeti 44 and the Yeti needed a stop and a score to take the lead late in the 4th quarter and hey maybe win their first ever Ultimus but instead Gus TT Showbiz completed a pass to Sunnycursed who streaked down the sideline before finally being brought down by Blackford Oakes at the 2 yard line and then the Yeti were able to hold on 1st down but Seer Zephyrous punched it in on 2nd down to give the Otters a 24-13 lead with 8:40 left which basically ended the game and it was so sad because the Yeti tried so hard to push for this championship but came up 3 points short after they scored a touchdown and 2 point conversion on their final possession and then didn’t even try an onside kick because sim gonna sim but it probably didn’t matter because those are very low percentage and it would’ve been difficult to go 60 yards in 60 seconds in this sim so really it was the 42 yard pass that ended the game.
