(S16) - PT1 - NFL - White Cornerback - 07-12-2019 Written Option: Most of us if not all of us are found this league due to our interest in real football. The NFL is a juggernaut and most of us have chosen our renders off real life NFL players. Write about the NFL player that your character models their game off of. Whether you are a diva WR like TO, or a down-to-business guy like Larry Fitz. Write about how their game or personality compares to your player. I decided to make Lavelle Jr's render after Taylor Rapp. Why? Because there's really not a lot of white guys who play in the secondary that aren't Harrison Smith or Eric Weddle. For any of you that follow the NSFL, Smith was the render for Lavelle Sr. and Weddle of course was the render of CB turned QB Tyler Oles. Nobody wants to use Jason Sehorn as their render either because he is much too old. I chose Rapp because he's gonna give me so gifworthy shit for future sigs during his time on the Rams. As to who do I model my recreate after? I modelled Lavelle after kind of a Larry Fitz type just on the other side. Maybe more than Patrick Peterson (pre PED's) of course. For Lavelle Jr. I'd definetly gravitate more towards the attitudes of the Honeybadger or Richard Sherman because Lavelle Jr. is definetly an uppity little shit who talks alot of trash. As for his game its definetly different than Lavelle Sr's. Lavelle was strictly a man to man corner standing at a pretty short 6'0 whereas Lavelle's game differs in that he's strictly a slow as fuck zone corner standing at a lanky as fuck 6'4 build. Lavelle Jr. is a cute and scary man. Being very very good at everything was Emmitt's game and allowed him to thrive under tremendously different situations throughout his career. He wan't the fastest or strongest or shiftiest but had plenty to go on for each and could catch the ball very well to boot. Emmitt was dangerous in every facet of the game. Thus Dick is reliable as hell and able to do what he does over and over again despite a little less flash than some other players. In terms of personality, Dick more closely resembles Baker Mayfield (who his picbase is) as a loud, cocky fratboy sort of figure. The twist of course being that Dick is a tad more controlled in what he says and how he says it and kind of has a more polite bent to him than Baker does, as Baker tends to be a bit more confrontational. Dick as he ages is also getting a bit less loud as time goes on (especially after having one incredibly humbling season). And he'll still keep on running. (S16) - PT1 - NFL - Daybe - 07-12-2019 Jaylen Storm's playstyle closely resembles Minkah Fitzpatrick. If you're not quite familiar with that, the style is similar to Tyrann Mathieu in that he can bring it all (play-making, versatility, quickness). Storm currently starts at cornerback for the Yellowknife Wraiths, which fuel the comparisons, as Minkah has been scouted and plays as both a nickel corner and a safety. Storm has no "preferred position", he's willing to play wherever the coach will tell him to, key in on anyone his team is struggling to deal with, and make himself a jack of all trades. Off the field, Jaylen Storm desires to replicate Jamal Adams' personality/attitude towards the game. Adams is a great leader, as he tends to lead by example and picks his teammates up. However, he does not want to simply walk his teammates through what they need to do. When Adams is not leading in the locker room, his competitive attitude takes over as he is not afraid to get into the face of his opponents and back it up. However, Storm is an avid follower and pays much attention to Earl Thomas III, widely regarded as the best safety in football when he is healthy. When studying his game, he will pick up pointers on positioning and footwork, two things that could be the difference between giving a 75 yard blown play touchdown and an interception. (S16) - PT1 - NFL - Bwestfield - 07-12-2019 James Bishop is a very happy but trouble young man. He can’t seem to let his parents out of his life bubble even though it would benefit them both. Bishop is a lot like Zay Jones of the Buffalo Bills. He is very talented but his mind is a bit off the beaten path. The only difference between the two is drugs. James does not participate in that type of behavior. But if he did it would only spell trouble for his young career just like that of Zay Jones. There is a facade when it comes to the media and his twitter account, only scratching the surface of his roubles beneath. James has been like this most of his life and though it is easy to blame football because of his head trauma, it is a result of poor upbringing. His uncle Ezekiel once a prominent member of the NSFL (even if only a short time (or shortest time if you are checking how long it was)) had a very bad drinking problem and that affected James during his time as a youth. We will leave it at that as you can only surmise the result of a poor career and drinking can do to a person who wants their nephew to do better than they did. (S16) - PT1 - NFL - SwagSloth - 07-12-2019 Andrew Reese is modeled off of Drew Brees. Even the name is a tribute due to its similarity. As a Saints fan, we hold Drew in high regard and I wanted to create a player that would represent him well. Brees is known for being a team player and Reese has a similar attitude, taking team friendly deals and representing himself modestly in interviews and media. Unfortunately, his play on the field has not lived up to the legend as Reese has mostly been a middle-of-the-road QB. After struggling in S14, he did well in comparison to other QBs and was within the average range of the NSFL's QBs, but he has yet to perform on an elite level and this season doesn't seem destined to meet that criteria. It's difficult to know if Reese will ever reach that level, but for now, he continues to work hard at his role and do his best to contribute to the team in a much needed role. Reese only has a few more seasons left before regression, but hopes to continue to play at a high level for as long as possible. Fighting regression will be difficult, but with Arizona's star WR Brock Landers on the rise, hopefully the duo will continue to build chemistry over the course of their careers and accomplish big things together. 225 Words (S16) - PT1 - NFL - TheWoZy - 07-12-2019 ![]() (S16) - PT1 - NFL - JKortesi81 - 07-12-2019 SHL PT (S16) - PT1 - NFL - Bauer - 07-12-2019 PBE PT (S16) - PT1 - NFL - Beaver - 07-12-2019 ty 4 free shit |
