Written Option: This past week in the NFL, we saw a lot of strange reviews and odd calls that affected the outcome of the games. Whether it was reviewing PI calls, putting a second back on the clock, or blowing a game changing play dead, these calls had major effects in the games. If you could overturn one thing, whether it be a game you lost based off a dumb sim decision, a decision you made such as predictions made, or a trade another team made that made them now better than you, what would you overturn?
This is a really interesting question and one that is kind of difficult to answer because I honestly can really think of any given specific situation within the sim that I would like to overturn. More so, when all you can see are just little dots and not actual players it's tough to really discern if something happened or not. I guess that is where the imagination is supposed to kick in, but like I said it's just personally tough for me to do that. I would like to overturn the decision of overturning the resim in week 1 of the regular season. This was a decision that basically took away a win from the copperheads. I get why the resim was reversed, but I don't think it was the correct decision. All teams should have been allowed to play with accurate rosters. I don't think the correct response was "well everyone had mistakes so we're just going to leave it as is". Just because every roster had mistakes doesn't mean the levels of screw up were all equal. Anyway, hopefully this doesn't open up a whole can of worms again, but I think it would benefit the league for something like this to never ever happen again because it was ridiculous to say the very least. #AustinWonWeek1

Well we’ve seen some messed up shit here and in the NFL. And in the season of 2031-32 (Season 16) there were some questionable moments for everyone. I have 2 major ones that I want to talk about for this point task. In number one something that shouldn’t of happened during the Ultimas featuring The Arizona Outlaws and Philadelphia Liberty. During the waning moments of the game it was close throughout The 4th quarter the Liberty were pulling off a successful two minute drill drive. Setting up a 40 yard difference between them and the end zone with 46 seconds left in regulation. After a pass play that Almost went to the end zone the sim acted like that one 35 yard play took all 46 seconds off of the clock and ended the game with the Outlaws getting an unfair win from the sim. Many other people pointed this out and said that it was pretty unfair for Philadelphia as they should’ve had at least 2 more plays to win the game but the sim made a single play last 1 minute something the sim shouldn’t do. If it was a real league I’d be calling for a clock check and try and get Philadelphia those key 28 seconds to try and win the Ultimas

If I could overturn anything, you say? Hmmmm well here's the deal bucko. My memory is real shit. OMG THOUGH I JUST THOUGHT OF ONE. I'll be honest I was gonna just ramble for a while. But if I could overturn *anything*? I'm going back in time and overturning the John J. Johnson led Arizona Outlaws' decision to draft... Ryan.. no uh, Kyle? KEVIN! Kevin Fitzpatrick. I'm overturned the Outlaws drafting of Kevin Fitzpatrick. Why, you ask? Well first of all I take full responsibility for that terrible decision. Twas I, in fact, who was John J. Johnson. In drafting Fitzpatrick, I doomed the Outlaws for the immediate future. The volatile young quarterback was too..... we'll still with "volatile" for his own good. Or for the team's good. There's a reason a max earning quarterback falls into the second round, and it's not because he's a blessing unto your mental stability as a GM. I should've taken heed of the warning signs, but alas I did not. By drafting him, I made Arizona doomed to suffer from his inevitable meltdown. When it came, the perpetually bad Outlaws, who were finally beginning to show signs of improvement once more, fucking suffered a complete tear down and rebuild all over again. Really only Bucky Barnes and a few others made it through. God I wish I hadn't drafted Kevin lmao

Honestly the only thing on my mind is that I would have liked to redo our game versus New Orleans in the current season. For the sole reason that it was a game we let slip away and if we had won it we would have enjoyed home field advantage till the playoff finals. Sadly we saw a lose against them, while also seeing the yellowknife wraiths suffering a loss. With a win of our own we would have jumped the Wraiths for the first seed within the division. Making our play off run chances just that little extra better. Now we face a tough away game, but what if it was a home game.

Just a simple do over, a pass that might go our way this time, a runner who can just squeeze out those extra few miles for a new first down or just a few extra miles that make a field goal a more attractive option. So many posibilities for change in how a game plays out.

I might not be focusing on a particular play, but looking into which games you would like to redo is interesting aswell. Especially games that were close or you were expecting to win.

If I could overturn one thing, it would be the fateful decision made one stormy night where Ruff Ruff was barred entry from participating in Division I of NCAA Football, being relegated to the puppy shelter circuit instead. The whole decision as made based off of a couple of complaining booster club parents, that were unsettled because their children were either losing their spot to a dog, or were made to look silly by trying to tackle him since he was so good. While Ruff Ruff is certainly grateful for all pats and other things he has received in his life, including his participation in the shelter league, one can only imagine the dominant force he would be if he could have honed his talents in a more competitive environment, such as Divison I NCAA Football. Half the time in the shelter league the other team would just sniff each others' butts the minute they started losing. There was also no competitive edge, as Ruff Ruff was getting licked by all of them at the end of the game, SAD! I would have to choose that decision to be the one that gets overturned, since it is arguably one of the worst decisions ever made in collegiate sports history.

Obviously, no single change could possibly be enough to propel the Colorado Yeti to the playoffs; there is a great deal of potential on the team, but it is not yet ready to blossom into a perennial powerhouse. So, instead, if I had a choice to overturn one happenstance from the season behind us, I would flip the result of our game against the New Orleans Second Line. A loss in that game, rather than the win we collected, dramatically alters the order of the draft, putting us in a position where we would select first overall instead of what I have been led to believe will be fourth overall, and gives us an opportunity to add the undisputed top talent of the draft, Bjorn Ironside, to pair alongside Bubba Thumper. With a dynamic duo of defensive tackles clogging the middle, teams would grow to fear running the football against the fearsome Yeti, and the heightened rate of passing would boost Quentin Sinclair's already rising statistical value through the roof. This, of course, would also benefit us down the line, likely allowing us to grab top ten talent twice, and creating for the state of Colorado hope the likes of which it has not yet seen.

As a proud player on the league's greatest team off all time now and forever, The Arizona Outlaws, I would like to see out unbelievable sim results re-simmed because the will forever tarnish this great season in which the team truly deserved to go undefeated. Millions of children will grow up confused as to how the Outlaws lost to the Austin Copperheads in week 2, the same Copperhead team that had never won a game before in their bleak history. Elderly will pass away, haunted by the limitless confusion they felt when the Outlaws, fresh off a six game winning streak versus the leagues best teams, lost to the 1 win New Orleans second Line. The massive stone monuments to the Outlaws that will one day dot the land from coast to coast in this great nation, will forever be silently marred by the stunning loss to the hapless Colorado Yeti franchise as the Outlaws were on the verge of clinching home field advantage for their inevitable Ultimus trophy post season run.

So yes, I think we can all agree that the travesty of losing three games to the basement dwellers of the league is a national crisis and the league must step in to over turn those results and resim the games for posterity's sake. Its the only way to correct the course that just might send this national down a path to its ultimate, untimely destruction. Also, make sure Jammerson Irving has dope stats in those games that will be resimmed. Sweet Thanks HO!

This is actually a real thing that happened here in the NSFL, so buckle up

In S5, the Arizona Outlaws upset the Orange County Otters in the ASFC Championship game in spectacular fashion. It was one of the greatest moments I've ever had in sim leagues. After everything me and the Outlaws had been through, this was incredible. And then, it became one of the worst moments I've ever had in sim leagues, when someone reported that the Outlaws had a very minimal sim error, and HO, which i was a part of at the time, decided to have a resim, which would end up as a blowout victory for the Otters.

If I could go back, I would make more of a campaign in HO for there to not be a re-sim. It was frustrating because the strats were illegal, but should have been corrected long ago, and also noticed by the simmer. The results of the game were not decided by the error, it was incredibly minimal. This was just a once in a sim lifetime event that happened to get turned around. I dont blame timeconsumer for asking for a re-sim, If I was in his position I would have done the same. But I also know that if he was in my position he would have been just as pissed as I was. I think this decision helped lead to many Outlaws players going inactive, and it made me want to go inactive given everything that had happened with ErMurazor, and what was going on in my life, so if i could change something it would be that for sure

One often wishes they could go back in time and change their actions and Tyron Brackenridge is not exempt from this phenomenon. Playing on the Sabercats has left Brackenridge with a few regrets in his play, which honestly could have been better at some points. Brackenridge has taken a few bonehead penalties such as facemask and unnecessary roughness, which can hopefully improve with an increase in intelligence and playing in the league longer. Refs on the other hand should always be correct in their call because they are soulless human beings that should not ever make a mistake and have cost the game at some points for the Saber cats who should arguably win every game because Joilet Christ is number one. But in all seriousness the game is only this good because of the human element that makes mistake because if every single play went according to plan then the game wouldn't be interesting at all. To turn this post to reality thid latest Thursday night NFL game was insanity due to the amount of penalties. At least we can sort of thank the sim we operate on that it doesn't go as crazy as that all too often if at all. In conclusion, the refs are bad and scorp sux
