I mean I hate to be one to complain but I just don't see how you see those stats and put him 11 spots above me.

On a non-meme note I think Bender was the backup for the last 2 games because he was inactive and we had a S2 guy on the roster so it might be based on efficiency (prorate his stats to 12 games) or on the fact that he did it with significantly less TPE (did he update once?). That's just me making the case for him though.

Again, it would be interesting to see everyone's list (though we'd just use it to yell at the committee)

Ernston clocks in high on the inaugural draft list for a couple of reasons. Ernston not only posted fantastic statistics this season, he also provided a terrifying presence on the defensive line that made opposing lineman shake in their shoes. Ernston put up some of the extremely solid stats this season, providing his team with 85 tackles in what will likely be the physical season that sets the bar for him. On top of this he was a tank, knocking loose three balls and recovering all three of them. Twelve sacks also made their way onto his repertoire, strengthened by an interception whilst on the line. The best players are the ones who do not rely on what stat alone to compete, but rather a multitude.

Personally, I also took a look at missed tackles. Harris led DTs with 8 missed tackles, so I bumped him down a bit on my list compared to Bender. Funnily enough, I looked and actually did rank Bender exactly 11 spots ahead of you, but I also had you ranked quite a bit higher than 44. Some of that comes down to what we value in a player at a position, etc.
