Turk Turkleton kicks a 44 yard goal and wins the game for U.C. Davis versus Idaho State.

Fan favorite kicker Turk Turkleton announced earlier this month he will be entering the National Simulation Football League draft.

The 6'4 foot tall kicker, born in Kalamazoo, has played for the U.C. Davis squad for 2 years now. A kicker with a foor which seems to be tied to a rocket, because damn this guy puts power into his kicks.

Strenghts:

Turktleton's biggest strenghts are his kicking power and his kicking accuracy. A dynamite kick and a pin point precise accuracy help Turk score field goal after goal. Having a goal percentage of 91% last season. Hitting 31 on 34 attemts. He also has some IQ in him. Knowing how to play around the wind and weather conditions.

Weaknesses:

Basicly all his other stats are bad, but for a kicker this doesn't matter. He can't tackle, he has no hands, you won't see him blocking any thing. Nor are his arms anything to write home about. It is noticeable his right arm is alot stronger than his left arm. Aslong as Turkleton gets his kicks in thou, he's doing his job and that's all that matters.

Dan miller, the defensive enigma.

Is it possible to say a player is ready for the NSFL after only 1 year of college football? Usually this happens because of a plague of injuries, but that's not the case this time.
During Dan's time at LSU, he was studying Kinesiology in hopes of becoming a physical therapist. He was a fitness nut spending far too much time working out. During the end of his junior year, an athletic trainer named Harry Calino stumbled across him working out and begged him to come work out with the team. That work out ended up leading to a try out and then Dan easily landed a starting position at DT which LSU desperately needed help at that position.
His first game was insane. He ended up slipping through the offensive line against Mississippi State and sacking for a loss 3 times in the first half. By the third time, the crowd started chanting, "Dan, Dan, Dan the man!" Mississippi state ended up playing from behind and airing it out, this proved ineffective when Dan blocked a few passes, and then picked up 2 more sacks.
During that 1st year, he ended up being far too dominant for someone so inexperienced.
The man is an athletic freak with a good head on his shoulders. One thing that is super noticeable is he plays every snap hard. He plays hard, smart and plays to win.
He could easily be drafted as a DT since he's familiar with that, but I think he could make a serviceable DE in a pinch.

It's going to be a tough decision for teams to choose to gamble on a player that obviously has raw talent and athleticism, but lacks experience.

I only know one thing, if I was a QB, I wouldn't want this man to be hunting me down.

(S1) - PT #1 - Draft Profile - Bertiswho - 05-25-2017

Bert Metas a is a great combination of size, speed and strength. At 6'5" and 314lbs he can fill gaps and bat down passes at the line of scrimmage. Even at his size he is able to get down the line of scrimmage and make plays outside the tackle box and even downfield. He's very competitive and posses a high motor. One of his few downsides would be his endurance, he can get winded easily sometimes and become ineffective. His production, power, athleticism, technique and versatility make him arguably the best interior defender in this years draft. Metas is a dominating player that projects as an impact defender in his rookie season. Any team drafting Metas will have a starting DT from day one.

(S1) - PT #1 - Draft Profile - Bwestfield - 05-25-2017

Strengths

Westfield possesses all the physical attributes to be a top 5 WR in this league. He can out muscle and drive through defenders for the ball. His arm size and weight are ideal for moving around corners who are a bit sluggish on the turn. Westfield benefits from having a large stature so his QBs don't have to have the best accuracy. Runs routes with great precision and poise. Large hands allows him to catch with ease. A good contributer in the community and the locker room, a real team player.

Weaknesses

He doesn't have that overall speed and acceleration you would like to have in your receiver. He likely won't break away from defenders running vertically. Didn't see much competition at his level playing for the University at Buffalo. Has had several bad experiences with chinese food. That could possibly effect his performance down the road.

Lightskin Thor has his name for a reason. He is the by far the strongest man in this draft and can carry any team to the championship. Literally and figuratively. He has the work ethic and potential to be a perennial pro-bowler. Throughout all of college he was known for his hammer in his pants and the power of his hands. He has been given extreme powers by the gods and they are going to will him to become the best player of all time. Drafting him will be the greatest decision your organization could possibly make.

Lightskin Thor brought his high school team a state championship while playing not only defensive end, but also running back because he was simply too strong and too big. He did such, while graduating with a 4.0 and enrolling into college earlier. Lightskin Thor is the ideal person in every aspect of life.

Lightskin Thor's parents have never been seen or heard of and thus the rumor has been created that he is truly the hammer-wielding god that Norse mythology claimed he was. He brings absolute thunder on every single play. If you need a true draft profile, any history of the god Thor would tell you more than a simple 200 words could.

Boss Tweed is a quiet prospect. As a player, he prefers to lead by example and let his work speak for itself. As a prospect, he has been under the radar. He was not a very flashy prospect coming out of high school and did not receive offers from any of the major football schools, so he choose to go to Kansas. He was undersized his freshman year and he was a year younger than most of his teammates because he skipped a grade during elementary school. Because of this, he redshirted his freshman year and did not play. Kansas finished 2-10 that year.

During his redshirt year, Tweed hit a growth spurt and bulked up since he spent much of the year in the weight room and has a very strong work ethic. He gradually worked his way up the lineup and was eventually named a starter after 8 games when the team sat at 2-6. Kansas went on a surprising 4 game winning streak afterward and finished at 6-6. Tweed’s hard work during the past year payed off as he fit instantly on the team and helped give the offense an identity which led to the team’s turnaround. His best game came against West Virginia when he ran for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns which enabled the Jayhawks to pull of an upset on the road. Kansas’s strong finish enabled them to qualify for a bowl where they faced Arkansas. Unfortunately, they could not continue their hot streak and they fell 31-24 despite a strong showing from Tweed. The tough loss served as motivation for Tweed and inspired him to come back even better the next year.

With a full offseason to prepare Tweed as the starter, Kansas became a different team. They had the best rushing attack in the nation during the next year, which allowed the offense to establish a powerful play action game and led to a well-rested Kansas defense while simultaneously wearing down opposing defenses. Kansas exceeded its fans wildest expectations and ended up improving to 9-3 that season. This earned them a berth in the Big XII championship game to face off against the undefeated Oklahoma Sooners. Tweed went off for 160 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns along with 40 receiving yards and a game winning diving one handed touchdown catch in the final seconds of the game. Despite the stunning victory over Oklahoma, Kansas did not have the resume to make the playoffs. Instead they went to a bowl game against Florida State. Determined to avenge the previous year’s bowl loss, Tweed had the best game of his college career as he ran for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. Florida State punted while down by 3 with 5 minutes remaining but never saw the ball again as Tweed drained out the rest of the clock over a long drive. Just two years after finishing 2-10, Kansas had won a major bowl game. Within 3 years, Boss Tweed had gone from an insignificant recruit to a campus legend.

After his 3rd year, Tweed was ready to move on to the NFL. His time at Kansas is an enigma to NFL scouts. Some worry about the fact that he gained little notoriety before college and wonder if his breakout year was just a flash in the pan. Others are intrigued by how completely his success transformed his team and dream about his potential with NFL coaching. It remains to be seen whether his success will transfer but what is undeniable is that he plays every game full of heart and he was one of the fastest players on the field every time he took a snap in college.

(S1) - PT #1 - Draft Profile - HENDRIX - 05-25-2017

OVERVIEW

Kurt Hendrix was born to tackle people, as a baby he literally jumped out of the womb and speared the doctor attempting to deliver him. As the son of an Army officer, Hendrix grew up in an environment of extreme discipline. He has a strict diet that includes thirty eggs per day and a rigorous exercise routine. Although there isn't video of it, rumors say Hendrix tackled an entire offensive line at once during his legendary high school career. As a California native, it was natural to stay in state and sign with the Trojans as a five star recruit. He was a four year starter at USC and picked up serious hardware along the way: Butkus award winner, Heisman finalist, National champ, and led the country in tackles for loss. Instead of staying in the dorms like a normal college student, Hendrix slept on a bench in the weight room using a football as a pillow. Hendrix could play any LB position in a 4-3 but could also thrive playing one of the inside spots in a 3-4 defense. All the evidence points to one thing, he might just be the best linebacker talent since Lawrence Taylor.

STRENGTHS

Relentlessly pursues ball carriers, could drop into pass coverage, and is an effective pass rusher. Delivers bone crushing, brain rattling hits. Has great closing burst, is a sound tackler, and has great instincts. He makes or is near every tackle. No character concerns. Would run in front of a train for his team.

WEAKNESSES

He could be over aggressive at times. His all out playing style has led to injuries. He has suffered ten concussions but has dished out 15x that in return.

Vinny Cox, the 6'5" defensive tackle out of Tennessee, has his eyes set on the upcoming NSFL Draft. Many consider Cox to be one of the top defensive tackles in the draft. Cox was an absolute stud in college and looks to continue that success into the NSFL.

Strengths
Vinny Cox is big and very strong. Cox's will be able to eat up a ton of space in the middle of the line. His strength will allow him to easily push back offensive lineman and shutdown the run. He can generate enough power to force a double team on him, leaving holes for his other defensive lineman. He has great hands that allows him to keep blockers off of him. Cox rarely misses tackles, wraps up the ball carrier with great strength.

Weaknesses
Cox biggest weakness is his speed. He lacks high end speed. So don't expect high sack numbers early on in his career. He does not have enough burst to quickly close the gap to the quarterback. He is a raw player so he should be able to improve his speed over time. Cox relies mostly on his strength and has not developed a finesse move to get around lineman.

Look for Cox to be one of the top picks in the draft.

Pablo Sanchez came out of nowhere at Georgia Tech. Although he had some bright spots on his game film, he has very little experience. Sanchez played basketball in his first year at Georgia Tech, but soon transitioned to the football field. He spent a few seasons playing a tight end/wide receiver hybrid but then transitioned again into a safety. His pro day speaks to his potential ability as the next big free safety. He only started for one season and was very raw but his six interceptions speak to his potential.

He is definitely not an in the box safety, but has incredible closing speed and is one of the premiere ball hawks in this class. He comes in a bigger frame for a free safety but it allows him to contest jump balls with taller wide receivers. With an amazing work ethic and no off the field troubles, Sanchez is a great pick for a team looking for positive influences. He plays with a lot of raw emotion but is still developing as a leader. His ceiling is the top ball hawking safety in the league, but he needs to develop to reach that high level. Regardless, he is an athletic freak and of the biggest risers over the past year.

After a strong all American game, Levon Novel really turned some heads. Not a big part of his passing attack he was able to rush for only 21 yards. The impressive part of that was that he was able to rush for a strong 5.2 yards per carry. That means the young back given the touches will be a forced to be reckoned with.

What skill sets he offers:

Out of the backfield he can be a power runner as was seen in the all American game. His running skills with the ball were on display even with limited touches. For the most part he does train his run game mainly with breaking tackles as well.

His other sill set includes being able to catch the ball. Novel wants to be a target for his qb so opposing teams don’t always know what is going to happen when he is on the field. His goal is to not be a one dimension player. Whether is a bail out option in a bad play or the running a wheel route or a screen he wants to be a target in the offense and some one his qb can trust. Being a multi dimensional player will hopefully means he can go higher in the draft.
