I may not know the history of the league but I am fairly certain there has only been one real fullback in the ISFL. Please correct me if I’m wrong. In any case this fullback is the only player with the credentials to be a hall of fame player without taking to the field in the big league. After playing one full season in the DSFL for the Portland Pythons and putting up some great numbers.
20 Pancakes and only 1 sack given up.
Rushing 80 yards on 18 attempts and longest of 9 yards.
88 yards receiving on 14 receptions and longest of 22 yards.
This player was drafted in the 6th round to the newly minted New York Silverbacks. Looking more like the club mascot than a player, you would be mistaken for his ability levels. With many questioning his ability to make the jump to the big time after disappearing into the jungle for almost a month. Buster ‘Boulder’ Bawlls is a Fullback! Who should not only be feared the world over, but who should be placed in the hall of fame. For any of you doubters out there, you watch this Silverback’s performances, you see how he performs. When it is all said and done, He will be in the hall of fame.

The Berlin Fire Salamanders will win the Ultimus this season. Before the opening game, many were predicting Berlin to be one of the worst teams this season. Berlin faced New York on the road to open the season. Berlin ended up winning this game 30-27. While the score might not show it, Berlin dominated this game. They had 431 yards of total offense, over 174 yards rushing, and averaged 5.0 yards per rushing attempt. If Berlin’s offense was able to do this on the road, imagine how good they will be when they’re playing at home. Because of this dominant performance, I believe Berlin will be able to compete with any team in the league. I also believe that with their dominant rushing attack that they have a serious shot at winning the Ultimus.
Berlin’s roster looks like one of the worst in the league on paper. They have the lowest total TPE of any ISFL team. This mainly due to their weak offense, which is worst in the league in terms of TPE. Comparatively, they have the 10th highest defensive TPE out of the 14 ISFL teams. While this might sound like a recipe for disaster, Berlin is a much better team than they appear to be on paper. They have already shown that they can run the ball on the road. If their defense can step up and just be average, and if their league-best rushing attack continues to be dominant, Berlin will end their first season as Ultimus champions.

Why Berlin will not win the Ultimus. Let me start off with a very easy first reason. They are a expansion team. Its pretty rare when you get to see a very new expansion team win the Ultimus right? Here are some expansion teams that have yet to win a Ultimus for example: Chicago Butchers, Honolulu Hahalua, and the Sarasota Sailfish. I bet you will see Berlin and possibly New York in that list aswell. Second Reason: Bad name. Imagine having the great chances and possibilities to make a new and hyped team in the ISFL that should be exciting for everyone in the league. You chose the Berlin Fire Salamanders. Im sorry, but what the actual fuck is that again? I searched it up and all I get is a cool looking black and yellow lizard. What, they are now copying the old Portland Pythons colors? Thats pretty disrespectful as a Python Alumni. Did you really have to do the actual full name? Why not the "Berlin Lizards" or uh....I don't fuckin know it just kind of sucks. Compare the lizard from Berlin to A FUCKING GORRILA THAT WILL FUCKING EAT YOU ALIVE. New York wins the expansion contest and "the team that looks better than the other one wins the Ultimus first!" - Me. Third Reason: They are in the NSFC. The NSFC seems like a pretty easy conference don't you think? You have the boring Wraiths, the tanking Liberty, the failure Hawks, the comebacking Butchers, It seems pretty peaceful for you isn't it? Good, now face the SLAPPING SARASOTA SAILFISH AND THE HUNGRY ASS YETI. Have fun Berlin!
And this is why the Fire Salmonders will not win the Ultimus.
