I’ve been on the Bucs for about… 4 hours now? So I haven’t had too much time to familiarize myself with my teammates, but I have seen that free safety Chathack'rius Smith IV has been quite good this season, both on defense and on special teams. Chathack’rius has made 48 tackles in 7 games this season, which is much improved from their previous 2 seasons where they recorded 48 and 74 tackles in 14 games, respectively. They’ve also got 1 interception on the season, and 1 pass deflection. Not the best, but definitely have been an impact player in coverage so far this season. However, Smith has been the Buccaneers kick and punt returner this season, and has been pretty decent, at least according to my GM. They’re averaging 15.2 yards per kick return, and 9.6 per punt return, which I honestly don’t think is that bad. I don't know how many other options we have, so Smith has filled the role quite well and tried their best to set up the offense with better field position. They have been an impact player on both special teams and defense, which is quite a lot to ask out of one player, so Smith has definitely been a standout player on an umm… not so standout team. I just noticed we’re 0-7. Here's to getting a win, hope there can be some more standout players throughout the second half of the season.

One thing I can say about the Norfolk Seawolves is that we're a positive bunch, even when the season isn't going our way... at all. I love that about the team. What I also love is how involved our rookies get. For example, Nick L Back, or Zoone (whichever you prefer), has been tearing it up this season and has been voted as a team captain. My mans has taken over my role from last season as the focus of the offense and they are absolutely killing it, both on and off the field.

You'll see Zoone hyping everyone up when it's game day alongside Magnet, celebrating the big plays with everyone, and above all, just being an awesome person. I honestly couldn't be happier with how the team vote for captains turned out.

I know the prompt is really only for one person, but I gotta give Magnet his props. This dude is our other team captain and is just all around an amazing person. I've never met someone so positive about a losing season. Magnet is always making sure the rest of us have fun, and it's been an absolute pleasure playing with both of these guys this season. I'd love to play with them in the future if I get an opportunity to.

Picking out a single teammate is hard for me but I would like to honor our star tackle, JaJa DingDong. Jaja currently leads the league with 83 pancakes through nine games. What is even more impressive however is that DingDong has not allowed a sack all season. That's right he has put 83 defenders on their back with out ever allowing someone to do the same to Monty Jack. With the amount of times Monty has had to pick himself off the turf this season, it is safe to say our team could use more DingDongs. If he continues his feverish pace, it is obvious Jaja will make the pro bowl this season and should be at least nominated for offensive lineman of the year. I will be the first to say that it should be his award to lose. Give Jaja DingDong the trophy.

Off the field, Jaja is also a class act. He is the nicest man in the locker room and always does his best to keep us together through our ups and downs as a team. With our current .500 record we need all the positivity we can get and Jaja brings that every day to our team. I can not think of a better teammate and on the field performer than Jaja DingDong.

Well, honestly I have to say thank you to Tay Swizzle or Pau. He did not tamper me cause I wanted a fresh start but I am glad he told me he was recreating now cause being on a good respectable team for a change has done us a lot of wonders. I guess this means I should say I am thankful for my GM team mates. Zeagle 'took a chance' with me and mainly just so he could get pau but now we are doing wonders and really making sure that Portland are at least competitive and able to compete against the favourites.

So yeah I would qualify that for the locker room. I am grateful for Hummus God coming back and updating as the Offensive Lineman as well cause this league has them as unsung heroes more than anything. I think our QB deserves a mention as well cause he is having a good season. Maybe not the best but it is not like we have lost every game!

The last person team mate I will mention is Krazko as he is a lovely person and I always dig seeing people I do not know and getting to know him has been very fun if I do say so myself. He may go on to be a monster in the major league.

I am really not sure I can write about just 1 teammate, I love them all so much! I have decided to I am really not sure I can write about just 1 teammate, I love them all so much! There are so many great people i have both encountered in this league and who currently play in Austin from our GMs to our OL that so spectacularly fails to protect me week in and week out. We have stars on both side of the ball making this choice so very tough to single out only 1 person to heap praise upon. Now I have been in Austin for a very long time, it feels like 2 lifetime and I have seen many great users pass through but there is someone is surpasses nearly everyone in how much effort they put into the team and that is of course @RDBSouthPaw. The work he does both as our head scout (making 1st contact with EVERY prospect) and the work he does keeping new players active and earning is frankly amazing. When you look at his results you can really understand why when he was a DSFL GM his team constantly churned out more active players than any other team time after time again. Recently I called him the oil that makes the gears of Austin turn and that fact is so very true. Also annoyingly he is the nicest guy too boot!

Don't you guys love it when you see a rookie on your team do well? I do. Cade York is Arizona Outlaw's new starting kicker and punter after the long time kicker JJJJJJJJJ retired. Jaymison was great for the team and I believe won a kicker award (don't quote me) so Cade has a pretty big shoe to fill especially on a contending team. And so far, he is filling it pretty well. He has only missed two field goals so far and those were a 40-49 kick and a 50+ kick. And with that, he ends up being in the middle of the pack in terms of field goal percentage, which I would consider decent for a rookie. He did miss one extra point attempt which kindof sucks but he does have above average attempts in that case. He's also good in the punts. Almost half of his punts end up inside the 20 and he has an above average yards per punt. Another thing that Cade brings to the team is his locker room presences. I would say he is one of the most active ones in the locker room and makes the place better. He does his weekly recaps of games and brings a lot of light in that room.

As the lead running back and Captain of this team, both by title and by name, I think I have maybe the best understanding of my teammates and how they help this team both on the field and in the locker room. We are the best team in the league right now because of so many contributions from many different members of the New York Silverbacks, so it is hard to pick just one teammate that has really stood out this year. That being said, I will pick out the teammate who has surprised me the most with his leadership and performance on the field, mostly since he's doing this all as a rookie! That player is @Void_DCXI, otherwise known as Brandon Prince! Prince is the heir to the starting running back position (pun intended) as a backup making his first appearances in the ISFL. During his short time here, he is leading all rookies in rushing yards and tied among rookies in rushing touchdowns, while also adding two touchdowns receiving. This guy has more touchdowns than I do! Lets not forget that this guy also has the important clutch gene, as earlier this year he scored a game-tying touchdown to send us to overtime, and in our most recent game scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime! I'm beyond proud of what my teammate has been able to accomplish in just a short time here, and I'm excited to see his career take off!

For this PT I would like to highlight my practice nemesis, wide receiver Joshua Campbell. Campbell and I have been going back and forth every day at practice and as the saying goes, iron sharpens iron. Right now, Campbell is third in the league in receiving yards with a stunning 938 yards. I feel like I can attribute this to myself as I usually draw him as my assignment in practice and we have both made each other much better players. I wish this could translate to my stats, but alas I have the same number of sacks this season as I do passes defended. Not only has Campbell been on fire on the turf, but he has also been a great locker room presence. Whenever games are on or even just on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Campbell is always around and ready to chat up anyone who wants to. All around this season, Campbell has grown on me and has been a blast to have around! Hopefully we can continue making each other better as we turn around after these disappointing last couple weeks and we and the rest of the Sabercats out of San Jose can make a push for the playoffs and maybe even an Ultimus.

It is very difficult to pick just one of my teammates to give a shout out to, but if I had to call out just one this season, I think it would have to be @ "Arvot".  Not only is his player, Steve Wadham, a central piece of the Second Line defense, with 42 tackles, one sack, one interception and 4 passes deflected, his locker room presence is what stands out to me, but Arvot himself as a user.  His 'weekly' game ball announcements are very much appreciated and have been a huge hit in my eyes, something I look forward to seeing after every game.  He is active on his twitter as well, which helps get me pumped up for our games, and reminds me to tweet something out myself!  Again, I could pick just about anyone on our team to write this PT about, we've got a top notch team and locker room.  And each one of them is a great teammate and a joy to spend time with in the locker room.  We are hoping to have a strong finish to the season and set ourselves up for the future with the work we are putting in now.  New Orleans will be back in the Ultimus in no time and Arvot / Steve Wadham will be a very big reason why we make it there.
