Well this answers that. This is kinda shitty. Neccesary but shitty. I bet no one in HO really felt good about this usage of a neccesary new rule be uase of other people's more malicious actions.

They were clearly in response to the YoungTB situation, weird to insinuate that they were somehow proposed with foreknowledge of this specific case.

HO contacted me almost right after the rules were proposed.
Whether they knew about me or not while creating the rules, they knew about me before the rules were voted on and finalized.

I’ve had those two rules on my list of rules to propose since February. And I’ve had them planned out to propose this season since roughly that time. It’s actually terribly coincidental timing.

The rule that you can’t claim rookie tasks when you make a second account was not created during the second accounts career. It has been there since roughly October of last year.

Edit: and fwiw no punishment has been applied at this point

Don't even have a problem with Jiggly here, actually quite sympathetic to the situation and understand why a fresh start was desired.

But you can't deny some well respected users helped conspire to keep a multi account user secret when not being sure if it was legal for a whole season. Don't think that's kinda messed up? These people were in war rooms at the time of the draft, and it would take a lot of convincing to make me think that knowledge of jggly's second account wasn't used.
No one's trying to deny that multiple respected users were involved as far as I can see. Generally when one points an Ace Attorney style figure to demand that someone admit something is true, there should be some leadup to that being in question first. Rather than everyone already agreeing to it ahead of time.

Now, as generally agreed by everyone, several high profile users including 3 former members of HO were approached and asked about it and all seem to have come to the conclusion that it was in good faith and not actually against the rules as they existed. I know you framed it as "not sure if legal" and all that conspiratorial negative busoness but there's usually a term for things that aren't in the rulebook. It's legal. And if it wasn't, there wouldn't be not own but two new rules making it illegal.

Is it messed up? I don't think so. I can think of some other things in the very recent past that were totally messed up though.

I wouldn't expect the league's Rita Skeeter to see the issue with stirring the pot yet again so quickly though.

Someone wanted something positive and others helped. Others who's judgement is well regarded. If you view that as a negative it's because you brought that negativity with you. Now you may go. I'm sure you have a "what entirely negative opinions about every member of HO" article to work on.

Hey dude, you actually don't know me. Maybe you got me confused with someone else, but I'm not an HO hater lol. Read the username and see if you actually know the person before spouting nonsense.
HO has nothing to do here, and those that kept it a secret didn't do anything wrong by the book, but I'm frustrated that nobody thought to bring it to HO at all. Surely that's not unreasonable.
It not being in the rulebook isn't the best sign that something is perfectly legal. I feel there should've been a responsibility to do more than that.

Weird how you started this argument by accusing my response of simply being because I hate Jiggly when I don't really know him, which then switched to you finding some other way to attack me. Seems just like you have a vendetta. Sorry man, I essentially just copied media from the past. People said shitty things, but no idea why you have to point your frustration towards me for that.

Also, and you can ask Frick and Hall this, I did NOT tell Baltimore about this. I told NO ONE. Since we're going after some teams having an advantage and all.

I can't speak for the others, but that's my final statement on this. Come by to my DMs to yell at me if you want.

I'm not saying this in DMs cause I think it should be seen. I'm not gonna yell at you, and I respect your opinions when it comes to league subjects.
Those who I've talked to more in depth about the rule before this came out know that I actually am pretty supportive of second accounts if there was some regulation, and I understand why it was important to you to stay as tight lipped as possible here. I'm disappointed in that I feel it wasn't handled as properly as it could've, but I get a sense that the way you handled it was the considered the ONLY way at the time. In the end it just sucks for all sides. And for the record, I will take your word that nothing was said.

Bullying is bad. Memeing a person until they leave is bad. Making someone feel like they need to change their whole identity in order to be welcome here is bad. This is a fake football league for fun. This whole situation is an embarrasing miscarriage of justice.

Can we just have Taka back or some form of pick compensation?

I mean, holy hell ya'll. Person is trying to make a comeback and be better, until they fuck up (if they fuck up) why not give them a shot?

There's absolutely no reason to be shitty to people even if they had a bad past. If they screw up, they're gone. Simple as that.
