INT: SARASOTA SAILFISH PRESS CONFERENCE ROOM
The Sarasota Sailfish just closed out a close game against the Yellowknife Wraiths and John Huntsman is awaiting questions to take from the buzzing room of reporters. He is feeling elated after having some contribution to what feels like a must win for the Sailfish.
A mysterious long-haired reporter, who always seems to know something he shouldn’t, raises his hand to speak. The press coordinator calls on him.
PRESS COORDINATOR
Yes, you there, with the long hair.
TRENT
Trent Crimm: The Independent. Mr. Huntsman, congratulations on the must-needed win in your match. I’m curious about your past life. You were a amatuer professional wrestler in Iowa, correct?
JOHN
Hi Trent. Thank you. That is correct. I was wrestled for three years with a wrestling academy.
TRENT
I’ve seen some of your work. Very fascinating stuff there. You were quite good. You’re entire family is involved with professional wrestling in some capacity. What made you step away from the sport?
JOHN
I wouldn’t necessarily say I stepped away from professional wrestling as much as I’d say I came back to football. I was very good in high school and had plenty of opportunities and offers to play at the next level.
TRENT
Very interesting. Are you sure it wasn’t because of the incident four years ago where you refused to tap out of a massive head lock, passed out, and then proceeded to erupt from the bowels all over the ring and front row of the audience?
JOHN
No more questions!

The dirt that the reporter "dug up" is something that they may think is super secret, but is actually pretty common knowledge. When I was going through the ISFL draft process, I let teams know that I had a preferred destination. This was blown out of proportion from some individuals as me "forcing" my way to a team or being difficult. Some thought that if another team drafted me, they wouldn't get my best. As I've stated in previous media, that is simply not the case. While I am happy that Colorado traded up and drafted me, I was ready and willing to play for any team which used a pick on me, and anyone who has talked with me at length and any time knows that I would have lived up to that. As far as that time goes, it was difficult for me, as I was afraid of how it might affect my reputation in this league. The last thing that I would want is for something like this to be drudged up again. I'm perfectly fine being out of the spotlight a bit more these days, and I'd like to keep it that way! I know who I am, I know I'm a man of integrity, and I plan to move forward in my career with confidence.

The only possible "dirt" a reporter might have discovered about Zoe Watts is old videos of her and her friends lip syncing to the Backstreet Boys in ridiculous outfits on youtube. While not really dirt per se, the release of these videos would certainly be an embarrassment to Watts, as many of them were recorded while she was three sheets to the wind on rum and cokes and just overall being kind of silly. Aside from that, her teammates in Austin would probably never forgive her, as many of them believe that 'N Sync was superior to the Backstreet Boys in every way. She would surely be shunned in the locker room if they were to discover videos of her belting out "I want it that way" and yelling that it is a superior song to "I want you back". If not a shunning, she would definitely get a lesson on why 'N Sync was superior (but she'll still know it's only because they had Justin Timberlake... right?).
The only course of action she could take is pleading with her friends once more to remove the youtube videos. They would probably ignore her though and the damage would be done, so it would not really help her cause at the end of the day. In that case she would probably just lean in to the criticism and take the teasing she gets from her teammates. She might be able to temporarily deflect by talking about some other 90s sensation like the Spice Girls or Aqua maybe.. but the only thing that will really make it go away is time.

A football locker room is a testosterone filled place. You’re expected to act a certain way. Be an Alpha, shout, scream, chest bump, psyche ourselves up. Well, Guy Gibson is not only the namesake of a famous WWII RAF pilot, he was also raised by a father who was also a well heeled officer type. He always felt out of place in public school and going for afternoon tea in fancy hotels in Lincolnshire. Football was his outlet, playing for the Lincolnshire Bombers youth team, before getting into college in the US. During this time, however, there were of course yearbooks from the fancy schools he attended, photos in local papers of him having tea with royalty.
His San Jose Sabrecat teammates can’t possibly see these! If Crowder or Bass saw him in the paper, holding his delicate China cup of tea, pinky cocked, discussing whether it’s jam then cream, or cream then jam on a scone (jam then cream obviously, you absolute heathens), he would be hung from a coat hook by his underwear faster than you could say ‘but I didn’t enjoy it’!
Gibson will do whatever it takes to keep these pictures under wraps! Bribing the reporter?? Sure, how much? Or perhaps a ‘special’ photo shoot? Well, that would be telling…

If I was approached by a member of a well-known print publication, and the reporter claimed to have some dirt on me from my past then this reporter did his homework. I don’t know if I would be inclined to believe him at first, and I would continue to believe that unless he dropped a tid bit of information that would make me realize that this guy knew. As many people go on living their lives without needing to be deceptive or without have a dark secret this quarterback has most definitely been hiding something. I don’t know if I would come right out and admit it quite yet, because he is there for a reason. Whether he needs confirmation before he can move forward with an article or if it’s a bribe he is after, I need to control the situation and figure out what he knows, how he knows it and why he’s really in my face. You can’t let sniveling little swine like this reporter try to control you, your life, or your well-being. You want to really know what the dirt he has on me? Here it is. When I was in college, I got injured early in my junior season. It was a serious injury that was going to sideline me for the whole season. While injured I was given medication for the pains The pain wasn’t constant, but it definitely would just kind of come and go, almost like it had a mind of its own and would rear its ugly head at the worst time possible. Well, the doctors only prescribe you so much medication. What they fail to mention though, it’s the likelihood of becoming addicted. If you have an addictive personality such as I do, you can’t control the pull and the urge to get more and use. When you use up all your prescribed dosages the won’t fill it up any more, so now you have to turn to the streets to get your fix. Problem is when you’re a college kid on a scholarship you don’t have money. Sure, you can get a job, but between classes, and practice, and homework, you don’t have any spare time to get a job to get money, so what do you do to get some bread? You ask someone, who probably won’t give it to you anyways. Another option is you take money from a booster. That can hurt your chances at playing, so you can’t do that. Playing is what will pay your bills in the future. So what option does that leave you? Do you know? Yeah. You steal it. When youre in this haze, youre not in the right state of mind, and its pretty easy to convince yourself that this is something you can do, and you start planning out someone or some place to rob. How to get away with it and how to make sure you never get caught. I was never caught. I was never apprehended by the authorities. How does this reporter know it was me and what is he planning to do about it? Something you forgot about that happened so long ago, can rear its ugly head at a moments notice. The real question is….what do you do now?

HAKK has never been a "clean" kid by any means. I mean, the dude was permabanned off twitter his freshman year of high school within a month of joining the site. He also was almost put in handcuffs his last year of middle school. Honestly, there's so much you could dig up on this guy, nothing would be surprising. Lord have mercy on your soul if you somehow get a hold of some Xbox 360 party chat logs. That itself could most likely send HAKK to jail on 25 separate life sentences. In more recent years however, he has toned his act down. On the other hand , there's still a lot of stuff you could clock him for. The most likely thing that would come out is some of HAKKs sayings about fellow league members and league offices. Which honestly isn't too bad, considering that HAKK could have learned a lot from Big Edd. I'm willing to bet if you asked around the local Taco Bells in the area, some workers would have some special stories for you regarding HAKK. He has a tendency to use his words out of context. For example, I don't think he meant it literally when he said he was gonna "blow that taco bell toilet up".

My first thought when I heard about the news that a well known Reporter is supposed to have dirt on me was to laugh. I mean.. what could he mean? That i cheated in an english test in 8th grade?
Nah, it has to be something else but I can't figure out what it could be.
There was a scandal at my german team but that was waaaaay before I ever played there. The coaches have been banned as well.
I just hope it's not something I did while being drunk in College. My memory is a bit fuzzy there. I mean can you blame me? I was a young german, in a foreign country, becoming a college star. Plus there were a lot of girls and parties. So one or two might have gone out of hand.
But everyone was at College at some point, everyone went to Parties. That can't be the dirt the reporter found, can it?
I mean it would be considered "Dirt" if somebody hurt someone or did something wreckless but I'm not the guy for something like that.
So at the end of the day, I called the reporters BS and carried on with my day.

The dirt on LaDamien Beck is he is **dirt** poor. Negative 2mil or so? At first there was speculation that his problem was gambling, but reports indicated he has been nowhere near the casino. The truth of the matter is he was out buying millions of dollars worth of footballs. Not only for himself, but also for the local population of Tijuana. He was buying them for himself because obviously you can never get enough practice. Secondly, he was buying them for the kids of the city to try to increase the popularity footprint of American football into Mexico. Mo' fans equals mo' money, right? Unfortunately, his accountant was the one with the problems which led to an overspending on the pigskin. No fully realizing his situation, Beck has been trying to scrimp and save to get back to respectable social form so he can continue to improve his game and bring a championship to Tijuana. Whoever posted the dirt about Beck in the media to try to dig up "dirt" obviously did not look into the story because Beck is as hard working and respectable as they come. Only time will tell if he actually manages to dig himself up out of this hole.
