What would be your suggestion for an alternative? No it sucks for me personally, but I've been in a lot of sim leagues and this is my stance on these types of punishments. This place is very similar to the SHL and the SHL has had a lot of bans over it's time, whereas the VHL has not had a lot because its just thought more highly of in regards to "should I cheat or should I not cheat?". From what I've seen this sort of thing kills the motivation of teammates who were and are good members with no direct relation to the situation or knowledge of it. A few posts ago you'll see what I suggested. *Too far or not far enough? - TheMemeMaestro - 09-17-2017 (09-16-2017, 01:08 PM)Kendrick Wrote:I think you can by hitting the player with a punishment like "Decrease the excess TPE earned through cheating and halfing that TPE total. So in this case it would bump him down to 205 TPE. A 205 TPE QB is better than what the Yeti have now as a QB. Then giving him a 2 week ban, a lifetime ban on league jobs and making him have to earn his way back up to TPE total like everyone else. You teach a young guy a lesson like that and he either understands it or he doesn't and just goes inactive. This is a great solution, It only sucks that Noble is gonna go IA anyway. *Too far or not far enough? - Merica - 09-17-2017 *babble babble babble*NSFL is full of cheaters *babble babble babble* |
