(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - manicmav36 - 10-01-2017
Welcome to our first season of the Housewives of the NSFL. This week we'll be following around wives from the Baltimore Hawks as they spend a quiet evening out on the town. We open the episode with a star wipe to four beautiful women sitting at a table in a lavish restaurant. The waiter approaches and asks, “Ladies, how was our meal.” “It was very good, thank you.” The first woman to answer, Laura, was decked out in a stunning blue dress and what was surely, a very expensive pearl neckless. She was the wife of defensive end, Burt Metas, who was recently moved from the defensive tackle position. Seated to her right, in a green skirt and black top was Jolene, wife of defensive tackle, Kurt Hendrix. She smiled at the waiter and replied, “It was delightful, thank you very much.” “Will we be having dinner tonight?”, asked the waiter. “No, thank you.”, replied Scarlett, wife of defensive end, Owen Taylor. “We’ll just take the check please.”, added Macy, wife of Ricardo Sandoval. When the check arrived, each woman paid for her share of the dinner, they all gathered their things and left. Like normal human beings. We don’t marry savages here in Baltimore, damnit.
It was the lowest rated episode ever, and the show was promptly cancelled after.
(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - toivo - 10-02-2017
Shasha Goodson and the rest of the Pythons' wives and husbands thought it would be fun to play instruments with a symphony. The group heads out to play with the Portland City Symphony. Shasha hasn't played instruments before, so they set her up with the triangle. Some of the others have experience with instruments. Brad, one of the wide outs' husband has experience on the piano. He's rusty but he's able to play and put the wives to shame.
Cuts to Shasha alone, looking into the camera kind of cold.
Shasha Goodson: As always, Brad has to come in here and one-up us. I am not jealous of Brad's abilities, but he seems to need to be the star of this show. Just some character trait, that's all. I don't need to be the star of the show, I'm fine without it, to be honest.
Cuts to Brad alone.
Brad: What did that bitch say? Star of the show? Of course I am. She's the most basic bitch we have on this show. Remember when we tried that play and she half assed everything. I've seen more enthusiasm at jury duty.
On the way back, Shasha and Brad argued about being troublemakers and causing drama.
(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - Apache_Chief - 10-02-2017
On an upcoming episode of Outlaw Wives, we look deeper into the love life of star rookie Franklin Harris Jr.
On the previous week, the other wives had been introduced and spent a day with the then current fling of Harris, a woman known as 'Glitter'. Now, obviously the wives of the Outlaws players recognized immediately that this woman was from the local Strip Club, and therefore had a hard time getting along with her. One of the wives, that of star lineman Arbin Asipi, even got into a fight with her when Glitter made a comment about her weight. The two went at it and ultimately Glitter lost the fight and left the meeting with the wives in anger.
Now, as you might remember, Glitter was very obviously a quick romance for Harris Jr., but on this episode, we find out that he is not opposed to long term deals. A new woman is introduced to the group, an intelligent looking woman by the name of Stephanie. She explains to the other wives that she met Harris in the preseason when the Outlaws visited the Legion, and they've been in touch ever since. Finally, she shows off the ring on her finger and states that the two were married as he visited her in Vegas.

(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - Admin - 10-02-2017
This week on the real house wives of the National Simulation Football League we go up north to the cold winter wasteland of Yellowknife to spend a weekend with some of the wives of Yellowknife Wraiths star football players. We will get to see just what these women do to pass the time in a city that isn't known for its night life or its attractions. We won't be seeing these ladies partying the night away as you are used to seeing in Orange County. Expect a much more family friendly episode full of heartwarming time spent with the families of the Yellowknife Wraiths players, not just the wives. We will meet children, relatives, and friends who's lives these women and their husbands have touched in their time in Yellowknife.
First we head to the Orosz household and meet his family. Chris Orosz's wife is the stay at home mom who holds the family together while Chris is off winning Top QB awards and throwing touchdowns.
Later we will spend some time with Bubba Nuck and his offspring. The Nuck family is a busy one and they are always on the go with some sort of sport or event, usually Les by Mrs. Nuck herself.
We will end by seeing all of the wives and girlfriends come together to raise money for charities of their choosing as they host an evening for the fans and have a silent auction with items donated by their husbands and the Yellowknife Wraiths.

(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - RainDelay - 10-02-2017
Everyone in the NSFL has been talking about the new series entitled "Football Wives", but this talk has been for better or worse.
Yellowknife Wraiths receiver Bailey Cook and his girlfriend Caroline were going to be featured on the show, but Cook decided to protest its production. He released a statement regarding his reasons for the protest:
"I am protesting the upcoming show because of its lack of cultural awareness and its general air of insensitivity. I know that some members of the NSFL are part of the LGBT community and there are also a few female players as well. I don't like the use of the blanket term "wives" and the implications it has on the community. If the story was centered around simply relationships of the players that would be one thing, but lumping it all into one category just doesn't fly in today's world."
After his statement, Cook also alluded to the fact that some members of the Philadelphia Liberty share the same sentiments and were likely to start a boycott as well. He spoke to his close friend A.C. Hackett about the production as well, and he agreed that it was insensitive and a false representation of the community.

(S3) - Weekend PT #4 - Football Wives - Deusolis - 10-02-2017
Following the stunning success of Basketball Wives, VH1 execs decided to double-down on their success with the new show Football Wives. Although the NSFL has markets that don't lend themselves to great TV *ahem* Yellowknife, the producers found a gem with the families of the Philadelphia Liberty.
Despite the number of camera-hungry players on the Liberty, there was still vocal opposition to filming from at least one Liberty player. Linebacker AC Hackett objected to both the idea of a show about couples, citing the fact that he is "single as shit" and a show exclusively focused on wives and girlfriends, saying "Jesus, it's 2017. People are gay fam." While the former comment appeared to be slightly tongue-in-cheek, albeit with a hint of bitterness, the second reflected a stance shared by star Wraiths wideout Bailey Cook.
Of course, despite rather naked annoyance and behind the scenes protests, one monkey don't stop no show. The first episode aired following the Liberty's beatdown of the Yellowknife Wraiths and followed both players and their significant others at a celebratory dinner. The partners seemed as close as the players, specifically Becky North and Tori Hendrix, who both seemed to particularly relish hearing the newest gossip about fallen wunderkind Logan Noble, recently implicated in a steroid scandal.
