(S5) - Weekend PT #3 - New Year's Resolution - ralz9 - 01-08-2018 Nicholas Pierno’s goal for the new year is simple: throw less interceptions. After breaking the single-season record as a rookie, Pierno cut down on picks in year two, but he still led the league. If he were to not lead the NSFL in picks this season, it’d go down as a success in his books. “I have the best running back in the league, dawg,” Pierno said. “If I throw less interceptions because we’re running the dang ball every play, heck, I’m cool with it.” Pierno has reportedly spent much, much, much time after practice with Boss Tweed working on their handoff exchange over and over. “I’d like to say I think we got it down, but they always say, “Rather safe than sorry, right?” Pierno added one last thing: “I want to eat better. Every time I go back home to Raleigh I eat too much Cook Out that I have to burn off at training camp.” (S5) - Weekend PT #3 - New Year's Resolution - Chukka - 01-08-2018 Andreas Waiters has been on a grind since the new year came rolling in. While starting out strong in his debut performance with the Outlaws he was disappointed in his game against San Jose. He has committed to a diet regimen while working out overtime at a local facility. He says that his week 1 performance is what he wants to put up every game by the end of this season. It looks like that will be highly unlikely but, the commitment and determination in this young fellow has really improved over this last off-season and it looks like he could become one of the great forces in the league in the near future. He has looked great in practice and at the facility. He seems to be distancing from the unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle he is used to. All good news it seems from Arizona especially starting 2-0 this season. (151) (S5) - Weekend PT #3 - New Year's Resolution - Oles - 01-08-2018 Written: Must Include 150 Words. It's now 2018 and with that coming it's time for some changes. What changes is your player going to try and make with the coming of the New Year. Could be any resolution, it just has to be something. Oles has one simple goal for the new year. Contest more passes. A simple goal that every CB strives for, he wants to knock the ball away more, or intercept the ball, and prevent WRs from doing anything against him. Oles wants to really make QBs pay for challenging him, and after struggling in S4 is looking for a bounce back season in S5, and the simplest way to do this is to stop WRs before they get started. By contesting passes and forcing teams to find other targets, that aren’t their number 1 receivers, Oles wants to put the opposing team in a tough spot and force them to throw on him or Cushing, who is another stellar CB that is part of Philly’s fantastic secondary. By doing this and forcing teams to either run the ball, or throw against solid CBs Oles is looking for his best season yet, and that starts with blocking the pass and not letting the WR do anything with the ball.
