I know I'm a little bit late to the topic but I figured I'd give my input as well because why not. The job he got was for PPT, which was explained as grading pts. At no point was fixing player formatting errors part of the job description, as such I don't believe he could ever have valid reasoning without going to HO first.

The Coyotes, a DSFL team, have at least 8 players who regularly speak in the LR. The league has plenty of actives at all levels.
