(S12) - PT 5 - New Year New Me - Molarpistols - 01-12-2019 Growing up in Santa Barbara, California, Gus T.T. Showbiz was always one to follow Californian sports teams. The Orange County Otters being based in Santa Ana left them somewhat close and Gus had been to a few games. He picked out his favorite player, Ian Bavitz, due to his hard-nosed style and tirelessness. Bavitz played Linebacker and Free Safety for the Otters in an illustrious Hall of Fame career. If Gus were to swap to any position in football, he'd choose Free Safety due to the hero he had growing up excelling at the position. Showbiz knows offensive schemes and playcalling situations. That in depth knowledge of offensive philosophy would serve Gus well if he were to move to the back end of the defense. Reading the opposing offense would be pretty simple because he's ran an offense at a high level. His natural intelligence of the offensive side would make up for any deficiencies he would have in terms of tackling/speed, because he would know where to be before the ball was there. Luckily for the Otters, he's firmly entrenched as the team's starting quarterback and he hopes to continue the bright tradition of strong Otters QB play. (S12) - PT 5 - New Year New Me - White Cornerback - 01-12-2019 Written: Your player is listed at one position, but there are a lot of positions out there. If you could change your position or have a second player at a different position, what would you be? Write a minimum of 200 words on what position your player would switch to or give us an idea of a second player you would like to create. As you know Lavelle is likely the greatest cornerback to ever grace the NSFL, but in the past we've seen Lavelle play at both WR and indeed FS/SS. He first played safety I think during the end of S3/S4 regular season as well as during the playoffs which unfortunately we lost. I believe that Lavelle's first foray into WR was against the Philadelphia Liberty in either S4/S5 and I recall he was targeted a total of three times throughout the game which caused yep you guessed it two interceptions and managed to catch the other pass. Lavelle then proceeded to play WR at actually had some decent success for the Wraiths as he aged and played a sizable amount of his career on all three aspects of the ball, offense, defense and indeed special teams. Given a re-roll of my character I would actually choose cornerback all over again even if for a large period it was a testing time, but overall I have enjoye the career and my time in the NSFL as a white cornerback. The oppurtunity to become a wide receiver would always be enticing but I won't be back with a recreate, if ever for some time. It's time to leave. I had to take some time to really reflect on it. I think wide receiver would be my first choice since I already know how all the plays work on the field and which routes to go and where the quarterback could expect to see me. The next position would probably be linebacker. I think I could make a good mike linebacker that would be able to see the play called out in front of him and be able to adjust the defense accordingly. I do like to tackle in open space so being a mike linebacker would be fun to play. In the end though, I don't think I'd switch positions because I want to try to make it in the NSFL as a quarterback but being a wide receiver or linebacker would have to be my other 2 positions. Those look the most interesting and would allow me to use my high intelligence stats to the best of my ability in the game. (S12) - PT 5 - New Year New Me - toivo - 01-13-2019 Bona'beri Jones would make a fine running back. As a wide receiver, Jones is so darn fast. He's also elusive, and gets a lot of Yards After Catch. He can break free of defenders and get the much coveted YAC. Jones would be able to slot in at the RB position and be somewhat elusive and effective. Bona'beri Jones often wonders if switching to running back would be the best option at this point. He could make switch positions and still be effective. Besides that, perhaps Bona'beri Jones would be a decent quarterback. It's a demanding position, but Jones is ready to rise to whatever occasion is needed. The versatility of a wide receiver, running back, and quarterback would make Bona'beri Jones a much sought after prize in the upcoming drafts. Here at Bona'beri Jones' camp, we've been practicing hard at becoming the elite talent that makes headlines, earns big checks, and dominates the foe. A second player to Bona'beri Jones? Definitely would be a kicker. Bona'beri Jones II would be able to dominate the foe from the kicks. There are a lot of considerations when responding to this point task, and while kicker is a tough position, a lonely one, it would be the best for Bona'beri Jones II.
