(S1) - PT #3 - Rivals - Ghostspeed - 06-24-2017 Since the beginning of the Preseason my rival has been the "projected" Cooper Christmas. The "projected" Christmas is an elite red zone target capable of taking double coverage all game and still getting the game winning TD in the last second. My rival is confident and relaxed and able to handle even the most annoying and derogitory questions in stride. My rival is everything that the promise of such immense potential could be and would become the one and only. The Season 1 Cooper Christmas is a dismal failure instead of being the one and only he is scrambling just to stay with the pack of the one of many. Season 1 is the idiot who never caught on to the 'need for speed' war and instead spent more on Hands only to see week in and week out in the play by play pass dropped -incomplete. .....like some sick perverse Charlie Brown comic strip. Season 1 has lost his swagger and his easy going nature has soured and turned into an irritated hostile edginess. The rival is a dream a superstar in the making. The reality a frustrating, inconsistent , and extremely unacceptable version. Only my stubborn nature has kept me from rejecting this completely and walking away. Code: 208 (S1) - PT #3 - Rivals - Valtookan - 06-24-2017 You know what is annoying? YES, I AM WRITING THIS! CURRENTLY! (S1) - PT #3 - Rivals - ADwyer87 - 06-25-2017 My rival? Probably Timote Shoate. I find him guarding me usually when we play against each other. In our matchups I have gotten 5 catches for 58 yards and he has gotten 11 tackles and 3 pass defense. He might have had the edge for now, but it was a close one. Now I will get to torch him in a different way, as the QB! I hope I throw TDs to everyone who Shoate is covering. It will be my pleasure to throw on him all day! It will be really interesting to see me going from catching passed over these corners, to throwing over them. Luckily, my great talent is being an all-around athlete that can play at every position. I shouldn't have much of a problem transitioning. Either way, I will be a secondary shredder! Shoate and I's rivalry goes back to the NSFL Draft Combine. Me and him were both paired up in the international players section and we had a battle for the ages. One play I would burn him for a TD, the other he would jump coverage perfectly and get the pick. Our rivalry is mostly a friendly one, we talk a lot outside of games, but we can get serious at times, and pushing and shoving after whistles isn't exactly out of the ordinary. |
