What a surprise was for Lucas Knight to find out that there's another person with the same name as his. He noticed it when he was looking for a good place to take a self defense course and came across “The Karate Knight Academy” in San Antonio, Texas. Its main instructor is a 35 year old Shito-Ryu black belt that has amazing skills for martial arts (from what Lucas saw in some of the promotional videos from the academy’s website) plus two 3rd places in national championships. Knight decided out of curiosity to give a call to his namesake and ask him a bit about his life and career.
From the few minutes they could talk, it was disappointing to know that sensei Knight didn't like football at all, so he wasn't aware of the NSFL existence; however he said that he will watch a game or two just for the funny experience of seeing a player with a similar name. He thinks that is just a coincidence being named the same, since he just changed his first name to Lucas around 3 months ago as a sign of respect for his former karate teacher who was also named Lucas. His original name was Kyle, so he now goes by Lucas K. Knight.

Antonio Gabagool is a mid level manager in South Carolina. He has lived his life in relative anonymity. He has three children, on his second wife, and just got his own office at work. Sometimes he vacations to Florida, and one time his first wife took him on a vacation to Paris for seven days. He loved the Louvre. He was upset at how crowded the Mona Lisa room was. He loves going to the shore, but hates swimming because he is afraid of sharks. He loves applebees because of the consistency and the friendliness of the servers. He doesn't like politics, and tries to avoid conflicts in general. He attends his coworkers barbeques and his underlings think hes not the best manager, but they think he is a nice guy. He has season tickets to the local minor league baseball team, and his house is in a development on a cul-de-sac. He finally saved enough money to buy an air conditioner last year. He thinks its funny there is a professional football player with his same name, although he does not like that he plays for a team like Colorado, as he considers Colorado to be a "hippy pot smoking state". He is not racist, but his parents were.

Jammerson Irving is a unique name, and one that the sixty-five year old lawyer was particular proud of. Jammerson Irving and Sons Laws group was a highly respected law firm that served a wide variety of legal needs in northern Virginia - a law firm from built on the reputation of the Irving name, an old and highly respected family line. As retirement drew near, and Jammerson prepared to divest ownership in the firm to his sons, a sudden and unwelcome development occurred.
A young football player out of Jamaica began to make waves in the media, unfortunately not for his on the field play, but for his off the field antics. Now, the aging lawyer had to deal with many questions, jokes, and name calling as the transgressions of the younger Jammerson piled up. No, I did not steal poultry. No, I was no caught on film smoking marijuana. No, the young man disgraced from his college football team is not my son, is not related to me, is not an illegitimate love child the product of a bachelor party I attended in Jamaica. The venerable estate of the Irving's was deeply embarrassed by the multiple headlines and were happy when it seemed the ex-college player may fade into obscurity after being cut from the University at Buffalo.
The younger Jammerson was drafted and played an important role for the minor league Tijuana Luchadores. This was a concerning development, but lack of media for the Mexican minor league team, and relative good behavior provided no national news headlines. Better still was the fact the football player fell in the draft to the basement dwelling Arizona Outlaws, and seemed to have a short and unimpressive career ahead of him - this pleased the older Jammerson.
However, with a strong rookie campaign, and an unlikely playoff run by the Outlaws have once again brought some fame to the young tight end. The older Jammerson Irving has redoubled his efforts to establish his family name, and distance himself from the brash young, pot smoking hippy good for nothing football player.

Luckily, Brock Landers is the namesake of another famous person already, so this should be easy to elaborate on. Brock Landers’ parents named him after the ultra macho star of some 1970s erotic action thrillers, most notably Angels Live in my town. So I guess you could say OG Brock Landers had many jobs: Secret Agent, Lover of Ladies, International Man of Mystery, etc. Oddly enough, Brock Landers in the movies has a partner in his line of work named Chest Rockwell, which is coincidentally the name of a Kingston Mounties baseball player from the LA area as well.
Football Brock’s parents had been a big fan of the series and hoped that Brock would emulate the good attributes of the character: a sense of justice, determination, and charisma. Unfortunately for a while in High School and college it looked like he would take on the character’s negative qualities: violent temper, dim-witted, and disrespectful to a fault, especially towards women. That being said, football Brock Landers has begun to prove himself to be neither. Instead, he has begun his journey to becoming his own man. With his young family in tow, Brock has been settling in nicely and forming a dangerous partnership with Andrew Reese. Hopefully Reese can become the Chest Rockwell to Brock Landers’s Brock Landers.

Being graced with the name of a legend such as Cooter Bigsby can have its perks sometimes, especially for a male exotic dancer in Dallas TX. Cooter Bigsby is not his stage name either, he goes by his real name for his gigs and has seen a massive boost in attendance and private shows booked ever since Cooter became a household name as a professional simulation quarterback. Now when they get calls for bachelorette parties and such the ladies always like him to dress up in football gear with the pads and helmet and give them the full Cooter Bigsby experience. In an interview he said that his income has doubled ever since the draft and sees no signs of slowing down anytime soon as long as the phone calls and private parties keep getting booked. They love the idea of the 6' 7" 260lb monster of a sex machine Cooter lining up in their backfield and can't get enough of it. Cooter's agent was concerned about possible PR issues and had looked into filing suit against the other Bigsby but that was quickly shut down by the man himself, saying he's proud of the sex appeal that he can generated and wouldn't want to stifle the stripper's business by making him change his name.
