I decided to model my player, Dexter Banks II, after the typical cocky diva wide receiver that is so common in today’s NFL, so of course I chose to model Dexter’s personality after none other than Odell Beckham Jr. OBJ oozes swag and confidence and I have started to implement that into Dexter’s twitter account. To show Dexter’s confidence I’ve tweeted things such as, “finna go off #prospectbowl”, and Banks obviously has swag because he recognized the drip on the new KC Coyotes logo and responded on twitter with, “sheeeeeesh *fire emoji**eyes emoji*”. Additionally, I chose Robby Anderson as Banks’ render because of his undeniably badass dreads. I plan on continuing to show off Dexter’s swag through media pieces and graphics as his career progresses to the NSFL. On an actual football note, I’m trying to model my game after a top tier route runner like Antonio Brown. I figured if I make my player extremely fast and agile he’ll rack up the receptions and yards after the catch. So far that has come to fruition in his 4 DSFL games this season as he is fourth in receptions and second in yardage. Now all I need is a feud with my Quarterback and I’m right on track.

Peter is a multi athlete in the mold of greats like Jeff Wilson (cricket and rugby), Michael Jordon(basketball and baseball), and Russel Wilson(baseball and football)(Peter is also a SHL hockey Goalie - scheduling is a painful time for sure). But the player whose career he is modeling his NsFL career on is Trey Burton. Who you ask?

Trey Burton was an athletic college quarterback, who switch to TE before entering the NFL. His moment of glory was being a key part of the eagles offence that beat the invincible patriots, throwing that amazing TD to nick foles.

Peter started his career with the Marshalls as a Quarterback in the Dsfl, and has just changed position after being drafted by the Austin copperheads, to Tight End. He definitely dreams of pulling such a trick play and maybe throwing a game winning touch down to the likes of Euston Cole.

Also like Trey Burton, Peter sees himself as a balanced tight end that looks to acheive yards after catches flattening those smoll DBs that need to make up for that horrendous missed tackle by the linebacker.

But likewise looks to not lose quickly to that blitz rusher. Peter isn't going to be able to hold that block for long, hell Trey Burton can't either. They are not linemen. But, being able to get into position and land a punch that either kills the rushing momentum or pushes them off the line of the QB, that's what makes a great tight end. Catching passes is important. But in all seriousness, Jimmy Graham, Jordan Reed, these are just big wide receivers that play in the slot... Being a Tight end is about pass blocking, being the lead back blocking for the halfback, and being that underneath treat keeping the defense honest. It's not always flashy. The stats aren't always there, but those things help teams win. And keep defensman confused as to your true purpose on the field. That hesitation is all you need to get a edge.

Quentin Sinclair personality wise on the field is similar to Jalen Ramsey. He talks a lot of trash on the field even when losing. Although he rarely lines up across from someone he always makes sure that if there are any opponents in the area that they hear him loud and clear. He says it's all in good fun and that it actually helps him play his best. "It keeps me from over thinking things in game. My brain is busy coming up with insults that won't get me kicked off the field so I'm forced to rely on my instincts. It helps me play faster". Off the field Sinclair is much tamer preferring to keep to himself most days. "The difference in personality on the field and off the field is night and day. I swear he talks more on game day than the rest of the week combined" a Yeti coach said. Sinclair has previously said that he models his game after Eric Weddle because of his pre-snap abilities and being a leader of the defense. "I try to make sure that the secondary is in the right position for any given play. That's why I need to play instinctual, I have to be able to read the play quickly so that I can make sure everyone is in the position to best play defense. If I'm too slow on the pre-snap I can't communicate what play I think is coming and that leads to big offensive plays which are no good to us."

While their off the field personalities are certainly far different, Arizona Outlaws tight end Jammerson Irving has longed modeled game on the field, as well as the preperation off of it, to the legendary San Diego tight end and future Hall of Famer Antonio Gates. Both Irving and Gates did not start out their careers looking to play professional football, but the sport found them as their similar size led them to professional football from their original sports: sprinting for Irving and basketball for Gates. Irving was too heavy to have a legitimate shot as a world class sprinter, and Gates too short to play his preferred position on the basketball court. But each was oozing with athleticism, and through hard work, weight training and dedication, found away to the gridiron.

On the field, their games are also very similar. They use their big bodies and high end speed to get down feild, box their opponents out, and come down with the football. Gates blocking skills continued progress as he added pro strength and learned the finer nuances of the game, eventually becoming a force there as well. Jammerson hopes to follow in Gates' foot steps here, as he worked diligently to hone the smaller details that would allow to use his hands to open up running room for the trio of running backs on the outlaws roster. There is still a long career ahead for Irving, and even accomplishing half what his tight end role model was able would see him have n excellent professional career.

Since he was a child, Farley Hank has always modeled his game after the great Tampa Bay Buccaneer running back Charles Sims. Right now, Farley Hank might not be nearly on the same level as the all time great Charles Sims. But Farley Hank has always dreamt big, with every goal bigger than the last, and with his final and most prestigious goal being to reach Charles Sims status as one the best dual threat running backs of all time. Now Charles Sims was commonly known for ripping up defenses being a total beast both as an dominate running force with hours of highlight film and an league leading pass catcher one that Farley Hank strives to one day become. Charles Sims was also though lesser known for being an excellent teammate, always picking up his blocks; whether for his Quarterback or another for halfback like himself. And being overall a level headed guy always supporting his teammates and never stirring up controversy. To add Charles Sims has never found himself in any controversy at all, while still being one of the league best running back all due to his insane work ethic, one that Farley Hank believes everyone could learn something from.

Its obvious, Sunnycursed has clearly been cut in the mold of the great NFL Wide Receiver Antonio Brown. Just ask any other offensive player who has played with him over the years. He has been very vocal about where his team's problems come from, and none of those problems ever stem from his play. Even though he has brought success and championships to both Portland and Orange County, he has brought a lot of ire from his current and former teammates. One player, who asked to remain unnamed, said "he acts like he singlehandedly carried us to the championship. He was just one small part in the machine, but if he could write the history books, he'd probably say he dragged us on his back to glory."

Another place where he mimicks Antonio Brown is his wacky fashion. he once came to practice with beard dreads, and they had frosted tips to boot! His wardrobe would put Cam Newton to shame as well, as he has busted out some of the wackiest outfits in press conferences. Lucky for us, however, Sunnycursed has never decided to dye his mustache, or to call himself a weird nickname, so that is a plus at the very least.

Although I chose Matt Milano for my player render, I modeled my player after another Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander. Like Alexander, Sandy Bakshi has taken an unusual winding road to the pros and has often had to switch "jobs" on the defense from being a pass rusher, to a run stopper, to a coverage/tackling LB. I made Sandy short, stocky, but strong and athletic with the Speed Rusher type so that he could either rush the passer or chase down the ball carrier as a Mike. I admire Lorenzo's willingness to do whatever he can for the team and his leadership with Buffalo, he is one of a few players in the NFL that has played on both sides of the ball and has always been a special teams ace.

Although I thought my pro career might be closer to Lorenzo's, with each GM choosing to use me in a different way, Sandy has pretty much had one job since I created him. He has been basically a textbook Mike, staying in the second level to act as a speedy tackler and coverage guy. He has only rarely been asked to blitz or pass-rush and instead piles on lots of tackles and a few pass defenses/interceptions. In that sense I'm quite different from Lorenzo on the field, but Sandy is always ready to switch things up if his coach asks him to.
