(S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - ven_knight - 07-28-2019 As a cornerback, Lucas Knight is familiar with being fairly in the shadows when it comes to games because the position just doesn't have the same spotlight as a safety, except for an occasional interception from time to time. So since he has been playing defense for most of his career, Knight wonders how would he do if he switched places with an offensive player, for example, taking the role of his teammate RB Slim Shady. “You know, I started my career as a wide receiver and sometimes I liked to try some reps at running back just for the fun of it” ?said Lucas?. “As of now, with max speed and good hands I would think I have a shot to do a slightly better job than Shady as a receiver RB, although I’m not sure if I would be able to handle most of the running plays with a low strength stat. Surely, what I would aim for is to help as much as I can my QB on the ground and through the air, so he doesn't have to put the team on his shoulders every time, which is something Shady already tries to accomplish. Anyway, I don't think is a good idea to have this change now because there's just two good cornerbacks compared to the depth at RB on the team and to be honest, I don't see Slim having a good time as a defensive back. ” (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - majesiu - 07-28-2019 PBE PT (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - dieselj123 - 07-28-2019 SHL Welfare (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - Player1 - 07-28-2019 Sandy Bakshi has been playing defense since he was in high school, and has spent most of his time in the pros at Mike linebacker chasing down runningbacks and making tackles. That's why if he were to switch he would switch with Copperhead's stud RB Dick Wizardry. "I think it would be cool to be on the other side of the equation." Sandy told a reporter, "I'd have to slim down a bit and work on my speed but I think I could do it. I know I can tackle hard so I think I would be just as hard to tackle." At 6'2" and 255 pounds, Bakshi would be more of a fullback than a runningback, but even at that size he has impressive speed and agility. No pro RBs play at Bakshi's bulky weight, but some like Jerome Bettis, Jonathan Stewart, Mike Tolbert, Cookie Gilchrist, and even Larry Csonka have been close. Even Dick Wizardry himself is a plump 235 pounds. "I think Dick is a great runner," Sandy said, "I would love the opportunity to learn from him and then add some of my own flavor to my running style. I think I would be more aggressive and try to truck through tacklers to get extra yards. Knowing what it's like to play linebacker, I can say the last thing you want is to up against a guy who wants you to hit him, they make you try that much harder to bring them down." We may never know what Sandy Bakshi would be like as a runner, but one things certain: He would be entertaining. (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - Beebob - 07-28-2019 If Farley Hank ever had to swap positions with another teammate he believes it would have to be his team's premiere cornerback Emondov Emoji. Hank believes he'll fit just in as cornerback as he remembers that one time he played cornerback in a pick-up game in the local park 5 years ago to which he had 3 interceptions including an pick-six. Regarding the obvious drawback of not having a clue how to tackle, Hank believes all you have to do is "not let them catch the ball lol". Farley Hank also believes that not only will he do incredible in his new found position, that Emoji will also do spectacular in his new position too. Besides of course never actually running the ball in his career and having no idea even how to run the ball, gracefully bouncing in between your own linemen and opposing tacklers. Farley Hank knows that it does not matter and all you need is to do is just sprint in one direction, hope for the best, and you'll be great. Especially considering Emoji's high speed, that Hank has seen throughout practice and games. Hank even considers that he might even be a greater running back than Farley Hank himself. Haha, as if. (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - Bigred1580 - 07-28-2019 If Nate Swift could switch places with one member of the Wraiths, it would be the guy he goes up against every day in practice. Johnny Snuggles is a lock-down cornerback and one of the best in the league. Not only were they in the same draft class, but they both were standouts at the University of Nebraska together. Now they have been on the same team for the past three seasons going at it at every practice. Snuggles would be a great asset to the offense if he flipped over to the other side of the ball. He has 4 picks this year and a TD, so you know he has get ball skills. He has great speed and agility that make him a natural route runner and I’m sure he would be a star. If Swift flipped over, he would be a solid player right away. Of all the WR on the Wraiths, Swift has the most strength and agility would come in handy on both 50/50 balls, and locking down shifty moving wide outs. Also having even better hands will enable him to snag anything that comes his way. No doubt, both of us players like where we are at, but it would be fun to switch it up a bit, and see how we would do with a role reversal. (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - contacts - 07-28-2019 First of all, Jammerson Irving loves playing the tight end position, so asking him to pick a player to switch with is kind of cruel. He experimented with multiple positions when he walked on as an athlete to the University at Buffalo, so he does have some experience playing in other roles. If you had to put a gun to his head, Jammerson would switch positions to one he had some success in during his freshman year, taking Marc Spector's defensive end position. It would take Jammerson some time to learn the nuanced of the defensive side of the ball in the professional league, that is for sure, but he certainly has the requisite talent, size, and strength to get after the quarterback. With a season of honing particular skills needed by a defensive end, mainly learning how to tackle, the 6' 5'' tight end could actually end up thriving in the NSFL as a defensive end. One issue that could be thorny is penalties, as Jammerson already commits to many and they are that much worse on the defensive side of the ball. Seeing if he could overcome that would be a big question mark. As for Marc Spector, he could basically walk into the role of tight end as long as he works on his catching ability. He would be an immense figure on the outside of the offensive line at 6' 5'' and three hundred pounds, and already posses the speed, agility, and strength to be a top tier tight end. Him being inactive would put a big hurdle in him learning to catch, but hey if he catches one tackling the three hundred pound behemoth is gonna be a sight to see. (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - JBLAZE_THE_BOSS - 07-28-2019 I think that I am a pretty solid tight end, but if I were to swap with one of my teammates it would be the easiest decision of my career. I’ve always considered myself a dual threat, so I think that I would be an awesome quarterback if Showbiz suddenly had to stop playing. I could be the first player to throw a touchdown pass to himself 40 yards down the field. I already have the respect of the offense, so it would be a natural transition if I got under center. I am taller than most quarterbacks, and smarter than nearly every defensive player in the league. I have a big arm, ask anyone who watches us practice. My game intelligence is unmatched by anyone else on the planet. I know that there are a lot of positions that I could be impactful at, but quarterback has always been a desire of mine. I feel like I could be a hall of famer both as a tight end and as a quarterback. I am a freak athlete and there would be defensive coordinators all over the league losing sleep trying to think of ways that they can stop me from torching them. Michael Vick was good, but I think I would be him and then some. [217] (S16) - PT3 - Trading Places - infinitempg - 07-28-2019 I mean I have had a lot of experience as a wide receiver in college and the DSFL, so it would probably be a fitting switch for me to swap positions with James Bishop. As I've learned, it doesn't take a lot to become an "okay" wide receiver, but to become one of the best in the game like James is takes years and years of hard work and insane training - which I don't have as a rookie. Heck, even our new draftee Laszlo Fourty-Two probably would be better than me as a wide receiver right now, since I spent a lot of my time in college playing running back and defensive back... but that's besides the point. I think if I were to take over for James at the WR1 spot, I'd have to really up my speed training and work on my agility to get past some of the great DBs in this league. I think I've still got a lot of the instinctual parts of being a decent wide receiver, but the mental game is only half the battle. I think James would make a great quarterback, however. Dude has an insane mind for the game, he understands the ins and outs and he's already a vocal locker room leader. We'd probably win a few more games with this switch actually... I think at some point in the future I'd love to at least run a few trick plays out at wide receiver. Maybe a Philly Special or a double pass? That would be really cool.
