3) Revenge
Written: Write 200 words about a team you’d like to get revenge on next season and why. Did they knock you out of the playoffs? Blow you out?
Graphic: Create a graphic on why the stats back up that you’ll beat them next time.

Ugarth is coming for the Buccaneers!! Those spineless, soulless scoundrels took to the seas with out victory in hand! They "blew us out of the water" once once, but twice this season! Ugarth doesn't like being shut out! Ugarth's coaches shouldn't have put him in pass coverage so much, especially when that runt Sarvepally was running wild on us! Next time we meet, Ugarth might just bring the blitz and tackle that weakling in the backfield, or smash their puny quarterback like he deserved. 10/22 in our first game? HAH! Puny quarterback - more like... an eighthback! He had to rely on stronger men to run the ball against us, because Ugarth was denying the middle. No more weaklings running past Ugarth, especially not ones wearing bright green and purple. What the hell is a buccaneer anyway? Some sort of squid? Some sort of squid lover?

6) Expansion
Written: There have been a lot of new players entering the league recently. If you were in charge of a new expansion team for the NSFL or DSFL, how would you go about it?
Graphics: Create a design for your new team.

I would take the league back to my homeland on the Sword Coast. Lots of heroic adventurers who maybe aren't so great at adventuring could make quite the life for themselves in the NSFL. Jarlaxel the Javelinier? I bet he'd make a good quarterback, even for a dark elf. What about Indominus the Indominable? He's the tallest of the dwarves, so tall there's even rumors he might be human! Imagine him on the offensive line. There'd be no way to get past him, besides... maybe... a safety blitz leaping over his head. And speaking of safeties, what about Manius the Free? It's practically in the name! Good branding opportunities, too, for all those puny business types. The Waterdeep Griffin Rider? The Baldur's Gate Hyena? Neverwinter Furriers? Those major cities already have the facilities in place to host grand gladiatorial events, and that's basically all football is anyway. Sans the blood, dismemberment, the murder... the beasts, the dismemberment by beasts... Actually, why not just combine the two sports? I can see it now. The Ironmountain Sentinels locked in a fierce melee against the Everwoods Glade Warriors, brawling over the pig-skin as the home team crowd roars, screaming at the referees to begin the bloodletting.

9) Brotherly Love
Written: We always talk about what teams and players are our rivals. This season, give me what team or player you have a soft spot for.

My quarterback, the Xecutioner. He's the only human on this so-called warband that even has a title. The Executioner in a tribe is a much sought after position, and I know he must have worked very hard to earn his place. Sadly, I have not been able to attend any of the executions this season, and I'm afraid next season if Xec gets called up, I won't be able to attend any of the executions because of the schedule. It'll be a shame to see him go, but I know he'll go on and make his new warband happy. Hopefully that Warband that takes him doesn't already have an executioner, or... well, I can imagine a lot of bloodletting to come. In fact, I hope the new warband accepts him, meek though he is. Often times there's a lot of hazing between orcs... These humans thought it was funny on our first road game to lean a trash can full of water against Ugarth's door, but he showed them the next night by leaving a goat's head in all of their gym bags. Hopefully Xec has learned a few valuable lessons in our time together that will serve him well in his new warband.

Playoff Review
Yikes. That is one of few words that can capture the composure the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers displayed on the field during the Ultimini. I just got flagged for even mentioning them, but to continue.Myrtle Beach looked horrendous out there as they accumulated more than 10 YES more than 10 penalties for 140+ yards. And a very crucial penalty on a touchdown, which was brought back. It was about as pretty as watching the Federalists and the Southern Democratic Republicans fight over where to put our capital back in the late 1700’s. Minnesota was able to capitalize on Myrtle Beach’s mistakes, absolutely demolishing them on the grandest stage. Their stars aligned and their stars gave off a bright light as they only recorded four penalties. With such a huge margin of penalties, one does have to wonder if home field advantage played a part here. As Myrtle Beach had a historic defense that looked as solid as a piece of ice hurling it’s way towards the sun. Minnesota once again took a giant dump on some big mouths for the second year in a row as they silenced the haters and force fed them a hearty heaping of cooked crow.

Rivalry Post
So, you decided to comment on my deceased mother. Who died while I was a sick lad, unable to help or provide for her in any way shape or form. You so desperately seek my attention, you’d go as far as to do that. You seek rivalry to the point there are no lines you won’t cross it seems. Such a shame that talent is being wasted with the mind you hold.I’m honestly not sure what you thought you’d get from this, you run around and call me weak for blocking an internet troll. A man with no morals. Yet, you still sit here seeking my validation. The fact of the matter is, you are jealous of me. You are jealous of the way I came and made a name for myself. I put Princeton on the fucking map in terms of football and recruitment. I’m a dual athlete who has more talent in my pinky toe than you have ever shown. Which is a lot, because I will admit you have talent. But the talent will land you nowhere if you don’t learn to shut the hell up and just play football. Who gives a shit about twitter beef? Who gives a shit about trash talk? My mother, whom you apparently don’t respect, always taught me to let my actions speak for me rather than whipping up a shit filled sandwich to fling until it sticks to a wall. So Zamir, I leave you with this. Shut the fuck up and play football. I have the honor to be your obedient servant, A. Ham.

Brotherly Love
The man, the myth… The legend. Bruce Buckley. How can you hate him? You can’t, and let me tell you why. Dude is from Australia and NOT a punter or kicker? That man has some balls and a serious dong on him to be playing on the offensive line. That and he has moxie. A type of attitude you don’t see often. He talks a big game, but he has the potential to back every single word he says up. The ego is there, the competitive attitude is there. I’ve grown to like him, because he reminds me of myself. Doesn’t take shit from anyone, and doesn’t care for the “twitter beef.” Rather, he wants to put in the work. And you have got to respect that. There aren’t many o line coming into this league, seeing how the men we have now are talented. But that isn’t stopping him, no it’s fueling him and his aggression. And this is why he might be not only my favorite player in this draft class, but one of my closest friends. Even if he doesn’t feel the same towards me. This man, this myth. This legend of a human being, is the steal of the S22 draft if he doesn’t go in the top 5 rounds.

Interview a star

You came into the league in season 14, played for 8 long years. Your first season in the Developmental Simulation Football League, you made it to the pro bowl. The following season, you were drafted number one overall in the National Simulation Football League draft. Once again, you made it to the pro bowl for the NSFL. The following year, you won the Ultimus. That’s quite a legacy to leave behind there. So why are you leaving it all behind? Why hang the cleats now? I’m sure I’m not the only person wondering why.

Brock: I’ve talked a little in the past about my desire to make amends with my family. I’ve put them through a lot over the past few years and I realize that I’ll never be able to be the man I want to be as long as I have to focus on playing on the highest level in the NSFL every year. I also failed to take care of my health with all of the partying, and I’m legitimately worried that I won’t be able to walk by the time I’m forty if I keep taking the punishment that a pro football player takes. So it was just a judgement call. All of the factors lined up for me to call it quits this season so I think it’s the right time. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Taco of the Baltimore Hawks for trading for me and giving me one last shot at an Ultimus. Unfortunately it wasn’t our year.

Speaking of being traded, how did it feel to have done what you did for your team and to be hauled away for Scorp? Are there any bitter feelings between you two as players? Or your old team?

Brock: Jimbo is an old friend of mine from Norfolk so I was glad to see him go to Arizona in my place. As for being traded, it hurt at first, but I understand the business reasoning. Arizona was looking to get picks in order to rebuild and Baltimore needed me for a push for the Ultimus after losing my old friend Ahri in free agency. So I just put my head down and worked. At one point I wanted to be an Outlaw for life, but I’m glad I got to experience another team in my career before I called it quits. All love for both teams here.

Alright Brock, let’s get into the nitty gritty. What are some of the things you hated the most about the NSFL, what would you change if you could? What kind of problems did you face in your career? And do you have any tips on how the upcoming rookie class can overcome these kinds of problems?

Brock: I can’t think of anything I hate about the NSFL, there are always rules that could be changed, or decisions by management you don’t agree with, but I don’t think it’s a systematic failure. In my career I faced several challenges mostly of my own doing. Partying, drinking, girls, divorce, not seeing my son. It all really weighed on me. So getting the chance to drop football, and focus on myself and my family feels like an absolute blessing right now. If any young players ask me for advice I always tell them the same thing. Work as hard as you did to get to this level every day, and work twice as hard when you get home. That’s the key to a successful career and life in the NSFL.

I just want to come out and thank you for your time with this interview. It means a lot to be able to talk to an NSFL legend face to face. I have one final question for you, before you go. What’s next for Brock Landers?

Brock: Finally time to live the simple life. I’ve made enough money to support me for a lifetime. I’m just so glad that I get to relax and spend some time with my family. Thanks so much for giving me the chance to say goodbye. To all the Norfolk, Arizona, and Baltimore fans out there I want you to know I love you all from the bottom of my heart, truly. If you see me around, I’d love to meet you and take a picture or sign an autograph, so feel free to approach me. Until then, Landers out.

1. Okay so here is my prediction of the final game in the DSFL this season. The Minnesota Grey Ducks are playing some other team who does not matter. The Grey Ducks are looking to re claim the title this season after winning it last season on a last minute FG by the great Banana Man Silver Banana. This season the game might be no where near as close as it was in the past. This game will be dominated by kickers as any good playoff game would be whats going to happen this season is that the challengers in the title game will win the toss and immediately begin the game with an onside kick. What will insue afte this is the greatest kicking game ever as the challengers will continue to march into FG range and kick for 3 on 1st down each time, and then recover an onside kick right after. This will have them up 15-0 at the half, and the Grey Ducks will not have touched the ball. In response to this, the Greyducks will start the 2nd half with an onside kick and repete the same process tying the game up at 15 with one final drive. Here Banana will complete the kicking comeback and win the game for the Greyducks 18-15.

4. My greatest rival is probably my teammate Thor Kirkby, you know one of those guys who thinks he is holier than God and can not be touched by anyone in the league. Yes he is a Linebacker and I am a kicker, but this does not lessen the rivalry that we have. Maybe he is afraid of my great performances in seasons past where I put up huge kicking numbers while he struggled to even make the team since he sucks. Or maybe is it him being jealous of me being carried off the field after hitting the game winning kick last season. Either way the dude never liked me and its shocking that we have been on, and will continue to be on the same team moving forward since we both are likely moving up to be Yeti next season. I am willing to carry his ass for the rest of my career, but let us all know, I deserve bigger rings than he does. Dude is a glorified bench warmer so comparing him to me is outrageous. I don’t think I will be able to play with his dumb ass for the rest of my career, maybe I demand COL trades him in the near future.
5. Okay so moving forward if I were to be the GM of my DSFL team I think my first priority would be getting a new kicker. Its going to be a large step going from the elite kicker in Banana to a rookie but this is a step that must be taken, so that Botty mc bot bot isn’t kicking for the team next season and likely leaving the Grey Ducks leaving lots of points on the board. The next step is replacing Waldo, the QB for the team who will not be playing for then next season as well. This will be a big replacement since this dude was an elite qb and the new GM in town will be asked to fill a big open hole in the offense. Third large hole to fill is at LB. Need to replace Kirkby somehow, and this has been a problem for the last few seasons and no GM has decided to do this. LB is a position of huge importance and the Greyducks have been stuck with a shitbag LB at that slot for two seasons now. This is of greatest importance whether or not Kirkby plays in MN or in COL next season since he is an awful LB.
6. Okay so expansion is something I love to talk about. Lets start with location and finding a good home for an NSFL team with a good logo. First off the league needs a team in an underrepresented area in sports. We are a diverse league and our team locations should reflect this. I propose we put the team in Moosejaw as this would say we are serious about getting Canadians into the league long term. Since Canada is cold we need a logo to try and get people into the stadium so lets try and make it enticing to people who know nothing about Moosejaw, we are going to go with the Moosejaw Sunbears to help get people into the stadium who think it might actually be warm in Moosejaw. Next for team building we need to prioritize the kicking game. Having a team with 5-50 kickers will be the goal. This will allow for unique formations where the opposition will not know where the ball is going on kickoffs and or punts. Also we will likely miss fewer kicks since we all know kickers only miss due to bad holds and with a kicker holding we are much more likely to succeed. This is how I would build my team.

Task 1 Playoff Review

What an amazing Ultimus game! Who could have predicted the Copperhead’s going all the way and upsetting the Wraiths? It was a tough matchup for the Copperheads. The Copperheads were ranked in the middle of the pack in terms of yards allowed and yards gained on offense. But the Copperheads are more of a bend, but not break defense only allowing 20 point per game putting them at number 1 in this category. Whereas the Wraiths dominated in yard production and yards allowed in all categories, there biggest trouble during the year was points allowed, allowing 22.6 points per game putting them at number 5 in this category.

Yard production was not a problem for either team with each team going for over 400 yards in total offense. However, where the Wraiths struggled was in the air. Bigsby had trouble connecting with his receivers all night attempting 48 passes but only connecting on 23 of those attempts and throwing for 2 interceptions.

The story was different for the Copperheads. Cole was lighting up the field the entire night connecting on 68% of his passes, throwing four touchdowns ending the night with a rating of 128. And when Cole has trouble with his receivers opening up, he was able to use his feet rushing for 71 yards on 10 attempts. What a great game! With Cole’s performance I would have to give him the game ball.

Task 6 Expansion

The Central Valley Aggies should be the next expansion team for the DSFL. There are currently no DSFL teams located in California for the Orange County Otters and San Jose Sabercats to recruit from. The Central Valley is a large geographical area located in the middle of California surround by mountains with great views of the Sierra Nevadas to the East. It ranges from Bakersfield in the south to Redding in the north and includes the cities of Sacramento and Fresno. The Valley is majorly under served by major sports teams and is only served by minor league baseball teams and small named colleges. A major sports team would be a major draw to the locale. Ideal locations for the stadium could either be Fresno which is central to all other California cities or Sacramento which is due east from the Bay Area.

The Aggies would be the mascot for the new DSFL team based in the Central Valley. Agriculture is the biggest industry in the Central Valley boasting $50 billion in agricultural output and producing 40% of the nation's nuts and fruits. Agriculture is core to the lives of those living in the area and the Aggies nickname is a great representation of the locals and encompasses the many different aspects agriculture impacts their lives.

Task 8

Deshun Jones (S22) - DT - Scouting Report

Standing at 6'6" puts Deshun Jones in the 96th percentile at his position. While many would say this may put him at a disadvantage with a high center of mass. His tape at Cal Poly shows he can get just as low as anyone on the line. In addition with an arm length of 34 1/2", gives Jones an additional threat to quarterbacks the few times per game that he is not applying pressure to the quarterbacks. He
averages just under 2 batted balls per game.

There is a legitimate concern about Jones speed and agility. While he is not at the top of his class in these aspects, his arm length and strength more than make up his other deficiencies. An additional benefit of his arm length prevents interior lineman from getting into a good blocking position as their arm lengths cannot contend with Jones'. Paired with Jones' strength, he does not need special moves or speed to get around defenders as he just bulldozes 1, 2, or even 3 defenders causing the pocket to collapse which creates continuous pressure to quarterbacks throughout the game.

Most scouts will immediately overlook Jones coming from a non-FBS school. They'll say, "Wait until he plays against real offensive lineman." To which I think, "Yes, Please! Just you wait and see!"

Task 19 - K/P Appreciation

I want to take some time this ultimus week to appreciate the performance of Alex Dasistwirklichseinnachname. He is a S15 veteran who has been taken for granted for most of his career. You don’t think much of kickers when they are doing their job, but as soon as they make one mistake you want their head on the chopping block. Dasistwirklichseinnachname had an amazing postseason that made it possible for the Otters to win the Ultimus. Dasistwirklichseinnachname had 6 made field goals in his 3 postseason games making a 43- and 45-yard field goals against the Outlaws. But where he shined the most happened against the Wraiths in the Ultimus. His three field goals where the deciding factor between being crowned champions and being forgotten in obscurity.

We also can’t forget his punting performance either. Dasistwirklichseinnachname accumulated 15 punts averaging nearly 50 yards with three of those punts landing inside the 20 of his opponents. The field advantage game that Dasistwirklichseinnachname provided also made him an unsung hero, pinning the Wraiths twice inside the twenty. His first inside 20 pinning was a booming 64-yard punt that put the Wraiths next possession at the 11-yard line. His other pinning was a another long punt of 57 yards, causing both possessions by the Wraiths to be scoreless.

Playoff Prediction- 203 total words ( I typed this up before the game)

As we look at the ultimus match between the Copperheads and Wraiths, we look at two teams who finished at the top of their conferences. The Wraiths finished on the year 9-4 and have run away with both of their games in the playoffs so far, while the Copperheads finished 8-5 on the year and have been involved in two closer matchups in the playoffs. The Wraiths are the better team in this match, as they have been all year. The Wraiths will look to draw from the home crowd and bring home the Ultimus Trophy. I think this one will be a lot closer than the Wraiths want, and will come down to the run game. The team that can control the clock and tire out the opposing defense with their run game will come out on top. When you look at the Copperheads you look at how well their defense has been all year, allow the least amount of points throughout all the the NSFL, but will their defense be able to hold up one more time while on the road in a very noisy stadium. My final prediction for this one is a Wraiths win with a final score 30-20

Revenge - 203 Words

Man a revenge game? If I could play the Minnesota Grey Ducks all 14 games next year I would be all for it. I know every Coyote is itching to get back at them for knocking us out of the playoffs. We went 1-3 on the year vs the Grey Ducks with our last two seasonal matchups and playoff match up being blowouts. They were not our best played games, and I know the Coyotes are a lot better than what they showed. Another reason I want revenge is because my MLN manager is on that team and I want to have bragging rights over him. The Grey ducks finished the year 12-2 but I don’t think they are as good as that record says they are, and I think next year will be a completely different outcome, with the Coyotes coming out on top of the division, and eventually hosting that trophy. My prediction is that the Coyotes finish the year 3-1 against the Ducks next year which will make the difference in the standings. The Grey Ducks better have a good draft this year, or they are in trouble next year. Coyotes travel in packs and we are on the hunt.

Rivalry - 206 Words

My rival is easily Lefty Louis, which is weird since he is on my team. Lefty and I have been rivals since the college days, where he thought Kickers were athletes, and I constantly had to prove him wrong. When we played Washington in college I had to make sure I got my jabs in on both twitter and in the pre game warmups. It may be weird seeing a defensive lineman having a rival who is a kicker, but we both embrace it and have fun fueling each other. I am hoping that when we meet in the NSFL we are on opposing teams so I can block a few of his kicks. Don’t even get me started on his sub par Rocket league abilities, the man is a liability on the pitch. I feel bad for whatever NSFL team takes the chance on this kicker, as he is average at best. Lefty is also a big rival of mine in MLN even though we are on the same team there as well, and we always try to outdo each other. Lefty may have won this year with him winning MVP, but I will be back to show that kid who is the superior athlete

Brotherly Love - 208 Words

Jackmerius Tacktheritrix is one player I have a soft spot, this fellow DE is such a hard worker who I know will do big things in the NSFL. I played alongside this beast in the prospect bowl and man was he a grinder, he didn’t care who was in front of him, he just wanted to do his job and lay a big hit on whoever had the ball. I also play other fake sports with Jackmerius. We are on a golf team together where we went out and won two straight majors. Our last major did not go as planned, but we are focused on getting back our swing and winning a third. Jackmerius and myself are also on the same MLN team the Slayers. We are the best up the middle combo in the entire MLN, no double play is too hard for us to turn. This past season in MLN the Slayers won their second ring, which was a great time, after it Jackmerius and I went out and partied our asses off like bro’s do. I am hoping to land on the same team as Jackmerius in the NSFL as Offensive Lines will be screwed if they gotta try to block both of us

In the opening round of this season's playoffs the New Orleans Second Line welcomed perennial powerhouse the Orange County Otters to NOLA to get the playoffs kicked off. Even with home field advantage going to the Second Line, no one on the team felt particularly comfortable going up against a franchise like Orange County and all the success they have had. Although New Orleans seemed to test well, the regular season showed that the testing doesn't matter one bit to the sim engine. New Orleans needed a fast start, and they ended up scoring the first touchdown of the game thanks to a Forrest Gump rushing touchdown. The Otters would score the next touchdown, but miss the extra point. It would turn out that the extra point wouldn't matter in the end though. New Orleans would be the only team to score in the second and third quarters, building a 20-6 lead going into the fourth quarter and adding yet another FG to start the fourth quarter. QB Franklin Armstrong would go on to rip off an impressive touchdown run for the Otters, but it wouldn't be enough as they fell to the Second Line 23-13. Lacking offense overall, the player of the game on offense ended up being Armstrong, who also threw the Otters' first TD. Defensively, rookie Ben Tu'inukuafe of New Orleans crushed it with two sacks and picked up the defensive player of the game.

Written: Write a scouting report for one of the incoming draftees in either the NSFL or DSFL

What better player to scout than myself? Ben Slothlisberger is a late entry to the Season 21 DSFL draft as a QB, and there have been rumblings with the new DSFL franchises that there could be a high demand for QB's. Ben is a gunslinger quarterback who spent his college days chucking the rock for the Central Michigan Chippewas. Living up to his last name, he does not have a ton of speed or agility (50 speed/45 agility), so some DSFL teams may be worried about Slothlisberger's ability to get away from pass rushers. But with a solid arm and throwing accuracy (71 and 70), Ben can sling the ball a bit with a clean pocket. His elevated intelligence (70) should also help Slothlisberger avoid interceptions, or at least he hopes so. Joining late sets Ben back a bit in comparison to the other QB's in his DSFL draft class, and there are some other great prospects. He's already gotten back in the gym and trained this week, and he'll have some banked TPE to play with once he's drafted so hopefully being able to help mold their future QB will be appealing to DSFL teams. I plan on max earning with full equipment etc... but I definitely need to make some money! Overall I feel like I'm a fairly solid prospect and hope I can help whatever team wants me.

3. Revenge

I’ll keep it simple for the first one. The time I would like to get revenge on next season would be Austin. On the simplest level, they beat us in the conference championship. I knew it would be a tough match going on the road there and things were pretty close, but we weren’t able to do it. (Quick aside: truth be told, I want to take revenge on the sim itself. I mean, what backward ass system measures the spot of the ball from the side and not the middle??? Also, why in the world would the left corner be responsible for guarding the left receiver? Just asinine). Anyways, it was a hard-fought battle, so I tip my cap to Austin. They came out of nowhere this year and have put the league on notice. I would think they are the definite underdog against the Wraiths, but they certainly have a chance to win it all. I really want revenge because of a couple factors. One, losing two games favored at nearly 90% blew for a lot of reasons. 1. It took us out of home field advantage. 2. Getting screwed that hard doesn’t feel good… usually. Heading into the championship, NOLA came in at a team TPE of 13,912, compared to Austin’s 11,215. Broken down per player, it comes out to a slightly close 662 for NOLA compared to 590 for Austin. It stings when you certainly feel like you have the more talented roster. Oh well, that’s why we play the game right?

6. Expansion

This is a topic that I find to be a lot of fun. I know that there is a lot of work involved with an expansion, so it is a decision that is not taken lightly. For most of us who don’t see all the inner workings and behind the scenes efforts of the work put into the league, it probably seems like it’s not such a big commitment. That being said, our recruitment sizes have been thiccc lately, so it seems inevitable. If I were in charge of a DSFL expansion team, there would be a lot of different things to get situated. The first thing to really focus on is the branding. At the end of the day, it doesn’t change the results of what happens on the field. Still, people are drawn to good branding and it could offer an edge in getting people onto the team. Something that would actually affect game results would be the staff assembled. Being a new team, there isn’t a list of alums that could be pulled from. Getting the right people in early is key. With being new, you can create whatever environment you want which is huge. Rebranding can have a similar affect, but this time there is no baggage. I would try encouraging players to buy in, offering something like naming the stadium or creating some award named after the team’s best player the first season. Something unique early on to get people excited.

7. Next Year

Man, I would have to go back and check if I did this category last season. Whether I did or not, I’m hoping this is the last time I have to do this topic. I truly believe that New Orleans has what it takes to win it all. I’m sure a lot of players feel this away about their teams and rightfully so. It’s a talented league and it would be pretty lame if most teams didn’t actually feel like they could win it all. NOLA has some great things going for it. For one, we made it to the conference championship this season. It was a pretty close game too, meaning that we didn’t just make it and get blown out. As far as the regular season itself, our conference was a tight race all the way up to the finish. I suppose we could have been bounced from the playoffs altogether, showing how close this league can be. Losing two games where we were heavily favored really came back to bite us. Wining those two would have secured home field advantage in the conference championship and possibly even the Ultimus. HFA isn’t everything, but I would rather have it any game that might be even remotely close. Our roster is well-balanced and still mostly in a peak window. We will have some players entering regression, but overall we are still in a good position. It would be ideal to reinforce our future with some keys picks this coming draft too.

8. Scouting Report

There have been a lot of big names that have came out of the DSFL this season. In a couple weeks, we will see how takes home coveted awards and is showered with honors from this past season. One player that I want to touch on will most likely receive none of that attention. He has a relatively small amount of TPE, but what he has done on the field has been quite amazing this year. That player is Jeremy Quellers. Jeremy was a mid-round draft pick for the Kansas City Coyotes. He is fairly quiet in rookie chat, but he pops into his team locker room. He is also usually commenting on match streams, but most wouldn’t even know it was him. Jeremy finished the season with 5 interceptions and a pick six. He also had 15 pass deflections. His 5 interceptions really stand out to me. He was the Coyotes defensive player of the game at least two different weeks, meaning that his interceptions always came at opportune times. He also had a big-time pick in the prospect bowl, where his team would go on to win it all. He among the other secondary leaders such as my boy Victor Moreno and a potential first round pick in FS Murphy. It speaks volumes to his play style. He is an assuming guy who keeps his head down and works hard.

3) Revenge -> http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=...ndpost&p=260804

Hi, I'm Devaunte Sackpieder. You may not know my name yet, but that's okay. You will soon. I'm a S22 Rookie, so you'll hopefully see me as a starter on a DSFL team. However, last season I was a waiver addition for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers BBB. As I'm sure you're aware, Myrtle Beach went to the Ultimini, and unfortunately lost in crushing fashion to the Minnesota Gray Ducks MIN. This coming season I anticipate being drafted to a DSFL team, and I fully intend on getting revenge on those quacks for how they ended my season. Along with that, I fully intend on helping to take my team to the Ultimini, and finishing what I couldn't last year. Even now, just thinking about the failure of last year and how I feel I could've done more lights a fire within me. And this season, I plan on burning the rest of this league down with my play. I don't plan on letting any of my opponents get in my way. I want to thank my former teammates on Myrtle Beach for showing me how to get to the Ultimini, and I plan on taking what I've learned from them and helping take my team there next year. This year, is my year.

9) Brotherly Love -> http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=...ndpost&p=260901

As a new player to NSFL and DSFL, I don't really have any strong connections with many players. Of course, I have my son and the person who introduced me to the NSFL and DSFL in Rapid Eagle, whom I have a soft spot for. I'm also very familiar with Jeffrey LaVert, as he is also my son and a friend I've known since MLR, 2k Sim, and HangTime. There are also 2 players who have recently joined that I know quite well in Ed Ball and Walter White. I say all this in order to explain that I will not be choosing one of these players to write about, as I feel that would be too easy. Instead, I'm writing about fellow DSFL prospect Denarius Krackle. He is was born in a small island country of Micronesia, and has overcome many obstacles to get to this point in his life. I respect his grind, not even letting sleep get in the way of his pursuit of his dream of reaching NSFL stardom. There is not a player in either league right now that I'd be more honored to play alongside right now.

12) Interview a Star

Devaunte Sackpieder interview with RapidEagle

Devaunte: Question 1. What’s your initial reaction to the Ultimini game, and ultimately your team’s inability to close out the season?

Rapid: It was a shock for sure, dissapointing even. I know we are a better team than that. We needed to be more disciplined, it's hard to win a game where you have almost five times as many penalty yards. I needed to be better as well, 1 tackle in a championship game isn't what I'm made of.

Devaunte: Question 2. You were 2nd in the league in sacks this year, as a rookie no less. If you could leave any words of wisdom to the incoming DSFL prospects about what it takes to make yourself known, what would they be?

Rapid: My number one piece of advice is to keep up with your weekly tasks and don't be afraid to ask for help on your builds. I know I wasted a few TPE early on but if your looking for sacks strength and speed are valuable.

Devaunte: Question 3. Do you have any final words to your DSFL team, as you’ll be entering the NSFL draft?

Rapid: I want to thank Kacey Dream and Dax Frost for taking a chance on me in the DSFL draft, it was a record breaking season that ended just short. If I end up in the NSFL next season I'll definitely miss my rum guzzling mates. If I'm sent back down to DSFL I'll do everything in my power to lead us back to the Ultimini.

Devaunte: Question 4. Do you have a preferred NSFL team to be drafted to? Whether you grew up a fan, close to your family, or you just really like their uniforms, any particular favorite?

Rapid: I've had talks with just about every NSFL's teams GMs during the predraft process. While playing in my hometown Philly would be cool I can't say I have a favorite landing spot. I'd be glad to play for just about any of these teams.
