This has been an interesting season in Wraiths country. As I have said before, I have been in either the Ultimini or Ultimus in every single damn season I have been in this league but have yet to win anything! In past seasons we have been a powerhouse but this year we got off to a bit of a rocky start. Fortunately for the team and myself though, we have really found our stride in recent weeks and suddenly we are a forced to be reckoned with once again. The real turning point on the season for us was a HUGE win against the undefeated juggernaut NOLA last week that has catapulted our momentum into the stratosphere. That is why I think this is our year and why I think we will win it all this year. Not only are we due for a win finally but we have had to overcome some serious adversity this season and are riding some serious momentum into the playoffs. At this point I honestly don't think that anyone in our way is going to be able to stop us and this season is going to culminate in the perfect storm that results in us finally winning the big one.

Well, I have two things that may make us win at the Colorado Yeti. It will more than likely be the Orange County Otters but if we are going by the Yeti winning it will be because we hit the 7-6 sweet spot. Otters did it when they first on it and the team before them were 7-6 too. I believe that is the best record to have and it flukes you to the championship!

The only other way is how the Yeti always play. Living and dying by the Wolfie. Our Quarter Back is how we may or may not win it all. When he does well we always seem to manage to just score an insane amount and get our catchers really going and when he does not we are pretty bad. So if he can just have 3 decent games that could be a way we get to win the cup. Having said that I think the only realistic way this happens in the final is that we win by them not showing up or RNG of the game just favouring us for once against big odds.

I would say it comes down to my player getting the yards for us but WR is an awful position and that ain't happening.

Written Option: The playoffs are just around the corner. For some of us, the siren call of the championship is still within reach; for others, it’s already effectively been put out of reach. In 200 words or more, make the case why your team will be the one to win the Ultimus or Ultimini; or, reflect on how you think your team needs to improve in order to get back into contention next year.

Having just joined the Minnesota Grey Ducks team, I don't think I can really speak about what's been going on during the entire season for the simple fact that I haven't been there. By looking at the DSFL standings, you could tell that Minneosta was towards the bottom and I'm not here to speculate why that is. I can however speak about the last few days that I've been with the team. Since coming into the team, I have felt very happy to be in this locker room, the guys are extremely helpful and the bond between the players is fantastic. I think that it is a long shot to make the playoffs but if we can somehow squeak into the final spot, we might have a chance to make a run at it this year.

For the following season, I can't talk about what is going to happen because I don't know if I will be back on the Grey Ducks or with another team. It really depends on which team I go to in the draft. That will determine whether I can say that we will go into the new season as contenders or a team looking to improve and make the playoffs. However, I think that Minnesota will continue to improve as a team and as current players get better and with the additions of new players who will compete for starting jobs, the team will only see improvements.

The current standings make it difficult for the Norfolk Seawolves to make it into the playoffs based on schedule, but they do control their own destiny and if they do manage to get in they will be a definite contender for the Ultimini thanks to the people on the roster. I would love to list them all here, but given I have a meeting in about five minutes I am going to focus on the defensive side of the ball here. That is where my client plays and that is really where this team shines I would say. Although I would like to shout out our great receivers and tight ends especially Kevin Koh playing hard through difficulty, the quarterback by committee who have been phenomenal locker room personalities, and the running back committee who are exceptional from the first snap to the last.

My client Magnus Rikiya is obviously the first name I can mention as they are the second best defensive tackle in the league. Standing next to them is the phenomenal send down Dorfus Jimbo Jr who has been a phenomenal leader of the defensive line. Combined with Godrick Fallstrum at the tackle position and Buster Brownce at the end position and the Seawolves have a phenomenal set of people on the defensive line. I would say the best, but I am admittedly biased here.

Standing behind them are a lovely set of linebackers who can make plays all over the field. The way they work together makes me hesitant to praise any one of them over the others as their speed as the hit men of the defense is phenomenal and they really work well gang tackling. Ryan Scott second year is the comfortable leader of the pack, but Jack Banks, Shepherd Marshall, and Spike Suzuki are all doing everything right as well. Thanks to the quality of the defensive line the Seawolves tend to play a 4-3 base, but with this linebacker corps they have the depth to play however they please. A nightmare for opposing offenses.

The secondary is where this team really shines though. Amazing Atlas Quin at cornerback, magnificent Matt 'Son of Havoc' Cross at safety, terrific Thubba Bumper at the other cornerback spot, and wonderful Wesley Eriksen at the other safety spot. This secondary is super speedy and can support the rest of the defense for days. Coverage is out of this world and I trust them completely to give my man Magnus time to make plays in the backfield.

So the case for this team winning the Ultimini is the fact that the people who make it up have put in the work. Of course any given Sunday always applies, but I have faith week in and week out that this team is always in it. Things have not gone their way consistently thus far and I will readily admit that fact. That said their worst loss was by just fifteen points way back in week two. They just need the chaos of the universe to get out of their way and I have hired every witch within a hundred miles of Norfolk to try to make that happen.

Do you believe in teams of Destiny? You should, this Baltimore Hawks team sure feels like it’s on a direct path straight to the Ultimus. Currently leading the Divison by one game the Baltimore hawks are looking at a first round bye going into the final game of the season against OCO. Having the first round bye alleviates the pressure that this team has felt in previous years when trying to make this push. Our elite Qb Havran has returned to QBotY form throwing for 30 on the season and Maddox has shown that regression doesn’t affect them catching 14 TDs for over 1000 yards. Baltimore RBs seem to be making a strong argument for best backfield right now both RBs pushing 100 yard games each week. On the other side of the ball the Secondary is elite as they always have been, but there is a new found pressure on the D-Line. Some key returners from free agency and several impact rookies have increase the pressure on opposing Qbs. This team has fought hard in every game so far this season and if I were an opposing team I would not want to see this Hawks team in the playoffs has they have no weak link.

Carl Wheezer has dreamed ever since the invention of the steam engine to be able to head towards the Utimini and run all of the footballs and pick up all of those yards to get all of those touchdowns so that he could win the trophy and hoist it over his head like you see sometimes in those pictures which is pretty cool and iconic-looking. However, it is a tricky pickle of a situation because Wheezer is not currently on a Development Simulation Football League team because he just entered the world of the National Simulation Football League and is currently waiting to pass all of his physicals to make sure that all of his starting TPE and such is applied properly and he isn't just some gargantuan scrub that can't do the maths. It's very unknown whether Wheezer's team will make the playoffs or not because it is currently up in the air whether the team he hops onto will be in it. However, a full year of Carl Wheezer on a team go a long way towards making the Ultimini or whatever it's called for next season, so any DSFL GMs that may be conveniently reading this point task should go ahead and pick him up on waivers or something like that, I think I actually re-enter the draft after this season so I have no clue.

There isn’t much else to say when it comes to “why the S21 Kansas City Coyotes are going to the Ultimini.” The truth is that the Coyotes are on a tear right now and have set themselves up to be one of the top teams in consideration for the title. Sitting with the best record, the Coyotes have had amazing runs twice this season with two four game win streaks. With a receiving core that could make some NSFL teams jealous and a defense with plenty of top picks, the Coyotes are on their way to possibly making history.

Some of these historic marks for the season involve the famed 10-4 record that the Coyotes can’t seem to break. The last time the team hit that mark was in S12 when they won the Ultimini and it seems highly likely that his could happen again. Another amazing power of the Coyotes is that they lead the North and the league in multiple stats. They lead the league in points scored, points allowed, and passing yards allowed. They lead the North in those stats as well and yards per game, yards allowed per game, and passing yards per game. This historic team could be remembered for a long time with a win at the Ultimini.

The Luchadores season has been a rollercoaster. We split our first three days to start 3-3. After a 2-0 week and an easier schedule ahead of us, we were sitting at 5-3 with dreams of being the top seed. We've now lost four games in a row, and our dreams are all but shattered. We need to catch Norfolk who sits at 6-6 so we can sneak into the playoffs. If we get in, I think we have a chance.

We have several members of our team who have been late-bloomers. WR Thomas Passman, S Literally Just A. Hexagon, and RB Julio Tirtwidjaja all have made late season pushes to upgrade, so if we get in we'll be a dangerous team. We have the best QB tandem in the league with Slothlisberger and Waters, and two top five receivers in yardage with Passman and Vequain. We have a three headed RB machine in Ed Barker, Reggie Robert Roger Ramey Gilbert, and Julio T., who receive blocking help from our offensive line led by Calvin G.

If we fail to reach the playoffs, Tijuana should look to upgrade at defensive line. The Luchadores whiffed on several defensive line prospects in the draft, and as a result, they have been gashed on the ground recently, despite having strong linebackers and solid safeties. Assuming that most of their players are sent down after the NSFL draft, the Luchadores should have a really great offense, and should focus on acquiring two or three top defensive linemen and a couple of defensive backs.
