The name change was certainly needed and I am happy that the league finally has a name that is both more representative of the league itself and cannot be confused for Not Safe For Life. That said, there are certainly still areas that could see significant improvement. The first, in my opinion, is something I wrote an article about recently. Free Agency in this league is quite boring and a significant amount of the league simply extends their contracts indefinitely at near minimum salary with the team they were originally drafted to. I believe that adding a window at the end of a contract season where other teams could negotiate with soon-to-be free agents could create a far more interesting free agency. Although my experience with free agency was very brief between opting out of my contract and signing an extension a day or so later, it was fun having other teams all vocally expressing interest in me and this is something that I think should be encouraged league-wide. If you want to read the full article, you may do so here. Additionally, I believe that the league should seriously consider going back to allowing predictions on every game day. I believe the easiest way to do this would be to remove trivia altogether, but I’m not entirely sure I like that suggestion. I do believe trivia could be improved by moving the responses to google forms in a similar fashion to how PBE does their primetime predictions. A form could be created with the questions and users could submit their answers via the form and then comment in the thread within a few minutes of submitting. This would cut down on the chances of users committing fraud. The answers would be put out in a spreadsheet and I believe would be far easier to grade, hopefully speeding up the turnaround time for claimable TPE. These are my suggestions for improving the league!

Luke looked at his checkbook, confused. “I thought I had money left in my account!” he said, frustrated. How have I overdrawn by $500k?”

This banker nodded sagely on the other side of a formidable wooden desk. “Yes, we see this problem frequently with the younger players.” He pivoted his computer around to show Skywalker the screen. “You see here, this is where your deposits are made, and here, this is where your withdrawals are made. It seems as though your withdrawals didn’t process until a month after you made them.”

Luke looked shocked. “But where are my deposits? I thought I was getting money for social media promotions!”

The banker grinned. “Well, that you have to be more understanding of. There are a lot of players in the league, especially if you consider ISFL and the DSFL. It’s obviously going to take time to go through everyone’s twitter accounts.”

“Fine, fine,” Luke grumbled. “But shouldn’t there be some sort of change for withdrawals? Shouldn’t those automatically process? Isn’t there some sort of website or software system where you can go in and immediately process withdrawals?”

The banker sighed. “I’ll look into it,” he said, “but unless you’re volunteering to make one, it might be difficult.”

Luke laughed. “I don’t think I have the tech savvy to make anything. But I get your point. Well, maybe in the future someone can get around to it. Well, thank you for the information.”

The banker nodded and stood up to offer his hand. “Same time next week?” he asked.

“Sure thing, Granddad,” Luke said as he gave his granddad their signature handshake. "Love you. See you then!"

I think the DSFL could take some changes to make it more fun. Why not make it something similar to College Rules?
A new user comes in, gets drafted or claimed on waivers. No changes there. But then, he has 4 years max to play in the DSFL and he can choose when he wants to be eligible for the ISFL draft. Imagine someone who created a QB and he gets to know that no team in the ISFL will need a QB for another 2 seasons.. So he can decide to become an eligible draftee only when it is more convenient.
So, there is no minimum TPE to become eligible, everyone can get drafted as long as they decide to do so. All you have to do is, before a certain season starts, to announce that you will be present for the ISFL draft. Simple.
The 250 TPE limit remains the same, so if you stay down for the 4 seasons, you will only be banking TPE like now. But if you bank for 4 seasons, when you get to the big leagues, you will be an impact player straight away.
I would also like for the amount of seasons before regression to only start when you get to the ISFL, but in this case, your TPE would be capped at 250 for your entire "college" career.
Something to think about and some details to be ironed.

The name change from NSFL to the ISFL was actually a good rebranding. As many people know the general use of the acronym NSFL on the internet typically means not safe for looking, which usually meant its not safe to look at in either a work setting or public setting. So it is nice to actually not explain to people why I am googling NSFL or on a NSFL jcink site. Personally I don’t know much about how things are run in this league but it would be nice to see some transparency. Also who punishes the leader of the entire group? Or is the leader allowed to do whatever they would like? What about who holds GM’s accountable? It seems like there are a few bad apples in the league and at times do not get punished and if they do it is just a fine which is nothing in a virtual league that doesn’t really use money at all. Which leads me to the next suggestion is finding a use for money. Currently it is just used for weekly training and buying equipment every season. You can easily stack up money and there really is no incentive to use it which creates no reason to do media or other media paying things because money really doesn’t have a use. Also trivia I think should either change or be removed because currently its just a copy and paste situation. (Easy points but you don’t have to try at all.) Also many people have already stated but I believe if you are sent to the DSFL it shouldn't count against you for seasons used up. Doesn't make sense for someone to be in the DSFL for 2-3 years and then start to regress when they have only had maybe 3 seasons in the ISFL. Just my two cents.

I was not familiar with the neo-nazi connection, but I support the name change 100%. Unfortunate that it has to come to a name change, but its better to not be anywhere near groups like that.

As a new player, I don´t have too many ideas on what should or could be different, but perhaps in the future the International part in the name allows the league to consider adding teams to different corners of the world? I think that would be something that brings unique element into this league, just picture an African and European football team playing against each other - how cool is that? How you would do that is a different thing obviously, I realize that the teams in the league already have a lot of history behind them and removing that just to add a team to another corner of the world could feel harsh to many, even if its rebranding and new location, but nobody remembers the old teams soon, that is a shame.

Still think the international aspect is something that the league should consider taking advantage of somehow, its in the name after all. If not done already, at very least the league should collect some data on where the users in the league are from and try to paint a picture that the league is an international league, could help with the recruitment as well. I´m sure there are football forums and places in even the smallest corners of the internet. (Players from different countries could help to spread the message)

Thus far I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience in the league. I appreciate the recent name change. One improvement I would make would be a more balanced job/salary system. From the perspective of a newcomer to the league, it appears that jobs are held by those that have been around for a long time and receive very high salaries. Since I have joined, I have been on the lookout for a league job and I have found none. It would be great if there were more jobs available to league members in order to get league money if they want to. This is a minor change, as I do not think that this would impact people very much, but it is one thing that I have noticed.

The only other change I might make is a slightly longer season and league expansion. The way I see it, the more football, the bigger the community, the more fun. If there are enough people interested, I believe that a league expansion would make the league more competitive and more fun for everyone involved. As for the longer season, I am already coming to the end of my first season in the league and it happened very quickly. Those more familiar with the league can likely speak to the appropriateness of the length of the season, but it is a small suggestion.
All in all I do not think the league needs any major changes, but these are my suggestions!

So I first would like to introduce myself. This is my first week in the league, so I am Brane_Chyld aka Terry Tate, office Linebacker. So the rest of this is going to be more less redundant, as I am new and don't know my a** from a hole in the ground at the moment, so from an improvement aspect, I really don't have much to say. I don't even understand why we changed the name at all. I can say that the simulator that you use leaves a lot to be desired. My guess is that's because there is a lack of better options, so I will not hold that against you. I do think your Rookie mentors could use some work. While I am not new to Sim leagues, I would have liked to have had a mentor touch base with me via discord to really let me know what's what, and that they are there for any questions. I really didn't get the feeling of having much help, but then again, I really didn't need it. Other than that I cannot really think of anything off the top of my head, as like I said before, I am one of the new guys and I am really trying to get my bearings on this new league.
