I know what he's talking about because it happened to me a bunch with M17. Haven't seen it yet in M18. Could be CPU assist settings that need turned off. That's what I found to be the culprit in M17. If you're still on the fence, I would explore the settings. It you've already thrown in the towel for this year, I won't try to persuade you back.

Also, everyone needs to pay attention to quitting games. It says how many times everyone has started each of their games and if someone is repeatedly taking multiple tries for their games that isn't cool.
Hey I assume you're talking about me here. My xbox shut off in the middle of the second quarter of my game due to my roommate tripping over the power cord and it wouldn't let me resume the game. It won't happen again though or if something does happen I will clip the game crashing every time I tried to load the game
