(S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - Rindiee - 10-09-2017 We always wondered why rumor had it that Boggs was gonna make a switch to baseball... it all makes sense now... he's just.... ![]() gay as hell (S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - Deusolis - 10-09-2017 Prior to the Wraiths stunning implosion, the least-talked about conspiracy in the league was the team's league-controlling cabal. Although the team is now on the outside of the playoffs looking in, it's still worth investigating their stranglehold on league affairs. Of course, it all starts at the top, as one of their most prominent players just happens to be the league commissioner. And with super-users RainDelay and KcKolbe also suiting up for Yellowknife, the team has much in the way of soft HO influence. Unlike ErMura and the Outlaws, who are obviously rigging the league[1], the Wraiths succeed by keeping their activities on the DL and throwing the rest of us off their scent. Just as Daybe was beginning to acquire power, they traded him to Colorado for a bag of peanuts[2]. And Archon, who was quickly becoming the league's most notorious member, disappeared for "personal reasons" [3], perhaps another person taken out by Bzerkap. Despite their current lack of success, it's the Wraiths, not the Outlaws, who are using subversive measures to their own advantage. Instead of cheating to win, they're cheating to lose. [1] I know it's all jokes, but nothing sets narratives more quickly than humor. Running jokes become embedded as common accepted knowledge far faster than we think. It's probably not healthy for the league that we all joke about a team having a really awesome run of success being a collection of cheaters. [2] No disrespect to Wyatt Fulton and whoever else was involved in the trade, accuracy is often sacrificed for literary flurry. [3] Seriously guys, can we be nicer to people. (S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - Apache_Chief - 10-09-2017 The most obvious conspiracies are ones that come about when something seems too good to be true. One of those things would be the Outlaws losing a game, as we most recently saw. But what if; they lost on purpose? The players were seen prior to the game just relaxing in their locker room, playing cards, drinking fine wines, anything that wasn't practicing. When they came out, they seemed aloof and as if they were without a care in the world. Now, why would a top tier organization do something like this? Sometimes teams underestimate their opponents, but that's not what's going on here. My theory? They lost a game to sell more tickets. By losing a game, people begin to gain hope that this great organization can truly be bested, and thus more people watch the games. I bet that the Head Office of the NSFL "$-convinced-$" the Outlaws that this was in their best interest and allowed for something like this to happen. We all know that there's some rigging going on, but for it to be against the Outlaws, now that would be a real shocker. Or the Outlaws just lost, but my money is on the organization losing on purpose. (S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - Aenir - 10-09-2017 (10-07-2017, 03:23 PM)Muford Wrote:One conspiracy I’ve come to conclude throughout the league is a simple one. I believe that Chris Orosz and Vincent Sharpei are the same people. You never see them talking at the same times, you never get them in the voice chat together, yeah they did one Play by Play together, the first one, but actually was that two people? Or was that just one person with a voice changer? Who knows, but supposedly those two players are brothers in real life. Yeah, “Brothers”. It is believed to be said that in the quietest of nights, you can hear one of the brothers crying in the distance. Does that mean either Vincent or Chris tied the other one up and now controls both accounts? Or is that just the cat outside being an asshole? It really depends on who you ask and how you look at it, but possibly Sharpei is jealous since Orosz stopped him from being a quarterback back in Pee-Wee Football. So the ultimate joke is to take over and become Orosz? These are conspiracies that will have to be delved deeper into to finally fully grasp and understand what is going on there. Who’s the one in control? My vote goes to Sharpei. This is wrong, pay no attention to the raving lunatic OL trying to fit inside a Quarterback jersey! There is no one locked up in a dungeon with padded walls and a very cask of Amontillado vibe. much less chained with links strong enough even for Jayce Tuck. It is also false that they are pretending to be the same person, its MUCH more likely the impostor is just some actor that one (or the other) trained to play the part, its cheaper and gives (theoretically) some sort of an alibi in case of shenanigans such as people coming to visit. This is in fact a truthful statement of being. BUT if one of them were to assume the other's identity, this is how it would happen... Not that I'm saying it HAS happened mind you... it would probably start with a visit to either Yellowknife or San Jose, where you could last establish an independent identity. It would follow up with some friendly ribbing, and the gift of a glass of (spiked) Gatorade. One would theoretically need to hire an actor as a body double to go with one team or another, who had already been coached up in the mannerisms and activities of the identity in question. Then its quite simple, the abducted being is brought home and put inside the theoretical dungeon where... *yelps as he is dragged back into a dark alleyway* 236 (S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - YoloSwag420 - 10-09-2017 ![]() (S3) - Weekend PT #5 - Conspiracies - Player1 - 10-09-2017 It's no secret that the Orange County Otters have an Achilles' heel, a fatal weakness which they have still not been able to overcome. Then again, neither has anyone else. That weakness is the Arizona Outlaws, a team which no matter home or away, regular season or playoffs, always defeats the Otters. The "obvious" answer is that the Outlaws are and have been the best team in the league up to this point, but it just doesn't add up. You just have to look at the roster to see why. At QB, King Bronko sucks, he honestly has no talent and yet he is the second highest rated QB in the league. How can that be except league manipulation? Secondly, their vaunted defense is about to set historically low numbers of points allowed despite players like Hariff Ernston spending more time complaining about not getting enough attention than they do training for games. If you ask this author, the league is secretly allowing Outlaws players to take TPE-enhancing drugs because they know that Outlaws fans are bandwagoners and fairweather losers, who will abandon the franchise if their team doesn't win on a consistent basis. It's a shame that hard-working, blue collar fans in cities like Santa Ana and Yellowknife have to endure watching their teams fall short every year when they should be playing in the championship. |
