There is a new rivalry involving NSFL players but there is a catch with this one. That catch is that both involve players that are not currently throwing passes in the NSFL or the DSFL. Which rivalry is it? The rivalry of the Christs is the rivalry. This holy war of similar named quarterbacks is a recent one brought on by the graduation and ensuing NSFL career of one Joliet L. Christ. People have been stating that this is the second coming of Jameis but Joliet has been quick to point out that this is not the case. Joliet L. Christ from Brookings, South Dakota, played at the University of South Dakota while Jameis Christ played at Florida State. Jameis played his first season in season 1 at San Jose and then played season 2 in Philadelphia in the NSFL never making good on the promise of what could have been a solid career. After two seasons, Jameis was done and never heard from again. Joliet has repeatedly trashed Jameis' name in order to separate himself from the retired underwhelming player. In a quote, Joliet has said, "I will define the last name Christ in the NSFL, there will always be a Christ better than me but it for sure as hell ain't off the grid, piece of garbage Jameis Christ, I am not him, he only wishes he could be me." After this, after a long time in hiding, Jameis came out to comment on the young Christ's comments. "This kid don't know what it take. Do I wish my career was more successful yes but I worked hard to make it there, he don't even know. What the f&^* is South Dakota anyways?" We will see how Joliet will fare but he does not have much to live up to when it comes to the last name of Christ...in the NSFL anyways.

There is a fledgling rivalry between the New Orleans Second Line and Orange County Otters building in the National Simulation Football League's American Simulation Football Conference. Two teams once separated by a great divide have quickly become fierce competitors with one another as the New Orleans Second Line have assembled a dangerous collection of talent to rival the Orange County Otters' dominance in the conference. Things have only become more tense as a result of one Jaylon Broxton, former safety for the New Orleans Second Line, betraying his own comrades and joining the villainous Orange County Otters. To hear Broxton tell it, the move was in no way personal and simply representative of a fantastic career opportunity to improve the life of he and his family. To hear the New Orleans Second Line players tell it, Broxton is a disgusting, no-good, traitorous, treacherous, dirty, rotten, betraying SNAKE. Apparently the constant bullying has taken a toll on Broxton's private life as he frequently cries himself to sleep as his mind wrestles between wanting to remain friends with his former teammates and wanting to decapitate them because they are awful bullies who can't just accept that he is a man capable of making his own decisions and not some mindless zombie who obeys Bovo's every word. These days it seems like Broxton's only remaining friend with the team is their quarterback, Borkus Maximus III. The two remain privately close but publicly hostile toward each other in an attempt to hide their friendship from their respective teams.

Cameron Taylor is a pretty easy going guy. Not too many rivalries. He keeps track of those around him, but never enough to form an enemy or a competitive acquaintance. Guys like Carlito Crush and Darren Morris come to mind. They are fellow S5 draftees and it's always nice to look at their training and see where the sit compared to where Cameron is at now. Wouldn't call it a rivalry, but there is some competition.

That being said, I think any team in win now mode has the same rival. The Orange County Otters are on pretty much everyone's hit list. Aside from last season's fluke miracle run by the Liberty, the Otters have been the time to beat. The Wraiths and the Otters have been the team to beat in their respective divisions for a long time now and it's sucks to continually lose in the playoffs to them. The Wraiths and Otters have similar regression numbers as well as similar numbers of active on the squad so it seems Otters and Wraiths are on the same trajectory to meet in the finals again. Eventually, the Wraiths will get the better of their rivals. Hopefully it's this year.
