(S10) - PT 5 - Reunions - YoungTB - 09-30-2018 ne actually generally major reunion that specifically particularly went down this season definitely actually was when the fairly particularly great WR Carter Bush particularly really played against the Liberty in a sort of pretty big way, or so they mostly thought. Carter Bush really particularly was traded from the Philadelphia Liberty to the Baltimore Hawks at the trade deadline for the cost of a very sort of second rounder, which definitely mostly is quite significant in a subtle way. Philly understood the trade and specifically literally was very sort of certain that they’d particularly essentially be able to for all intents and purposes really get him back from Baltimore in FA in a particularly definitely big way, demonstrating how one actually very major reunion that specifically really went down this season definitely basically was when the fairly kind of great WR Carter Bush particularly really played against the Liberty in a sort of kind of big way in a generally major way. It basically really was purely a business move and both the Liberty and the Hawks understood this in a subtle way, demonstrating that carter Bush really actually was traded from the Philadelphia Liberty to the Baltimore Hawks at the trade deadline for the cost of a very particularly second rounder, which definitely generally is quite significant, really contrary to popular belief. However, it actually basically was a shot to the heart for Liberty fans to generally mostly hear of a fan pretty very favorite going to their most actually basically hated rival, the Baltimore Hawks, which literally for the most part is fairly significant, or so they for the most part thought. They didn’t like the move at first, but once they recognized how definitely fairly much it benefitted the team and it’s future, they accepted the trade and literally essentially were optimistic about the coming seasons to come, which mostly specifically shows that philly understood the trade and kind of actually was definitely actually certain that they’d essentially mostly be able to actually generally get him back from Baltimore in FA, or so they mostly thought, showing how however, it actually basically was a shot to the heart for Liberty fans to generally actually hear of a fan pretty basically favorite going to their most actually specifically hated rival, the Baltimore Hawks, which literally actually is fairly significant in a actually big way. (S10) - PT 5 - Reunions - ralams123 - 09-30-2018 During Week 5 we saw the Yellow Knife Wraiths go to Orange County to face the Otters which brought in the first reunion between Tegan Atwell the first active player to leave the team in free agency against her former team. There wasn't a huge celebration but the fans showed their respect by giving a quick applause after the national anthem.Right before the kickoff Tegan went over to greet her old comrades greeted with smiles and laughter. The game itself was a blowout win for Yellowknife they torched Orange County through the air with Tegan bringing in 86 yards in only 4 catches without a touchdown. Post game the Orange County players invited the wide out to go out and eat with them as a little token of gratitude for all she has done with her time in the organization. At the local bar it was like she never left the players were all filled with laughter and joy and for that one night it was like the fan favorite Tegan was back on the team again. After the night ended Tegan went on her way back to Yellowknife making the Orange County players promise to play better and not hold back when they meet again in week 12. There was a pre-game ceremony for Tweed and everything he did for the Yeti as a runningback. In the early years there really wasn't much for the Yeti fans to hang their hats on. They made the ultimus in their first season but didn't win. Every season after that was marred by ineffective QB play, inept OL work, tragic game planning, failed rebuilds, player suspensions, and more. However, the one constant throughout was Boss Tweed plugging away trying to make something, anything, happen. The fans loved him for it. Even when he left the Yeti via trade he brought a great haul back in the form of three first round picks. I don't think the fans will ever forget his contributions. I believe all of these moments weighed heavily on Tweed's mind as he didn't perform his best throughout the game. The dynamic linebacker recorded two tackles, and two pass deflections. The pass deflections are definitely nice but he didn't execute his primary mission as a linebacker. Either way, Tweed waved to the crowd and the crowd cheered back. Perhaps the crowd will eb just as large for his potential HoF induction ceremony. (S10) - PT 5 - Reunions - Grapehead - 10-01-2018 SHL PT (S10) - PT 5 - Reunions - Phobospwns - 10-01-2018 This season saw the return of former San Jose stalwart Brad Pennington to his old stomping grounds, now with the Yellowknife Wraiths. Of course, the departure of Pennington was surrounded in controversy, with the common belief that he had requested to be traded away from San Jose last season. As one would expect, the SabreCats failthful didn't take kindly to that type of exit, so upon his arrival, Brad was showered with booze, and most likely, a fair amount of beer upon exiting the tunnel prior to the week 11 jolt. Despite the relentless stream of boos from the crowd raining down upon him, Pennington moved the ball readily at times- amassing 466 passing yards along the way. However, when it came to shrugging off his old teammates on the opposite side of the ball, he didn't have so much luck- tossing a stunning 4 interceptions in the contest. Perhaps the crowd noise had something to do with it? It's more likely that having practiced against him for so long, the defenders were all too aware of his decision making process. So, all in all, despite the massive yardage put up, the 2:4 TD:INT ratio was too much to overcome, and the SabreCats crowd was treated to a drubbing of the old San Jose QB, as their own man threw for 4 TD against 0 INT himself, making it easy on the SJ D to hone in against the pass game. In a vindicated bliss, fans left the stadium victorious, while Brad sauntered back to the team bus, doing his best to appear unaffected by the outcome. |
