(S14) PT 2 - Game day - Vedin - 04-06-2019 Jacob Rowan started by walking to his bathroom mirror and just looked at himself and tried to calm himself down. "You got this man, you got this!" He mumbled to himself before going straight to the kitchen. There he made himself some bacon and eggs and poured a glass of milk. Jacob is guilty of eating alot when he's nervous so after the bacon and eggs he grabbed a bag of chips and a bottle of pepsi. He sat down in his sofa and put on some The Office, mowing down chips and chugging cola made him relieved. Jacob as many others have felt after eating so much junk, disgusting and unhealthy. So he went into his garage where he has his own little gym. After hours in his garage lifting weights he looked at his phone " Shit i'm late!". (S14) PT 2 - Game day - SwagSloth - 04-06-2019 This season, game preparation has gone to a whole new level for Andrew Reese. You might not realize it from the box score, but to even play at the level he has been playing at, it’s taken tons of time and preparation. After all, making the leap from DT to QB is an incredible feat. Some would call it impossible. Others have even used the word unrealistic, but impossible sounds better, so we’ll stick with that. Reese has put countless hours into studying tape, doing cardio (to keep his weight down), and working with coaches to improve his accuracy and regain his instincts. As a Defensive Linemen, Reese spent a lot of time hanging out with his former linemen after practice, but these days, he has little time for fraternizing. And game day is the most important day of them all. Despite playing QB for many years as a youth and in college, he’s playing at a level well beyond anything he’s ever experienced and it’s taken every bit of focus he’s had to make it this far. The season has been a difficult one, but at this point, he can only hope that the hard work will pay off next season. 214 Words (S14) PT 2 - Game day - uncleleo#39;skomrade - 04-06-2019 PBE PT (S14) PT 2 - Game day - plantane - 04-06-2019 Xerxes Ridley is not a very superstitious man when it comes to anything. He believes that talent and preparation can supersede any sort of supernatural phenomena. That being said, he actually does have a very specific pre-game regimen that he follows to get his mind in the correct space before games. On game days, Ridley will usually call his mother while he eats breakfast to let her know how he is feeling and to talk about his excitement for the upcoming game. Often, this will include him talking through concerns he might have for the game while his mother just smiles and listens, oblivious to the football colloquialisms. After breakfast, Ridley joins up with this teammates to go over last minute scheme adjustments or to check on how everyone is doing. Ridley usually encourages his teammates to stretch even before the pregame warmup begins, as he fervently believes that the flexibility and improved blood flow is crucial to having a good game. From that, Ridley joins the team for the pregame warmup and sticks with everyone until the game begins. While Ridley's routine isn't particularly strenuous or involved, it is very important to him. There have been no games so far this season where he wasn't able to follow it, even while adjusting to the time differences for away games. Here is what he is planning on keeping as his routine: The night before, get ready for bed at 10:31 PST on the dot. His alarm is set for 7:30 PST. This could be difficult if the game is against an east coast opponent, but Sunnycursed is dedicated to the job. He eats a breakfast of scrambled eggs and ham. Sunnycursed makes sure to get the same driver to each game. Even if it isn't a home game, he will pay for the cab driver's plane ticket and hotel for the evening. When he gets to the practice facility, he makes sure to ask the coach about the weather. The first warm up he does is high knees. After that it doesn't really matter, because he did different exercises for both the games, but for both of them he started with high knees. He makes sure to stand on the far right of the sideline for the coin toss. After that, the game starts and he is good to go!
