After yet another disappointing season for the Liberty, Nacho headed home for the holidays. Nacho will spend this time with family and trying to figure out what went wrong as he is once again sitting at home for the playoffs. Nacho is reportedly not doing any film study or working out. He usually doesn't take any time off at all in these breaks, but he's decided after being in the league for five years that he has earned a break and a chance to recharge.
He'll go back to New Mexico to visit his family and to celebrate Christmas. His family has all sorts of traditions since he was a kid, and he's chosen to miss most of them the past several years to focus on his career. His teammates have been trying to contact him, but he's even turned his phone off.
He'll also get the chance to spend some time checking up on his Los Pollos Hermanos franchises. He's got them in excellent hands with the managers he's selected but they can always use his in person evaluation.
Nacho is looking forward to the new year and especially a new year of football coming up soon. Hopefully he and his team can recharge with the break and come back better than ever.

This season the Orange County Otters are hoping to cap off their holiday season with another Ultimus Championship. Some might consider that to be possibly too greedy of an ask considering their previous successes, but you never know if you don't ask, right? We certainly know how fortunate we have been to this point in league history, winning seven titles in total and two consecutively. With that in mind, all roads to the title currently run through Yellowknife, so anyone who wants a title for the holidays will be in close proximity to Santa Claus if they want to ask him face to face. I certainly know that I am going to make a trip up to the home of the Kringle's whether we go there to face Yellowknife or not. Luckily the Otters will be have plenty of time to keep warm with a first round bye that will be followed by a home game in the conference championship round. So whether they have to go up north to Yellowknife, or stay home (both in the event they advance past the conference championship) they'll have plenty of warmth saved up to brace themselves any winter weather. And that is quite a gift in itself.

The holidays are one of the best times to be an Outlaw. The amount of fun we have puts disneyland to shame. One of my favorite parts of the festivities is our secret santa game. In most games they set a reasonable gift limit, but not for us. Due to most NSFL players earning a large sum of money we set the gift limit high, at around…. 20 million dollars. When I learned of this tradition, I knew I had to go big. In my first season with the outlaws I had drawn Lamonte McKinnie. What could I possibly get Lamonte that he didn’t already have? Isn’t it quite obvious, once we exchanged gifts I gave him the keys to a warehouse. What was in the warehouse you may ask. Inside of the warehouse were tons of packets of hot sauce. Not the mild hot sauce, the really hot stuff. It was insane. Going into this year, I had obviously set the bar very high. So once I had drawn Andrew Reese, I knew I had to get something 100x better than last year’s. Not to mention, that this was going to be his final season so I had to make it special. What could I give to the person who had everything(except good stats for a couple of seasons). It was painfully obvious, I had to get him shrimp. Why shrimp? I don’t know, I was in the mood for seafood. When Andrew was asked about it he said, “Reese is thinking you're making a fat joke bc he's retired now”.

Well I’ll start by saying I hate Christmas and everything it stands for. My fiancé calls me the grinch because I despise this time of year. But as for New Years, well I like to have fun. This year I have bought out the vip lounge in a new hot spot in New York and plan on inviting my teammates to come and party with me. I have unlimited flow of booze and food to enjoy the night with. When it gets 11:20 we will all head upstairs to the roof and watch over the huge crowd in Time Square as people begin to anxiously await the start of the ball drop. We have a live DJ on the roof as well as some performances by G-Eazy, Drake, Mumford and Sons and Imagine Dragons.
I reached out to Sweet and some former teammates such as Gump and Slothface but have not heard back from them. I figured I worked hard to get where I’m at why not blow some money on friends and have a great time this New Years. I’m also personally sending out a invite to most of the league now. Feel free to join us in New York in New Years to celebrate the hard work we’ve all put into our success. Let’s bring in the new year in a drunken stuper. Just no drama and fighting or your gone.
Much love,
Jackson

Venus Powers is a huge fan of Christmas. The Pythons organization doesn’t schedule practices on Christmas Eve or Day, so on the 24th Venus packs her bags and flies back to San Antonio from Portland to be with her dad for the holidays. The two of them hang up a tree in the living room and decorate it with countless ornaments from her childhood. Then, they attend the evening mass before going out to eat at a nice restaurant in town. On the morning of Christmas itself, Venus surprises her dad with breakfast and coffee already made, and the two exchange a few gifts to one another. It’s then time to marathon some classic Christmas movies. They start with Home Alone, then move to Christmas Vacation and laugh at the Griswolds. From there they watch two more sentimental movies, the Muppets’ Christmas Carol and then It’s a Wonderful Life. The Powers household is decorated to the brim with Christmas detailing and decorations, and the two invite over many of their longtime neighbors for a large Christmas dinner. Early the next morning, Venus catches a flight out of San Antonio to reunite with her team in Portland and train up for the upcoming playoffs.

Franklin Armstrong doesn’t really celebrate Christmas. He’s more of a kwanza kind of guy but his family does put up a Christmas tree and give out gifts every year. He just doesn’t send out gift to the rest of the fam. He’s too busy playing football to really participate in an materialistic nonsense holiday about a birthday thousands and thousands of year ago. The truth is, no one knows when Jesus was born. And two, everyone agrees how Jesus was concepted, but the story doesn’t really make sense when you try to make him out to be a god.

Anyways, back to football, Armstrong is trying to win his 3rd straight Ultimus trophy and 3rd straight Ultimus MVP. The end of the season really destroyed him when it came to his MVP and Quarterback of the Year chances. He truly feels like he was robbed and he was in fact robbed. Both by the league and shoddy game plans. A true travesty really when he feels like he was so close to reaching the ultimate threshold of the NSFL. But overall, Armstrong would prefer the Ultimus anyways, and he’s eager for that to come to fruition once more. All that’s left is two games to win.
