Baffling to me that a member of HO (albeit an intern) would make such an inflammatory statement regarding this whole thing. Although I have my disagreements with how everything was handled, this to me is 100% unacceptable coming from someone who represents HO.

I like to think of my perspective and voice to be one that is of reason and stability. Being an intern I haven't been corrupted 100% of the way yet, so please feel free to contact me and talk about something you disagree with or if you just want more insight on this entire process. I'd love to discuss more with anyone and exchange reason and perspective.

HO chose to announce next to nothing regarding this firing and now is seemingly confused by people not pitt ng on reading caps in order to do what? Parse through minimal information?

There is a trend in HO holding back massive amounts of information for seemingly no reason other than to do so and it directly led to this response.

HO needed SOMEONE in the room excersizing common sense and clearly that did not happen. This could have been a very simple situation. A person was fired for numerous abuses of power in addition to doing a subpar job even by the extremely lax standards (that you let happen). Just explain all the offenses. Then announce that in light of these offenses (which include approving her own late or and approving some for her friends but not others who went I nat the same time), announce the HO audit. Then announce the results. With the information available.

"Bad stuff happened and she's fired" with a seemingly simultaneous seperate post of "and 80 of you lose tpe right now and in a few days we'll post the actual info for you" was never going to turn out well. Someone should have been able to see this. Instead of doubling down or can ndescendingly telling people to read this gs that aren't really there, some awareness would've been better.
