That’s quite a hard one for Vincent Sharpei Jr, as you know, since Football is just in his family’s blood, since his father was an Offensive Lineman turned Linebacker as he aged throughout his football career. It’s hard to think what Vincent Sharpei Jr., would be, but it would probably end up leading to another sport. He has friends and close relatives that participate in other sports, such as Hockey and Baseball, and potentially keeping sports in the mix would be something that would have had to happen to keep Vincent Sharpei Jr. on the ball. Other then that, he does have a relative that lives up in the Rocky Mountains, where he could potentially have been a farmer / goat herder? Is that what they are called? Either which way, Vincent Sharpei Jr. has a lot of friends and family throughout a plethora of different odd jobs and ends that he could have potentially ended up at. But, if we really had to guess, Vincent Sharpei Jr. probably would have been some farmer out in the middle of bum fuck nowhere, minding no one else’s business, and no one in his, just tending to the land he had and making a small living for himself, he doesn’t need much to be happy, just a small place to call home.

The ultimate factor that led Will Stern’s career to the ISFL was that he chose to play professionally for money, he wanted to make bank and saw this as the best way to do that. He knew he could compete with the best, so that made the choice a little easier.

If Stern never pursued a career in football, he probably would be an accountant which is what he got his major in. Stern loves numbers as much as he loves tackles and sacks, so counting up large quantities is no problem for him. Although this would make life much more boring, he would probably work his way up through management and become a branch manager or CEO of a small business at some point. He would also have a lot more free time, which would allow him to go to the casinos more often or work on his side hobby of playing the piano. Life would be much more lonely for Stern as he wouldn’t be working with a large group of people on a team either, however, Stern really enjoys the freedom of being independent so it wouldn’t bother him. Being an accountant wouldn’t be as glorious as being an ISFL defensive player, but it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world either. Stern would make an honest living off of that career and live a long happy life.

I have mentioned this before but Cliff Burton experienced a plethora of premonitions that pushed him away from his original goal of playing bass for a thrash metal quartet. In a situation that played out eerily similar to the film Final Destination, Burton saw flashes of his premature death in the weeks leading up to his audition for an up an coming band while in high school. At first the visions were played off as a result of some psychotropic extracurricular activities but eventually became too much to handle. Burton put down his bass and picked up the football instead. From that day on, the visions disappeared.

If Burton had never put down that bass guitar things would have been similar in some regards. Instead of thousands of fans screaming his name after a big time reception or lat game touchdown it would be after a total ripper of a bass solo. Burton’s body would also be battered in different way. Rather than constantly needing tune ups for twisted ankles and constant bruises it would be IV drips for hangovers after days long benders and illicit drugs by the boat load. As far as travel goes life would be almost the same with the major difference of not having to travel to Sweden.

If I hadn't become a football player then I doubt I would have stayed at my bar either, while being a bartender was fun I don't think it was for me long term so I still would have burnt it down for the insurance money. I am sure I would have simply gone back to becoming a man about town in my house in Statten Island. From there I would have rejoined my darling wife Nadja and my friend Nador, I guess that birk Colin would also still be there as well. I am sure that if I was back in Statten Island I would have continued to get into all sorts of adventures and shenanigans that could have potentially be used to be made into an award winning TV show. I am sure that I would have continued with fighting the local werewolves, avoiding witches who are trying to steal my seed and avoid (and probably fail) getting the attention of the vampiric Council (the fact the Baron died was not our fault, we only floated the idea of killing him). I think my life with football would be better so I am glad that I am here. Also please stop investigating the fact that people have been seemingly going missing when I appear at away matches, it is pure coincidence!

RE: (S30) PT 2 - Alternate History - Crunk - 07-30-2021

Tayshawn Crunk didn’t have many skills other than playing football when he was growing up, but he did have a level of drive and ambition that would probably have seen him OK no matter what he did.

On the field, he has developed a reputation as someone who talks a lot and has unshakeable confidence. He doesn’t care who he talks to and will try anything to get an advantage on his opponents. He also possesses a fair amount of charisma.

With this in mind, I think he would have made a good car salesman. No matter who rocks up at the dealership that day, Crunk would have the confidence to talk to them and the personality to talk them into buying a car that they didn’t really want when they walked in. He would make a decent living off commission.

These same skills would make real estate an option, though he doesn’t really like talking about interior design or knocking walls down for open plan living spaces.

Maybe if his life had gone differently and had less hope for the future, he would have done what all desperate people do - find religion. If so, Crunk would have made a hell of a preacher, but he also likes money so there’s a risk he could have been a televangelist

If Nick L. Back had not decided to gamble on football, his life might have been even more successful. You see, as a teenager, Back was fond both of music and of football. But with time passing he was forced to choose a career between the two and the prospect of football was more attractive at the time. Had he chosen to follow his musical aspiration this is probably what would have happened;
Finding playing the guitar and singing not too difficult, Back finds a few like minded people and forms a band. Ever the pretentious one, the band is forced to agree that Nickelback sounds like a good name. The band finds their sound in rock and alternative rock music. The initial gigs go well and the band rises to fame in Canada and internationally over time. A bit of drama later and Nick L. Back decides to change his name to Chad Kroeger to avoid confusion between himself and the band name. Over time, the band pumps out more and more generic music and break into stardom through the power of memes. “Photograph” and “Rockstar” become cult classics of wannabe rock music. Back, now Kroeger, is a global sensation and meme at the same time.

Well, Chuck chose to play football as a way to escape from his Texas upbringing. Not that there was anything wrong with his childhood or anything, he just did not enjoy living in Texas and longed for a new beginning. While at Dartmouth, Chuck was a very good offensive lineman, but by playing at a FCS school, he knew he needed to have a backup plan incase the jump in quality between FCS and the ISFL was too much. Chuck enjoyed school and even stayed an extra season to finish his degree (definitely not because he forgot to declare for the draft). He ended up majoring in architecture because the cute girl on his floor freshman year said she was taking an architecture class, so Chuck took it as an elective and ended up liking it so much that he majored in it. He even managed to find the time to do a pair of internships in the field, and really enjoyed them. His senior internship liked him so much that they gave him an open ended job offer for when his football career ended. Chuck truly enjoyed Architecture, and even helped redesign the Portland field when it changed after the end of season 25.

For Clemente, I built his backstory being a baseball player in the Dominican Republic that was recruited to play at the College level at Florida university. I think if he choose to stick with baseball he that would be one alternative reality. The one that interest me most tho is if my player choose to stay at Defensive Tackle and not move to Safety. i was having a very lack luster career as a Defensive Tackle. I was very frustrated with how my guy was doing, moving to Safety I have actually found some success in this league. I do wonder what would have happened if I stayed at defensive tackle. I wonder if I would have ever figured it out and become a perrinall pro bowler or someone to compete for positional awards. I think I made the right choice both for myself and the team, but everything could of been so close to working out differently. I am not sure what other things clemente would have found outside of football or baseball. I guess I could go for the triple threat and become a basketball player. There are a few dominicans in the nba I think. That I guess would be door number three.

Which such a big family , Lot Smith VIII is lucky when it comes to career opportunities  outside of football. Obviously since his father is a  bishop within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  it would make sense for Lot to follow in his dad's footsteps but Lot has never been the type for public speaking. Lot's main hobby outside of football is archery so working in an archery store would be a  dream job for Lot though retail has its own drawbacks. While at BYU, Lot got a degree in  wildlife and wildlands Conservations so  a job in the outdoors would definitely appeal to Lot and as some of his brothers already law enforcement, Lot Smith VIII becoming a  game warden seems like the most likely outcome from in away from football. Though he could also potentially become a park ranger depending on whether or not he would've chosen to stay in Utah or  to move back to his home state of Florida after his graduation from Bingham Young University.

As for what Lot's life would be like, it probably wouldn't be all that different from how his life is  now except without all of the fanfare and bright lights.  Given Lot's traditional  upbringing, he's not a  person attracted to the glitz and glamour of a professional athlete.
