ROOKIE POINT TASK

Welcome to the International Simulation Football League, new recruits! We know that being a first time sim league user is hard, so we decided to try and make things just a little easier by adding this point task exclusively for new members.

In this Point Task, we have 6 different tasks for you to complete. Each task will reward you 2 TPE to your player and 500K to your bank account. If you are not sure how to complete these tasks, feel free to ask a GM or a head office member!

Very important part of this: You need to link your exact post on this thread for your Tasks to be considered valid. For example, on Task 1, you need to use the link to your post, not the "First Free Training" thread link. This makes it easier for graders to check if you did it right, so we won't have to search through all the posts to find yours.

If you check, every post has a number on its top right. You go into that number, right click on it and then "Copy Link Location". That's the link you use on your tasks.

Only the current rookie class FIRSTGEN players (no recreates) are allowed to complete this point task 

The deadline to claim these tasks is your first game at the ISFL level.

Task 1 - Use Your Free Weekly Training

Every new user of the ISFL has the right to one free training. Training can be complete once each week and gets you more TPE than an activity check. However, training costs some in-game money, either 500K for 3 TPE, or 1M for 5 TPE

In order to claim your free training, navigate to the Player Transactions Subforum and find the post that says "First Free Training". Simply reply to the thread with "Free Weekly Training" and link your free weekly training claim in your rookie point task reply.

Task 2 - Complete an Activity Check

Activity Checks are able to be claimed once a week. They are a free 2 TPE simply for replying to that week's activity check. It doesn't get any easier than that!

In order to claim your first activity check, navigate to the Activity Check Subforum and link it in your activity check claim in your rookie point task reply.

Task 3 - Create an Update Page

In order to claim TPE, you need a place to put it! For this task you must create an update page and link the training and activity check to it. If you need an example to look at, check out our Head Updater's Update Page for a good one. You will create your update page in the Unassigned Player Updates Subforum. Once you create your update page link it in your rookie point task reply.

Task 4 - Make a Media Entry or a Graphics post

A great way to earn money in this league is to write media or make league graphics. For this entry, either write an article in the NSFL Media Subforum (minimum 300 words), or create a graphics entry in the GFX Submissions Subforum. Once you complete the option of your choice link it in your rookie point task reply.

Task 5 - Complete a Point Task

Point tasks are prompts that are given each week that can be replied to with either a graphical or written response. They offer a boost of 3 TPE for each one completed once they have been graded.  We also offer weekly and season predictions, mock drafts, and Ultimus Week tasks that are also eligible for this task.

Point tasks are found in the Point Task Subforum. The Wiki Point Task is not eligible to fill this task and while Affiliate PT's work on a weekly basis, they are also not accepted for the Rookie Task.  Complete a point task and link it in your rookie point task reply.

Task 6 - Complete the Rookie Survey

Each rookie is asked to complete the rookie survey to help us improve the process for each rookie joining the league.
