(S13) - Ultimus Week - smaxx77 - 03-13-2019 2) Spotlight on the Youth One of the unsung heroes of the Ultimus Bowl was defensive tackle Thorian Skarsgard. Defense does not always get the same attention that offense gets, and even then defense tackle remains one of the less flashy positions. It can often be a thankless job. Thorian Skarsgard is a young Orange County Otters player who has managed to have an impact at this position. Despite not putting up jaw dropping numbers in any category, he is important in helping set the line for actions such as run stopping. During the Ultimus, he helped hold the Yetis to only 63 rushing yards. This feat was also bolstered by assisting in keeping the Yetis from scoring a rushing touchdown. Of course, Thorian Skarsgard also helped defeat the Yetis’ passing game. As a defensive line man, Thorian Skarsgard attempts to put pressure on the quarterback every time he goes to pass. Defensive tackles are not traditionally where high pressure comes from, as this duty more often falls to defensive ends and linebackers. Still, Thorian Skarsgard managed to contribute on the pass rush during the Ultimus Bowl. He came up with a sack during the fourth quarter of the game. This forced the Yetis to burn a timeout, and further decrease any chance the Yetis had of a comeback. Thorian Skarsgard helped contribute to the Otters’ championship season, and as a young player he is poised to assist in many more. It will be interesting to see how this young player’s career continues to develop. 4) Quarterback Matchup It is hard to argue that any position has more impact on the game of football than the quarterback. This year’s Ultimus Bowl was an exciting game, quarterbacked by Gus T.T. Showbiz for the Otters and Micycle McCormick for the Yetis. Going into the game, the matchup appeared pretty even. What McCormick had in extra experience Showbiz made up for in physical ability. It was McCormick who ended up having to shoulder the larger burden. His team was playing from behind for most of the game, which led to him having a much higher volume of passing. McCormick when 36 for 54 with 291 yards. Meanwhile, Showbiz was only called on to pass 36 times, completing 22 of them for 247 yards. Both quarterbacks played an equal role in their team’s scoring, having thrown two touchdowns each. Neither quarterback received perfect marks for protecting the ball. Showbiz threw two interceptions during the game while McCormick only threw one. Showbiz did receive better support from his running game, as they produced 91 yards of offense. McCormick’s backs only managed 63 yards, which also accounts for volume of passing McCormick had to produce. Both quarterbacks played valiantly, but I would give McCormick a slight edge. Unfortunately, this better game did not lead to better results. Showbiz’s Otters beat McCormick’s Yetis 24-21. This shows that even though the quarterback is the most important member of the offense, he does not have complete control over the game. It is a team effort. Going forward, it will be interesting to see how McCormick’s game evolves as he continues to get older. For Showbiz, hopefully he can continue to be a productive member of the NSFL. After all, good quarterback play results in more exciting games for everyone. PBE (S13) - Ultimus Week - 124715 - 03-13-2019 1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - COMPLETED 231 WORDS They’re technically not my team anymore, but I really do need people to understand the bright future of the New Orleans Second Line. They are set at QB for a long, long time with Borkus Maximus III, DSFL bust and NSFL stud, just entering regression. He’s also got his best weapon, Vladimir Fyodorovich, still hanging around after a stellar season where he was top 3 in receiving yards. The roster is quickly being reloaded with young talent as well! Grayson Kuusela and Lo Rax brighten up the future of the New Orleans defense, while Tyler Swift helps the outlook for the offense. The Second Line dynasty showed that to win the Ultimus consistently, you need two sets of players – the old talent in the back end of their prime, and the rookies through 3rd years who can earn quickly and hold the team over for the future. (Note that other Ultimus winners who didn’t become dynasties didn’t have this – the S7 Liberty come to mind.) I won’t say the Second Line are quite there yet, but if they draft well (read: flawlessly) they are much closer than people think. Plus, it’s not like they were a dumpster fire this year, either. Borkus played decently throwing to nobodies and inactives (including 166 TPE Paul DiMirio!) and as their young talent pool continues to grow, he will easily mitigate the effects of regression. Code: 231 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - COMPLETED 273 WORDS Having top-notch veteran players is always great, but the Otters have been able to maintain their success for years due to how they groom their rookie crop. There’s always the next generation pushing for playing time, ready to make an impact. For that reason, it was really hard to pick just one player for the spotlight, but I’ll pick 931 TPE S/LB Danny Grithead. Nobody will remember this, but he entered the league as a RB with the Coyotes. He had a monster season with video game YPC numbers, and the Otters told me he’d be back next season. I was thrilled to be able to build the offense around him, but without warning they switched his position and called him up, where he instantly contributed. He’s hardly youth by this point, but he’s still young enough that he’s got lots of career left. His impact in the playoffs was easy to spot, racking up 8 tackles in the first game and 5 tackles with a sack in the second. One important part of Grithead’s game that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet is his versatility. The Otters invented, popularized, and rely on the hybrid safety/linebacker or “moneybacker” role. Some (like Mason Brown, guessing by stats) play only LB, while some (guessing maybe Grithead) play both S and different LB spots. This allows incredible flexibility when building rosters, because you can basically fill out two spots with one guy, regardless of position, and let the $LB play the other one. Girthead is exactly the player you want on your defense: active, high TPE, positional flexibility, and performance on the field. Code: 273 The Otters have the remarkable ability to get the best out of every level of their roster, and that starts with the young guys. 3) POST-GAME - COMPLETED 229 WORDS Wow! This year’s Ultimus was a game for the ages. Even though the Otters stayed ahead throughout the game, QB Micycle McCormick still played well. In fact, the entire Yeti team played well! WR Verso L’Alto ( @nunccoepi ![]() Code: 229 The league is way too unpredictable to make looking ahead worth it, so I'm just going to look back instead. It's not hard to find the difference between Yeti and Liberty QBs in the conference championship game: A 4TD:2INT QB will win 99/100 games against a 2TD:5INT performance, and that's exactly what happened. I don't think that that game was indicative of Falconi's future, but she certainly didn't help the Liberty win the game. The other game, Otters vs Sabercats, was much more interesting, as it pitted the always-dominant Otters against the upstart Sabercats. SJS’ Joilet L. Christ had outperformed OCO’s Gus Showbiz throughout the entire year, even though Showbiz was leaned on much more. In the playoff game, the two quarterbacks had similar attempt numbers, although Showbiz’ passer rating was higher, and he didn’t commit any turnovers. In the NSFC Championship game, we saw the drastic effect of 5 interceptions, but let’s not pretend that one pick isn’t huge. Erasing one pick can cause a 14 point swing – the Otters’ margin of victory was just 10. And that doesn’t take into account momentum shift, crowd enthusiasm, and QB rhythm. It’s not like Christ played badly, but with the way Showbiz and Orange County played, he needed to step it up. Code: 211 5) UNSUNG HERO: WHO WAS THE UNSUNG HERO OF THE PLAYOFFS, CONVINCE US - COMPLETED 224 WORDS A lot of names will be brought up for playoffs MVP for the Otters – Ricky Adams, Mason Brown, even Gus Showbiz. But how about LB Rickey Ramero? whomst? Yeah, that’s right. The bust #1 overall LB that was just one in a long string of Yeti failures. Of course you noticed his DPOY in week 15, where he put up a decent 9 tackles and even picked off a pass. But his perhaps better week 16 performance probably slipped through your eyes. He was flying around the line of scrimmage, racking up 11 tackles and a TFL where he leveled Micycle McCormick in the backfield. In the playoffs, the most important thing is consistency. In the regular season, you can say things like “we’ll win the next game” or “we can rebound”. In the playoffs, you don’t get that chance – you get to “rebound” from your couch, watching the championship game you’re not in. While Mason Brown may have had a flashier performance in the Ultimus bowl, he was disappointing from the SLB position in the divisionals, racking up just 6 tackles with no other stats. The same was true for Ricky Adams and Gus Showbiz. So why am I choosing Ramero over obviously better players like Brown? Consistency is key, and Ramero showed out in both games when his team needed him most. Code: 224 (S13) - Ultimus Week - timeconsumer - 03-14-2019 Written: Write 200 words on your team and either why they should be looked at as Ultimus champions this season, or if your team has been eliminated, next year, or the year after for those non-believers. Hah my team will definitely be Ultimus champions next year because they were Ultimus champions this year. Wait, I'm not an Otter anymore. God damnit why did I have to make a quarterback. I miss my Otters. ![]() 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - Can be completed anytime Written: Write 200 words on one of the players in this year's Ultimus Week that are Season 10 or newer and spotlight on how they can affect this year's Ultimus. (Or have affected) Oh you wanna know about a player affecting the Ultimus? Let me tell you about a little wide receiver named SUNNYFUCKINGCURSED. Okay that doesn't work very well when his name is one word. Who the fuck has one name? Are you Cher? Sunnycursed went into the Ultimus game ready to swing some big ol dick. See when he was drafted the rest of the league for some reason let him fall all the way to the Otters at pick number 6 or whatever it was. Why would you let a wide receiver who is a proven badass in this league fall all the way down there? I get you need a new safety or whatever and are afraid to carry more than 2 wide receivers even though one is inactive, but you're dumb. This is probably going to be one of the best players in his class at an extremely important position and you guys let the Otters take him and he proceeded to mushroom stamp the league with 3 catches for 61 yards, one of them being a 40+ yarder. This dude can stretch the field and keep your safety constantly worried about the deep threat while Showbiz carves you up. Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. (Can be completed after the Ultimus game) Ultimus MVP this year is an easy decision. Lots of players did pretty well but one dude stood out among the rest with a dominant performance that we have seen from him so many times before. Mason Brown the linebacker turned safety/LB hybrid who plays at outside linebacker absolutely dominated the competition this year by shutting down the run game and pass game against the mighty Yeti. Not only did Mason Brown get 13 tackles, not only did he get 2 tackles for a loss, not only did he sack McCormick, but he also batted down two balls in coverage. He turned in a sideline to sideline backfield to goal line, you name it he did it. That man is the fastest damn defender in the league and he put on a show by not only flashing his elite speed in coverage but dominating in the box and at the point of attack as well. The fact of the matter is that Mason Brown is more and more looking like he is going to be considered the greatest defensive player ever in the NSFL, even better than the famous cheater Dermot Lavelle. It might take time for more people to realize it but it is the truth. PBE PT http://probaseballexperience.jcink.net/ind...indpost&p=65470 (S13) - Ultimus Week - Toasty - 03-14-2019 QB Matchup: The Ultimus matchup between the Orange County Otters and the Colorado Yeti presented an interesting quarterback matchup. Both quarterbacks had put together strong showings in the regular season and had helped lead their teams to the championship game. Gus T.T. Showbiz was the victorious quarterback as he passed for 247 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and a 77 passer rating on 22/36 passing in the Otters' 24-21 win. However, Micycle McCormick also had a solid performance despite the Yeti's loss with 291 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception, and a 84.7 passer rating on 36/54 passing. It's hard to say who won the quarterback battle. McCormick had more yards and had higher passer rating, a better completion percentage, and 1 less interception despite having 18 more passing attempts. However, Showbiz had a higher yards per completion and had the same amount of touchdowns on 18 less attempts and ended up on the winning side of the game. Overall, both quarterbacks put up pretty similar performances. Neither performed badly but neither performed amazingly either, so both performances were overall decent. Both quarterbacks performed below their regular season average passer rating, so credit goes to the defenses for playing strong games and preventing this game from becoming a shootout as it could have been much more high scoring if both quarterbacks were on the top of their game. Post Game: In the S13 Ultimus Bowl, the Orange County Otters once again found themselves in the familiar position of championship game contestant, taking on the Colorado Yeti, who are more known for never winning games during seasons than winning championships. Personally, it was a very interesting matchup as the team that drafted me first overall back in S5, the Yeti, took on the team they traded me to in the Otters. The game itself was a doozy. Colorado jumped out to a 3-0 lead early, and that’s how the first quarter would end. The Otters would get on the board about halfway through the second quarter with a field goal of their own. On their next drive, the Otters would take the lead as Gus T.T. Showbiz found Carlito Crush on a slant route for a 13 yard touchdown and the 10-3 lead. The Yeti would get the last points of the half, however, on another field goal. 10-6 going into halftime. The Otters would take control of the game on the first possession of the second half. Ricky Adams would break free from a would be tackler to score a 24 yard touchdown to give the Otters a 17-6 lead. But the Yeti wouldn’t be knocked out just yet! Howard Miller would break free and score on an 8 yard pass to bring the game to 17-13. After some back and forth play, the Otters looked to have put the game away with 8:40 left when Seer Zepyhrous fell into the endzone and gave the Otters a 24-13 lead. The Yeti would end up getting a touchdown and the two point conversion with a minute left, but they wouldn’t get the ball back and Orange County walked away with a 24-21 Ultimus Victory! Spotlight on the Youth: With two aging stars at wide receiver, the Orange County Otters’ biggest young player for the team is wide receiver Sunnycursed. As I say, this is important for the Otters to have a young guy on their offense in that position. I could be writing this from the perspective of being before the playoffs, but I’m not gonna lie and instead I’ll use some stats from the playoffs. Sunnycursed caught a TD, which is the same amount of receiving TDs as star Carlito Crush and more than the other star Tegan Atwell, who’s retiring. This is important to mention because with Tegan Atwell retiring and Carlito Crush, it’ll be important for a guy like Sunnycursed to get his reps in. Now, throughout the season, Sunnycursed did okay. He got just under a thousand yards. He’s not a rookie, which means he won’t be winning any awards for that sort of thing; but the important thing is that he’s playing and improving. He was helpful in the playoffs and the Ultimus because he got a TD, which is better than a lot of other people who have never even gotten close to the playoffs before, let alone a TD in the playoffs. Magic Moment: My magic moment would be when Mason Brown tackled the Yeti Tight End 13 yards behind the line of scrimmage that has to be some sort of record right? Right? Well any way I remember hearing the crowd cheer as it happened and I knew right then and there that we were going to win that fucking game. That was the hype that I needed to get my motor running for that game as soon as it happened I felt this energy run threw my body and I used that for the whole game. I got what 13 tackles and a tackle for loss and they gave the game MVP to Rickey Adams. Come on guys acknowledge me and what I am doing out there. I wanted to get to go to Disneyland. I haven't been there and this is the second year in a row Mr. Rickey Adams gets to go. It was heart breaking but I know how much work Adams puts in to be the dynamic player he is and I am looking forward to many more great seasons with him. (S13) - Ultimus Week - NamelessNate - 03-14-2019 Written: Write 200 words on your team and either why they should be looked at as Ultimus champions this season, or if your team has been eliminated, next year, or the year after for those non-believers. The San Antonio Marshals should have been the rightful DSFL ultimini champions this season. The Marshals had the best performing offense as they do every season, and some late season additions at linebacker moved them into place with the best defense in the league. However, as is tradition, the referees at the conference championship did everything they could to give Tijuana the overwhelming edge. Through a mixture of bad spots, bad class, and outright missed penalties, the Luchadores were able to yet again best the Marshals in the conference championship to move onto the ultimini. Now, let us assume this is a perfect world and everyone on the marshals roster was able to stay with the team and move forward with the next season. This is why they would be S14 champions: first they will have stand out QB Cooter Bigsby to lead the charge as a remarkable upgrade over Wozy, and behind him will be presumed MVP Speedy Boija. This power duo would be unstoppable. On the flip side, they would have had future DPoY and maybe the first player to win MVP as a linebacker in Allen Josh. Surely this would have been a team for the ages and one that would have broken the Tijuana curse. Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. (Can be completed after the Ultimus game) The ultimus MVP is not a surprise to anyone as it was speed linebacker Mason Brown. Brown was extremely impressive recording 13 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss, a sack (which doesn’t count as a tackle for loss in this game, can somebody please explain to me how a sack which is quite literally tackling the quarterback for a loss does not count as a tackle for loss in the sim?) and 3 pass deflections. This outstanding defensive performance will be one looked at for ages as to why the Orange County otters will be proclaimed victors. On his trip to Disney world, brown made his presence known as he signed babies and kissed autographs to every fan that approached him. He was even featured in the nightly “make a dream come true” performance as he sang a solo from the top of the castle before zip lining into the crowd below. One person in particular that took note of this on field and off field performance was rising star Allen Josh, and the duo was actually photographed together at the wilderness lodge where they are said to have partied and formed a bond. The rumor mill is already swirling saying that Josh may be the next Brown to enter the league. The festivities finally came to an end as Mason Brown toured the world restaurants in Epcot and noted that mission to Mars was his favorite ride saying that if he had not become a football player that he would have become an astronaut. 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - Can be completed anytime Written: Write 200 words on one of the players in this year's Ultimus Week that are Season 10 or newer and spotlight on how they can affect this year's Ultimus. (Or have affected) One player that will definitely make an impact in next season’s ultimini will be stand out linebacker Allen Josh. The young man has already made an impact in this season’s heartbreaking conference championship loss recording 13 tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recover, and he is only slated to get faster, stronger and smarter as he develops. As a red rated player who declared after the trade deadline, he will come out with an edge over his S15 draftmates and will absolutely crush whatever joke lineman is put in front of him in the DSFL. Watch for his team to make and win the ultimini in season 14. He will absolutely be the player to watch for both regular season and post season MVP as well as Devensive player of the year. If I were to make a projection now I could see him making 11 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 tackles for losses, a pass deflection and an interception in next year’s ultimini. I would even say that if he had declared a day sooner, that he would have made an immediate impact at the NSFL level of play. This young man is built for success and any team with the luck to have him on their roster should find themselves in great position to win some hardware. PBE PT http://probaseballexperience.jcink.net/ind...indpost&p=65566 (S13) - Ultimus Week - CDub2 - 03-14-2019 1. PBE PT 2. Obviously the Yellowknife Wraiths are retooling right now. We are on the cusp on regaining the throne of the NSFC. The Yeti think they're so cool, but they're nothing. Soon enough, the mismanagement of draft pick will hit them hard. And when it does, the Wraiths will pounce. We are ample with young offensive talent. It just depends if Cameron Taylor is around long enough to see it. Don't even get me started on the Liberty or the Hawks. The Liberty have been mediocre for so long, I don't even know if they would know rebuilding or competing if it bit their GMs in the butt. The Hawks are just starting to rebuild here, so they are a bit behind the curve but they have great management. So I wouldn't be surprised if the start to compete maybe a year or two after we take over the division. Look at our impact positions. QB, WR, and RB are set right now. And that how you build champions in the sim. Impact players that touch the ball the most. Watch out for this coming year. We will surprise. If we aren't the 2 seed in the NFSC next season I will be surprised. 206 3. Well, the most anticipated of this year's playoffs was the Orange County Otter and San Jose SaberCat match up in the ASFC conference game. Everyone knew the teams from the NsFC were bums, so most people predicted the winner of the ASFC would be more or less handed the Ultimus trophy. Well, what a game it was. Honestly, going in, I felt bad for the Saber Cats. For too long they've been the meme of the NSFL. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride kind of thing. They make the playoffs only to get knocked out first round. Or win 10 games in the regular season only to be stuck behind the Outlaws and the Otters. Well, it seems this year was no different. And I laughed. Neither team played poorly nor great. But the sim just doesn't like the Saber Cats in the playoffs. Gus T.T. Showbiz, my old teammate Carlito Crush, and Ricky Adams were just too good on the road and the San Jose Saber Cats fell to the Otters. Well, another year down the drain and another year of turmoil in San Jose. What else is new. Luckily they have some great young weapons, but man oh man, who knows if those weapons will be enough to overcome the worse sim luck in the jistory of the NSFL. 222 4. I'm gonna say that finally a running back has made an impact on the playoffs. It seems in the last few seasons, running the ball is a thing of the past. Well, it still may be, but there's no way the Orange County Otters would be world champions without the wicked play of Ricky Adams grinding the ball through a couple good defences. Well, they SaberCats must be devastated. They played really good defence against the run, yet Ricky Adams snuck into the endzone twice in the game, including a go ahead score midway through the fourth quarter. And it seemed that rushing TD was kind of the dagger for the Cats. In the final against the Yeti, Adams punched in another score in order to give the Otters a lead they wouldn't give up. Again, at half time, the Yeti were in striking distance only down 4. Then the otters get the ball in the 3rd quarter and Ricky punched one in and bang, now the Otters are up by a daunting 11 points. So his overall stat line may not be great, totaling under 100 yards in the two games, but when he did score, they were huge and seemed to be the final boost the Otters needed to shut the opposition down. 215 (S13) - Ultimus Week - br0_0ker - 03-15-2019 1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime As I've only declared for the draft this year, I can only hope to be fortunate enough to help a team compete for the Ultimus. If not, I relish the opportunity to compete for the Ultimini. I bring fantastic size and hands, with a track record to boot. But this ain't a sales pitch, the tape speaks for itself, and I know I bring value to whoever drafts me. I have dominated at the highest level of competition available to me and I only expect the future to be more of the same, as I continue to master my craft and reach the peaks of wide receiver performance. And it's not just about my individual performance; I elevate others at my position, I elevate the guys I rep against every day. I hold a personal philosophy to honor the bonds I form with my brothers on the field above all else. Each play, my life is in the hands of ten other men, and together we live or die. I intend to never let my brothers die. Pair the unfathomable depths of my desire to be the greatest wide receiver this league has ever seen with my unshakable philosophy that my team is my family, and I have no doubt whatever team places their faith in me will be standing upon that podium at the end of the season, triumphant in the season's ultimate victory. 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - Can be completed anytime Seer Zephyrous's contributions to and the whole of the rushing attack by the Otters was the difference in this year's Ultimus. It's not enough to have your starter come out and have an impact, but when you have a talented second back the flow of the game can really be on your side. Seer had enough left in the tank to punch it in from two yards out midway through the fourth, and McCormick's late matching score showed that had Zephyrous not scored, the Otters could not have had the offense to take the lead with only 1:22 left. Sure, it was second and goal, but it was no sure thing Showbiz would complete it on third, having just failed to convert on first down. Seer took it upon himself to be the difference-maker and the four point differential of his efforts was the difference between winning and losing. When the play on the field at other positions is equal, it's effort like this that allows a team to complete their ultimate goal, and without talented role players like Seer Zephyrous stepping up when called upon, the outcome of this game surely would have gone the other way. I expect to see a repeat performance in this year's endeavors. 3) PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME - Can be completed before or after based on choice. The ASFC Championship Game featured balanced offenses facing off against steady defenses, generating a compelling watch. With half a quarter gone, SaberCats quarterback Joliet L. Christ started the scoring with a twenty-nine yard strike to Kazmir Oles in the first. The scoring would teter-totter, back-and-forth until special teams would make their mark and Adam Anderson knocked in a pair of forty yard field goals in the third. Anderson would add to the winning margin, along with a tow-point conversion following a drive-matching touchdown run by Ricky Adams early in the fourth. The effort was too much for the team from San Jose to match, and in the end, they will have to wait another year to complete their quest for greatness. The Otters, however, advanced to the Ultimus and their dreams of being champions stayed alive. Statistically, the Otters pushed a higher yardage total, but that was about it. The SaberCats offense was able to keep stride, but the field position battle allowed Orange County's special teams to be the difference in this one. My player of the game goes to Adam Anderson, for his clutch 47-yarder with twelve seconds left to put the game firmly out of reach. His third quarter kicks were the only scoring of the quarter, and without him, it is doubtful the Otters come away victorious. 4) QUARTERBACK MATCHUP - Can be completed anytime I think one look at the stat-line shows how pass oriented the Ultimus was. Micycle McCormick gave a spectacular effort in his attempt to single-handedly win it for the Yeti, not only tossing the pig for over half a benji, but also leading Colorado in rushing attempts and yardage. Of course, having a superstar quarterback comes with a greater advantage when the guys across the field aren't packin' as well. The central coast phenom Gus T.T. Showbiz matched McCormick in touchdowns, lead in average yardage per completion, and nearly matched McCormick's completion percentage and overall rating. He was sacked less as well, which, while a testament to his offensive line, puts on display his pocket presence, as opposed to McCormick's willingness to scramble. And while McCormick generated most of the offense targeting veterans L'Alto and Miller, it was the balanced distribution of the man with the extra T that conjured the salt of his opponents on that day. Ultimately, when a single match-up is that closely contested, the game will sway toward the team more complete in other areas, and sway it did. The rushing attack for the Otters proved effective in tilting the scales in their favor. Will there be another Ultimus as quarterback-centric as this in coming year? Only time will tell. |
