I would love for Cooter Bigsby to set the season record for passer rating. While something like touchdowns or yards or even career stats would be awesome I'm not sure how feasible that is at this point in the league. I can likely never pass the career yardage and TDs of someone like Boss who played a lot more games in his career with a 14 game season or who played during the heyday when passing was much more efficient. I also could likely never pass a Gambino or Blocksdale in career passer rating because they didn't play much at the low end of TPE on either end of their careers. So this leaves me with something like the career passer rating stat to try and set a record. This would be something I think is pretty reasonable with only a little bit of sim luck and also something that would be pretty awesome to secure because it's often one of the first stats people look at when trying to determine awards and MVPs and those sorts of things. Although this season may not be the season for Cooter to try and secure that award because he has been off to a rocky start in terms of throwing interceptions, but hopefully in a season or too that will settle down and Cooter can really start to open things up and throw for volume and efficiency together.

The record that I would like to break is one that may seem strange to some because it is. It isn't a stat or record one should be proud of, but nonetheless I am set on setting it for future players. I will set the highest amount of receiving yards and/or games before getting a touchdown. With my "glacial pace" at getting TPE, I do not play a dominant role in the Yeti receiving game such as the top WRs and end up playing third wheel or have no impact either way in creating scores. That also adds onto the slowly fading offensive woes in Colorado that have been around the program even before I joined in S16 and even if I gain enough TPE to play a small part in the red zone, I may not make any touchdowns. By the time I get my first touchdown, I will definitely make that touchdown worth more than other players' multiple touchdowns usually per game. The once slightly and not really known I N F L U E N C E R of the Kansas City Coyotes from their recent fall and rise to the playoffs in a season, has only managed to keep one thing consistent from the DSFL to the NSFL: the lack of touchdowns.

Marcella T?riki is a name that will be synonymous with insane rushing yards. This young running back is here to run the ball until she can’t run any more. In her debut season in the DSFL, she has managed to lead the promising pack of running backs in rushing yards from day one. While the star of Norfolk’s offense is not on pace to break the season record for rushing yards at the moment, considering that the standing record sits at a daunting 2570 yards, she has not yet given up the possibility of attaining the record for a single game. The current game record is 229 yards, set in 2019. Reaching this goal would require her to top her current game best of 164 yards by an additional 66 yards. A feat, certainly, but not impossible, given the determination this running back has shown as an athlete. T?riki is supported by a fantastic O-line that will help her on her way to personal victory as she dashes her way across the gridiron over and over again to rack up those yards. To be able to cross the line between a high yard game and a record breaking game would allow T?riki to take an important step in her journey to become a truly legendary running back.

Franklin Armstrong broke the DSFL single season passing TD record back in S14 with 22 on the year. That broke the previous record of 19 by another former Portland Pythons record. That DSFL record may stand for a long time. Now Armstrong has set on beating the single season TD pass record of 45 set by Gambino of the Hawks a couple seasons ago. This will take Armstrong a lot of dedication. He is having a relatively okay rookie season. Not bad but not particularly good. It will take a lot of training for Armstrong to become the elite QB Gambino was during his career. Armstrong currently has 12 TDs and 9 INTs with a 75 passer rating. Not really up to the caliber of play he had in the DSFL as a two time MVP. Of course the season is not over yet so Armstrong still has a chance to turn it around. Armstrong’s goals to end the season include not throwing any more picks, throwing for 3000 yards, and 20 + TDs. He is also a team player at the end of the day and is rooting for anything that helps the Otters success. The number one goal is bringing home the Otters 6th Ultimus championship. (208 words).

Morgan Marshall has had his eyes set on one, and only one, record in particular even before he decided to declare for the NSFL draft: he wants to break the all-time yards from scrimmage record. He knows, as a receiving back, that he will never get close to the all time rushing yards record. His usage numbers will simply not be able to compete with bellcow backs like Dorfus Jimbo or Marquise Brown, even with his superior efficiency. Nor will he be able to sniff the receiving yards or catches lists either, since he is still a running back and will pilfer possible receiving touches from himself every time he lines up in the backfield. However, given his varied usage, the yards from scrimmage NSFL record will be far more within reach and attainable for Marshall. Being able to reach this milestone would be a dream come true for the former Princeton back. Oftentimes Marshall feels like he is playing for the reputation of receiving backs as a whole in a league geared towards bellcow speed backs like most of his fellow draftmates, so getting a huge longevity record like that for all time yards from scrimmage would be massively beneficial to his legacy and HOF aspirations.

Marquees Acho was actually very close to having 2 records at the DSFL level- the single game tackle record and the single season tackle record. Acho had over 20 tackles in a game twice, which before S15, would have been the single game record. Also, Acho beat the previous single season tackle record for the DSFL. Unfortunately, 2 other linebackers that year also beat the previous tackle record and had more than Acho. Coming this close ate away at Acho and he’s determined to try and hit these records at the NSFL level, even though it will be extremely difficult. Acho’s teammate in Baltimore, Austin Roenick, is the career tackle leader in the nsfl so Acho’s hoping to learn as much as he can from Roenick before he retires after this season.

Tackling isn’t the only thing Acho wants to hold the record for. He also wants the single season forced fumble record. There’s no better way to impact the game as a linebacker than to force a turnover. As Acho has no success with interceptions, forcing fumbles is his best bet to help Baltimore’s defense take the next step.

At the end of the day, all of these records are secondary to winning. But there’s something to be said about seeing your name on the records list making the hard work worth it.

If I could break one record in the NSFL or DSFL, I would want to break the NSFL career catches record. I would like to break this record more than the touchdown or yardage record because I feel that getting catches proves how consistent of a player I would be and I would enjoy the reputation of being solid and consistent more than an inconsistent explosive player. To beat this record, I would need to be the top option on a pass-heavy team of course. It would take a rock solid quarter back and a game plan tailored to me in order to break this record, which I do not think would be possible, especially considering that the current record holder, Paul DiMirio, has over 1100 career receptions. It would be quite the feat for an ordinary wide receiver to match this production that came from a tight end.
Another more important record that I would like to break would be the all time wins record. I am a very competitive player, so having the most wins out of everybody in league history would be an excellent accomplishment. Being able to have my name in the record books at all would be awesome and would give me incentive to make an even better player the next time.

As all rookies in the DSFL do, they aspire to greatness, they aspire to take it to the next level and make an NSFL roster and hope to one day, hoist up that Ultimus trophy and bring the glory home with them. Greatness is not something that is just achieved overnight. It is a long, grueling road, that is paved with blood, sweat, and tears. It is a home that is built on the broken spirits and bodies of those, you had to crush, that were standing in your way.

In football, all players have the certain physical gifts that put them above the rest. It is what they do with these gifts, that will make or break their path to super stardom. Oswald Grimnir makes his money with his speed first. "Speed Kills" is written above his locker and on his cleats. Oswald knows that the faster he is to the ball, the faster he makes plays. You can't be a true center field safety, if you can't play the field. Oswald lives for breaking up passes and turning the ball over. On occasion, he is known to blow passed the line and make a sack, just to let the opponents know, he can and will be anywhere he is needed.

With his obsession with speed and getting to the ball, Oswald aspires to set a DSFL record for most combined Pass Deflections and Interceptions in a single game. He knows that he is not the best safety in the DSFL and that he is not yet ready to be called up to The NSFL but he sure as hell knows that with each week, he gets faster and faster, as he uses his contract and additional earning to train hard to get faster and get to the ball. As far as rookie safeties go, he may just as well be closer to his goal than most think.
