This would be an easy decision for me. Considering I spend the majority of the off season already partaking in this activity, I can only assume the frequency would increase as I’m allotted more free time. The activity is golf. Throughout most of the season, I spend my time in Portland Oregon which is sandwiched right between 2 of the worst sates for corona virus cases. During the off season, I return back home to the calm Midwest. My home state is on a semi-strict lock down which is only allowing travel to essential businesses which include grocery stores, medical offices, and some carryout restaurants. One shocking yet interesting piece of news to come out recently is that the governor has ruled that golf courses are considered essential businesses and can remain open during this statewide shutdown. Given my NSFL earnings, I should be able to sustain my weekly golfing habit for at least a few years if needed. If the NSFL season was suspended too long, I may decide to not return once it reconvened despite my young age. Given the typical ornery behavior during the usual off season, I could quite possibly see this league burning to the ground if a longer break were to occur.

Honestly, if this season was to be cancelled tomorrow, I would be very happy. This season, both personally and for Yellowknife, has been pretty damn bad. Besides wins versus Philadelphia and Orange County, the rest of the season has just sucked. We're 9 weeks into the season and I've barely broken past 600 rushing yards. I haven't scored, I can't do anything in the passing game, everything has just been a wash as far as I'm concerned. As to what I would be doing if the season was actually cancelled? As much as I want to see family, with them being down in Boston and me being in Yellowknife, I don't want to get stuck in quarantine after flying. Going to the training facility is still an option at least for now, unless they start shutting everything down. I've been playing some video games to pass time which has been fun, finally running through the big library of games that I've been building up over the past few years. Other than that, it's all just a waiting game. I've been keeping up with family, making sure everyone back home is staying safe, making sure they'll be ok for the next couple of months. Maybe I'll be able to head back home once everything starts calming down a little bit more, but right now, I'm just staying home and using my personal gym so I don't have to go out.

If the NSFL and DSFL were to suspend for the season, staying active and entertained would be a difficult task. This is the only sport that is in still full swing for my entertainment.
Losing it would be devastating as a user. My player, Haha Mango-Panda, will make the most of it and work hard to get better for the upcoming draft, and would still try to keep up with TPE.
As far as teammates, Big Snacks Edd and I we'll start hosting an online cooking show called "Snacks & Panda Eat" on YouTube. Snacks makes the greatest food, so hopefully we can share some of his recipes with everyone. In addition, we hope to earn extra income from the show and hopefully it will keep us entertained while the whole Coronavirus blows over. If we do get bored, there are some board games we could play. Some good games are Jungle Speed, Monopoly and Risk.As for the team, I hope the Dallas Birddogs would keep up in training and watch our online cooking show. A expansion team cannot miss a step since we still have to keep up with the other DSFL teams, I trust that my teammates would do that. In conclusion, I think the suspension would be rough but I can find things to do until a new season ramps up again.

(S21) - PT3 - Quarantine - Tesla - 03-26-2020

The Norfolk Seawolves while a well united team has each individual focused on their own quarantine system. Magnus and his agent Tesla have both made sure that each team member would have access to them in the form of phone number, e-mail, discord, and even their address for the use of primitive messaging methods. Agent Tesla has also gone out of their way to see to it that each team member would have the ability to safely quarantine using their old connections to provide safe housing options as needed. Along with providing a dedicated delivery system in case the shipping systems collapse.

Magnus would be disappointed in the lost season, but getting to spend more time with the amazing locker room that is in Norfolk would make up for it depending on if it impacted the draft of course. Given his spouse is a member of the medical field he would be much more concerned with their well being. Although given his agent's abnormal preparation he is also aware that should the suspension notice come down that he would not be in Norfolk for long.

He would be passing the time by working out in a secure bunker that his agent prepared while his spouse would focus on finding a cure. That would be the primary goal of the facility as it would collect all the best medical minds that agent Tesla knows from their long time on the planet in one place to speed that process along. Despite knowing he would be away from his team his goal would be to maintain contact with them digitally throughout his workout processes while staying supportive of his spouse by staying in the bunker.

Having done some research into it though both Magnus and agent Tesla agree that they need to do more to help the team in case of quarantine procedures after learning about Spike Suzuki's plans. Given quarterback Luke Skywalker's suggested plans though there might be no need for concern.

If the NSFL/DSFL were to cancel, it would be devastating to me and the team, but it would allow us to reassess our goals and strategies. It would be difficult for me personally, since I wouldn't be able to travel home and I would be stuck in London. I'm still fairly new to the area, so it would be difficult for me to track down supplies. I would use my downtime to work on my pizza game and try to bring Flavortown to the UK. In terms of my game, I would really take the time to re-evaluate my goals and where to assign my priorities. So far this season, I've had a fair number of drops. Those mistakes can make or break a drive, a game, or even the momentum of a season. I would work hard on eliminating those mistakes, so I can be a better player and teammate. It would be difficult with teammates, so I would isolate myself and work with a ball machine. Repetition eliminates simple mistakes and creates consistency. I would work with my teammates remotely, going over strategies and areas we can improve.

As for my team, it would really ruin our inaugural season. With expansion teams, the first season is usually a learning season. If it were to end abruptly and with a small sample size, it would be difficult to assess our season's successes and struggles. We've had few successes and a lot of struggles early in the season. Which is more indicative of our team? How can we build off of those successes and will those struggles continue or are they just a rough patch that'll fix itself? On the positive note, it would give us a chance to step back and look at our current roster and prioritize areas for improvement.

If the NSFL was shut down for a season you already know Net be putting in that work. Net will train in his own private 1 million dollar facility that he just bought everyday. Getting them Gaines, getting that speed up and working on his catching. Net will be in way better shape he ever been in his life. You already know Net will be putting that work in like its business like usual! Also Net is gonna put on way more size he wants to be a big deal in the red zone. Non of that 2 TDs a season stuff like he has last season. No net wants a season's dominate in the red zone.

Net will also spend his time off learning his to paint. Painting is a hobby net always wanted to get into but never had the time cause of his intense training regime during offseason. Net has always been a creative type and to Express it on paper or on a canvas would be a great way to past a huge amount of time. Net really wants to fund himself painting some pictures and showing it to the world. I'm fact coming soon NetArt.com will be open for the fans to see Net amazing work.

If the NSFL or the DSFL would be shut down or Surrendered for a season or longer I already know what the Pythons would be doing as GM. First off as the GM would let any player return home till the season was called back on if they can for those who can't return home or don't wish too leave the rest of the team we would be giving them a place to live for the foreseeable future as well as having Team activities like playing Smash brother ultimate, Mario Kart and other Switch games, Digital poker, Movie nights, Dungeons and Dragons nights as well as many other options. secondly the Team would also be willing to cover the price of each team members health care as well as any and all tests that they may need for the foreseeable future. We would also using the time off to work on a few ideas of what we could do with the team like Possible Name changes, Moving the Team, development of a mascot, a new menu at the stadium and plans for future match ups with other teams. But at the end of the day i don't see this having to happen to the DSFL or NSFL.

LiterallyJust is a simple hexagon. If the NSFL and DSFL suspended their seasons indefinitely, our favorite hexagon would spend time woodworking. Due to his unique body shame and size, he has to work on furnishing his own house and creating custom doors in his new house he purchased in Tijuana. Creating a comfortable environment is important for LiterallyJust A. Hexagon especially since he hasn't spent much time at home since moving to Tiajuana from Sixes, Oregon. Additionally, Hexagon would be sad the season was suspended because Tiajuana is set to win the Ultimini and also because he would have no friends to train speed with. When not furnishing his home, Hexagon will continue to work on lengthening his stride and increase his six-sided aerodynamic ability and his aspirations to become the fastest safety in the DSFL. He will video in to the Tiajuana video conference calls to motivate and be motivated. No one can train alone and Hexagon knows it. Ugarth, Howard, and everyone else on Lucha's defense can be ready to hear from Hexagon as he sprints. No one is ever going to outrun LiterallyJust again because as Hexagon always says "If you're not going fast, why are you even moving?"

prompt Wrote:Written Option: The NSFL is currently the only operating major sports league in the United States. Write 200 words or more on what you would do if the NSFL decided to suspend the season. What would you and your team do to pass the time (and still practice safe social distancing)? How would your player feel about the lost season?

As a player in my first season of the DSFL who spent my first paycheck on getting equipment to work on more training, I think my top priority would be to keep exercising to stay in game shape. I have a sense now for the training we do as a team and so I'd do my best to try and reproduce that here in consultation with the team's experts. I haven't spent much to get a fancy home video office situation or anything but I would look into that, making sure to get something good enough that I could get feedback on my workouts. That could also help try and replace the normal locker room interactions that I wouldn't be getting in the same way. That certainly won't be as good as our normal interactions, but I believe that communication technologies for groups like this 'discord' I've heard of might help to try and have a locker room feel similar to what we get during normal game weeks.

The other factor to consider obviously is what that means for the S22 draft and doing the normal draft interviews and physicals. With the end of the season cancelled, I'd be in a position where I couldn't be trying to improve my stats to show what I can do to teams more. I think interviews and conversations would be even more important in that situation - showing that I'm committed to improving, that I would be a good fit for the team. It's much easier to cover up problems when times are good, but stressful circumstances or losing streaks are chances to see how people will behave under adversity. The challenge of not being able to work out directly for teams is just another obstacle to figure out and overcome so that I can let teams see all of my abilities and end up in the best place possible.

And lastly, I am obviously making the assumption that next season would go on as planned. To be fair, I think that's the best path to take - if there's not going to be a next season due to a continued shut-down, I don't think there's anything I can do right now that will really help. So, I'm going forward with the assumption that things will be back to normal by then.
